I've gone to this place for 2 years and in that time, got treated ok. The first year was ok, got a…read moredental cleaning and the Dr seemed friendly enough. The second year, I noticed when they changed who treated patients, it went a downhill. They had to replace a metallic filling I had because it was cracking and I had a cavity in the molar near it. When they did the filling, there was a gap left between my molars which has become a nuisance. I have to make sure that I floss every single time I eat and it's really annoying. I went back to them and they did add more filling so it kind got better but it's still an issue. I now had a follow up with my previous dentist, who I had seen for more than 20 years before I went to Garden Oaks, and he didn't understand why they didn't fix it properly when I asked them to. It was, in his opinions, a badly done filling. So, now I may have to get fixed in the future if it keeps bothering me. Also, the front desk is always short and rude with people. Don't even try to get them on the phone as it's either a good experience or a rude experience. It's why I actually stopped going to see them:

I called the after-hours line and was seen this morning without a lengthy wait. AND, there wasn't an astronomical charge attached to this unexpected visit. Dr. Joon Kim, Dr. Huynh, Raven, Rochelle and the WHOLE staff are very compassionate and caring; which is very rare these days. They take time to ensure that you are comfortable and pain-free before procedures are started. Whenever you decide to visit, be sure not To let the exterior portion of the building fool you. The office is clean and the equipment is sterile. Good hand-washing techniques are practiced. I even noticed that the exam room chairs are sanitized between each patient. In other words, even though this practice serves mostly those who are indigent they treat the people like they are important. (Which they are. ;) I truly believe that God is going to reward and bountifully bless this thriving practice to become one of the leading dental establishments in Houston. Thankfully, I found Dr. Le. They got me in first thing Friday morning, and I walked out with a temporary crown that honestly looks as good as, if not better than, my previous permanent one.
