I recently moved to Brickell from South Beach and was looking for a new salon for powder dip nails. I was assigned to Liliana who does not speak English. I do not speak Spanish so another tech had to translate. I explained what I wanted and assumed the manicure would be straightforward. On the third nail she burned me with the drill hard enough that I yelled. I have been burned before so I understand it can happen, but this was much more painful than anything I have experienced in the past. She then cut my nails short even though I never asked for that. While filing she sliced my finger open with a nail file. That has never happened to me before. She clearly expected it because she had styptic gel at her station and needed to use it twice to stop the bleeding. So this woman injured me twice!! When we finished we walked to the front where the cashier asked if everything was ok. Liliana stood there glaring at me. I did not feel comfortable saying anything negative in front of her so I simply did not leave a tip. It was the first time in my life that I have tipped nothing. I hoped that would be the end of it but the topcoat on my nails started peeling on day two. It was completely gone by day 5. I was traveling so I could not return. Even if I had been home, I would not have gone back because I never want that tech working on me again. I should have taken it as a sign when I saw another customer getting a 1 day old pedicure redone due to heavy chipping. This was the worst nail experience I have ever had. read more

The lady gave me a square replacement when the rest of my nails are coffin. She tried to file but it didn't work. She then doesn't confirm with me the color before she starts painting, and it wasn't until I stepped outside I saw she painted my nail an entirely different color! BEWARE I booked my fiancé an appointment at this salon and they DESTROYED her hair see photos for reference. Terrible bleach job the "stylist" ripped out chunks of her hair leaving her scalp exposed in multiple places. Her hair is 3 different shades yellow and left with chemical burns on her forehead. She came out of the salon crying and left her scared to ever let anyone touch her hair again. I expressed to the stylist that no one other than her mom had ever done her hair and to please make a good impression. I am beyond disappointed after paying $300+ for such a disservice. He bleached her hair 4 separate times leaving it thin and horribly colored. I wish I could leave 0 stars. I am absolutely horrified with the outcome and would love for no other woman to go through this. What was supposed to be a wonderful day for my fiancé to be pampered and cared for turned to a complete nightmare for both of us. Very accessible- I contacted them before opening for a same-day appointment and replied right at opening and penciled me in! Great service - offered me a coffee when I arrived and had comfy shoe seats in the waiting area. I went for a haircut and shampoo and was very happy with my cut, my hair looks way healthier than before and has tons more volume. TOTAL SCAM! I went for a gel manicure and regular pedicure, which is listed on their website for $85 for the combo. The individual UV gel manicure and regular pedicure are each $45. Not only did they not honor the pricing they wanted to charge me $15 extra. I asked for the itemized pricing and was told that the manicure was actually more expensive, then the pedicure was, then they looked at their own pricing sheet and said oh, it's $15 more expensive because the nail polish is $15. I did not have nail polish on and it was not for removal, but they charge extra for the nail polish. So how would they actually do a gel manicure and regular pedicure? With invisible polish? On top of it, the nail tech tried to sell me nail and hair vitamins...completely ridiculous. read more

It is the most awful nail salon I have ever been to. The technician injured my nails over and over again, and I got Gel X, which is supposed to be healthy for you. Today was my first visit to Trini for a hair cut and highlights. I have very long hair and am picky. My appointment was with master stylisit Alejandro, and he was amazing. I love when a stylist gives advice (rather than just asking me what I want...because how should I know...I'm not a hair professional!). Alejandro had opinions about color, cut and styling, and his advice was spot on. Not only was he a joy to spend a couple hours with, his talents had me feeling like a million bucks when I walked out of the salon. I've already booked my next appointment. Love that he did the highlights, toner and cut. I've been to other salons where you need to book the colorist and person who cuts your hair separately, and that's a pain (and takes way too long). I recently had a balayage at another salon and wasn't completely happy with the outcome. Around my face frame was too "orange-yellow" and overall very brassy. I figured it was time to try another salon and booked an appointment for partial highlights at Trini. When I called they were polite and courteous on the phone. As I arrived for my appointment the front desk was very welcoming and I did not have to wait to be seated with my colorist/stylist. Cleber was EXCELLENT!!! Highly recommended!!! I made a yelp account for this review. Their prices are affordable, but you get what you pay for. I'm getting married in a week and unfortunately she cut my nails wayyyy too short (and kept making them shorter when I asked her not to), made them square when I asked for rounded, and didn't clean under my nails / do a massage. That was .... Upsetting. Won't be going back. I was literally sweating the whole time because it was just stressful to sit there knowing I wasn't getting what I asked for. read more

"Renny" who was my stylist did an amazing job with my hair. She was super attentive and listened to my concerns and exceeded my expectations. The stylist that was assigned to me came over and very matter of fact Lee told me she knows exactly what color to put on my hair which matched what I had already.
