I recently visited Joseph & Sons Jewlers in my neighborhood, Rochdale, Queens. I always go back to this jewelry store to make purchases as my experience is always excellent from start to finish. The store itself is always clean, well-organized and both management and staff are very professional. A manager greeted me warmly and all the customers that entered the store while I was there. Everyone entering the store seems to come in with this repeat customer and family like comradery in their communications. It's comforting to see and makes you feel like this is the place to be. They continue to be very knowledgeable about their products, helping me select the perfect piece for my needs. The management and staff are patient and geared to do the best they can to keep you in your budget. Of course everything is expensive nowadays, but I bought an old piece I bought there a couple years ago and wasn't sure of the cost, and they pulled it right up on their system. I was able to determine that the offer to sell it back and reduce price on my new purchase was a fair deal. This is on top of getting a reasonable discount on ticketed price. I'm very pleased with all that. A very qualified and attentive customer representative - Jasmine, who guided me through the sale, made the final purchasing process smooth and efficient. I was offered to sign up for a 12-month, interest free credit card to pay off my purchase that made it easy on my budget. Great offer. My application was submitted and accepted right at the store. My jewelry purchased was adjusted to proper ring size on same day in a short period of time in store. This was all highly appreciated. Walked in to check if they had some charms so I could save my hubby some time. I was met with the nicest staff ever. I was sent over to Jessica and out of the office walked Isaac. He had no smile but if I was Steve Wonder I could definitely hear the friendliest tone with a smile. He was not pushy with his sales but he was commanding, funny and energetic in the subtlest way. I found all I needed and ended up adding spacers and a safety chain. I forgot it was for my husband to purchase and ended up purchasing them. Gotta Say i was Pretty Disappointed in their services i really expected better than what they had to offer i purchased an item that broke about 3 Days later than when i came back to return it they didn't take the return and they said i have to pay a return fee. Not only did they make me pay a return fee but they also didn't repair the product. I ended up having to pay to repair the product even though i had purchased it 3 days ago. Super Disappointed in the services they had to offer and I wouldn't recommend coming here. I'd rather take the train to 47th St than go locally to them and have to deal with this terrible treatment. read more

The first time I visited J and S they were very hospitable and waited on me in a timely manner. I had at least 10 pieces of jewelry but my intention was to fix only 5 or 6 pieces. The prices were so reasonable I had all my jewelry repaired. They told me it would take 2 weeks and it did. Picked up my jewelry today and was pleasantly surprised.
