I've gushed before and I have to gush again. This place is so wonderful. The staff is incredible friendly (if they sold a pill I'd buy it!). The lobby is soothing either a waterfall and good music. Comfortable furniture and very clean! Fishbowl window and digital aquarium help! Mom is back for quite a bit (caps, fillings and partial) and they are being so gentle and respective. Sges been incredibly nervous about the appointment and yet she felt a bit more at ease as soon as she saw dr Shen. Mom came out of her appointment with work done saying she is no longer terrified (literally) of going to the dentist. She was smiling and truly amazed. I am extremely picky about how my scaling is done because I've had way too many bad experiences with heavy handed hygienist before. I can say with confidence that all the hygienists here are experts and do an amazing job taking care of you. She has also taught me how to floss properly and made suggestions to improve my dental hygiene. I'm so glad I found this place! Dr.Shen and the entire staff are very friendly and highly skilled. I'm always scared to get my teeth cleaned by someone new because so many of them are very rough handed and made me bleed unnecessarily. I got my teeth cleaned by Mary and she was absolutely fantastic and very accommodating. She taught me how to floss properly and gave me some recommendations to prevent teeth sensitivity. Most importantly, it didn't hurt at all! I've been recommending this place to all my friends as well. Dr. Shen's office took me over as a patient when I had to unexpectedly switch dentist mid-way through my teeth straightening process. He was able to get me set up with my trays again and I've been on the road to better dental health with him and the rest of the staff since. I'm surprised by the consistent quality service. Dr. Shen is hands-on, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. For a surprisingly inexpensive price, he recommended fillings for my receding gum lines. It seemed at the moment a no brainer, but no other dentist had offered that type of fix; Instead they would offer more intrusive and apparently temporary corrections. If I could I would give this group 10 stars. I was visiting in the area and walked in off the street hoping to get a same day appt. Surely angels were guiding me. This is the best dental office EVER!! Everyone is so pleasant and helpful and accomodating. They took care of my every need, taking molds of my teeth immediately and rushing a replacement partial for the one I had lost. They worked with me on the cost, so that I could even get a spare partial bridge, " for security sake". (It's in the left front and It's embarrassing to be without it.)They made everything seem so simple and reasonable. Even though I live now in Northern Calif. Dr. Shen was amazing! I have been going to him for several years now. I have given him great reviews each time. This time a very small piece of a small front tooth broke off and I kept it. He was able to work with it cleaning it and with an adhesive and ultra violet got it back on. It looks as good as new. I did not need an expensive cap or crown to cover it.
