His manager told me that he "doesn't have a problem" with the barking dog. Amazing! I was charged the wrong (higher) insurance premium, at closing, and Mortgage Solutions has yet to provide me with the proper closing refund and future monthly payment amount. According to their servicing company, the loan number, provided, is invalid, so I am wondering what happened to a principle payment that I already mailed. I am forced to mail payments because, I am told, no Internet payments are (yet) available for my loan. This delays the receipt of my payment AND costs me postage. Someone needs to tell Mortgage Solutions to join us in the year 2018 and that Eisenhower is dead! By the time I learned how frustrating Mortgage Solutions is to deal with, I would have lost more time before closing had I switched to another company (which would have been my preference). I tried discussing these issues with the owner, but he was so rude that I terminated the call. Trying to, verbally, "push me around" may work with other clients. It never works with me!

I called mortgage solutions financial and talked about my situation and ask if I could get a loan to pay off the remaining balance so that I could keep the house. They said for me to give them all my docs which I did and they wanted my debt card to charge for a appraisal. I gave it to them. They returned back with a pre approval and they told us were good to go. They asked for a few more docs and I gave it to them they again said "we are golden to close" they sent docs to title. They fax docs to the bank that own the remaining balance. We were all set. There was a deadline to close by the bank or foreclosure. Mortgage solutions financial said were good. 3 days before closing they fired the loan officer who was working on our case with out telling anyone. So were all hear at closing and they never showed and we got voicemail. This cause us to get our home foreclosed on. So now were are taking them to court to ask for the balance between what was owed to its current value plus sentimental value of 200k. So my lawyer and I are asking the court for a total of . That includes court costs.

When we bought our house in Oklahoma, last year in May, I asked if we could make 2 payments a month…read moreat half payment each time PLUS extra to be applied to the principal. So I paid the first month in full before it was due then in the same month made the split payment plus for the following month. The first two months, no problem. Then they totally screwed the account up. Suddenly they didn't know what to do with the money I was sending and they sent me a late notice. I called them and was told they would notify the department that handle the payments and it would be handle within a week. Three months later they still haven't got it straight. Talked to numerous people for several weeks and still nothing. Finally in December they said okay wee should have it straightened out before the end of the month but instead of making your payments early and splitting them, make one payment. Well, I sent my payment the end of Dec for Jan and guess what? They still didn't process it right. I called them Jan 7 and they said they had received it but had not applied it yet. Called a few days later because my bank showed it had cleared. MSF said they were working on it. While waiting I get a letter saying that they had sold my mortgage effective Feb 1. Waited a week and called again same thing, they are working on it. Asked to speak to the supervisor/manager, he said he would look in to it and call me back the on Monday. Waited a week and still hadn't heard from him. Called Monday, he's heading into a meeting but would call after. No word from him by Wed so I called. Now it is Feb 5 and he tries to dodge the call, finally he takes it and tells me that they finally had it straighted on the night before. Now during all the calls in Jan, not one time did they say anything about selling the account. The call on Feb 5, still doesn't say anything about it. I contact the new mortgage company, Feb 6, and MSF told them I never made the payment for Jan. Hade the broker that arranged the loan with MSF, she's flabbergasted and says she'll contact them. Their reply to her, we sold the account so are not allowed to contact me about the account, had closed the account on their end, and would not notify the new mortgage holder about me already paying Jan payment plus refused to send any documents showing my payment history or how they had applied the money. AVOID THESE CROOKS AT ALL COST.

If there was a 10 star rating, I would definitely give Academy Mortgage a 10. I decided to…read moreinterview several loan officers and no one compared to Sheldon. I had an idea of the type of loan I wanted and at no point did Sheldon question my ideas. Yet, other lenders immediately attempted to sell me other ideas. Due to the market shortage, purchasing a home was quite stressful. However, Sheldon was always there to help me with all the offers I placed. As the offers changed, Sheldon adjusted accordingly, always keeping my needs a priority. He was very detailed and explained every aspect of the loan I was receiving. I have owned other homes and can genuinely say that no one has ever explained the loan process as Sheldon did. The rest of the team was fantastic to work with. Shari was very kind and helpful. She kept me up to date and always answered my questions in a timely manner. Team Perino made me feel as a valued customer. That's not something you get every day. If you are considering using Academy Mortgage for your loan needs, I highly suggest you stop looking and go with Sheldon and his team.

Academy mortgage coped gracefully with all that confusion, while providing me with great service and very competitive interest rates on both loans. Charadie Finkle and her team outperformed the usual mortgage broker while keeping my loan costs low. Communications were efficient and escrow closed exactly on time. There is a problem that Academy Mortgage "GET STARTED" software never worked: never allowed me to login, but we worked around that.
