I'm not sure how many people can write a review that can say they have had 4 different children go…read moreto the same preschool, but we have! All 4 of our kids have gone to Little Sunbeams or are currently going. We started there with our oldest at 2, back in 2019 and he went all 3 years, until kindergarten. Our kids are all 2 years apart and we started them the month they turned 2 and were able to start going. Currently, my oldest is 8 and in 3rd grade and both him and my 1st grader are already in the advanced programs at school. Kindergarten teachers were amazed with how much they knew. My daughter is 5 and finishing up her last year at LSB before moving onto kindergarten. She knows how to write her full name and is currently working on site words. My youngest is 3 and has been at LSB for a year and loves it. The best part for me as a mom, is that it is a place where I feel comfortable sending my kids. I know they will be taken care of and loved. It is just a huge plus that they learn so much, and have the opportunity to explore and be creative everyday. Little Sunbeams also has an app, so they give updates there as needed and post pictures everyday- which is also another favorite of mine. The school is affordable and also offers flexible schedules, which we have often taken advantage of. Mrs Miriam is truly an angel. She is the owner and has shaped Little Sunbeams into what it is today. I am always so surprised with how hands on she is to this day with the kids. They love her. Ms Ivis is wonderful as well. If you call or walk in, she will most likely be the person to greet you. She is so welcoming and has answers to all of the questions. She has been such a great addition to the team. Ms Veronica is one of the teachers and has had 3 of my 4 kids. She is one of their besties but knows how to keep order of a classroom so that both learning and fun can be had. Ms Sara is the Spanish and Atelier teacher and she has had all 4 of my kids! She teaches them so much and has incredible patience with them as they are learning. I really can't say enough about this school. If you are on the fence, go check it out for yourself. We are going on our 8th year here and still love it. We will be sad when we have no more preschool aged kids and have to say goodbye.

It is very difficult to find quality childcare in today's day and age without compromising either; 1. The level of care provided by staff, 2. The standard of education/curriculum, or 3. A fair price -- LSB excels in all three areas. Every time I send her there, I can feel confident that she is safe, well taken care of, and learning the concepts required to prepare her for Kindergarten.

I gave a 2 star because the Director at least heard me out and took care of some of my concerns at our abrupt departure due to my poor child being traumatized by the preschool teacher. I just don't know why she is working with kids. i witnessed how she treated them and it was with very little patience, nurturing, compassion or empathy. she would rarely smile and was very cold not just to my child but also with the parent encounters . I wonder what was going on with this woman? maybe something personal but why take it out small children? She treats this little ones like they are attending boot camp requiring the children to put their hands on their head for an extended amount of time. forget about her helping your child if they don't yet know how to put there shoes on or have an accident. she will leave them crying and practically butt naked, this was a complete nightmare. They even left the front unattended and all doors unlocked that was a total fail for me. my child was here for less than a month and we ran out of there. the sad part is there probably lots of parents who have no clue what a monster this woman was. Oh and don't count on reaching cooperate I was given the run around and no one ever called me back. There is virtually no way of reaching anyone above the site director. please do your HW parents look for a better preschool as there is one literally down the road from this place that would never treat children this way. like I said the site director was kind and tried to resolve but this women " Hanna " if still there should no be allowed around children. she is a toxic adult and may even cause harm if she is able to continue to work with children in the way she chooses. very sad and stressful experience. period.

I also don't think any school is perfect. I think I have high expectations but wouldn't say I nitpick so the fact that I'm giving primrose 5 stars says a lot. I have had a toddler here since July and an infant here since September. This is the 3rd school my toddler has been to so I have experiences to compare to. He was at Goddard for 3 years and young hearts for 5 months prior to me moving him to primrose. I think primrose exceeds at the opportunities they provide for their students. I'm impressed with activities like the testing they do, holiday concerts, parents night out, trunk or treat, etc. The infant class teachers are exceptional. I don't leave my baby with anyone but feel safe and comfortable leaving him with Hall, King and Verdugo everyday. The love and care they have for my son makes my heart happy. My son also smiles when he sees them which feels great when dropping him off before going to work. My oldest has Leyva and Mirenda and I know they have their work cut out for them with pre-k students. They do a great job providing a balance of structure and care for the children. My son loves school, his friends, and always hugs his teachers. They keep me in the loop on his behavior and we work together on how to make sure he is thriving. They provide snacks and lunch which is a nice weight off the parent's shoulders and allows for more family time so you don't have to pack anything. All daycares are expensive but for what they provide, I feel like their prices are reasonable. One time they accidentally gave my breast milk to the wrong family and while I was of course disappointed, I appreciated how apologetic they were -- mistakes happen. I felt bad for how bad the teacher felt. The also replaced our bottles which was very appreciated. Overall, I'm very happy with our choice to send our boys here and recommend them!

From the time she started at age three until she aged out of the program, she was surrounded by a warm, family-oriented environment where she was encouraged to be herself, grow in her faith, and build meaningful friendships. Mrs. Rachelle, Ms. Marie, and every teacher she had along the way made a lasting impact on her life. Their genuine care, patience, and dedication created a nurturing atmosphere that felt like an extension of our family. Not only did my daughter thrive academically and socially, but she also developed a deeper relationship with the Lord and learned important values that will stay with her for years to come. The greatest testament to the positive experience she had is that even though she has aged out of the program, she still wishes she could attend every day. That speaks volumes about the loving community the staff has built. If you are looking for a preschool where your child will be known, loved, encouraged, and supported, I wholeheartedly recommend Great Beginnings Christian Preschool. We will always cherish the memories and friendships made there.

At first, I was a little nervous about the bi-lingual curriculum (I don't speak Spanish), but it has been great. They emphasize independence, self-control and curiosity. Most importantly, they model the behavior they want the children to learn. Manners, respect, and care! The teachers are excellent, personable and patient. The care that they put into the curriculum is outstanding. Each activity is arranged with thought and purpose. My daughter is encouraged every day to pursue what she wants to learn, and persist until she has mastered a skill. She does art, Kindermusik, yoga, and works with physical materials that are preparing her for reading, writing, and math. She is also learning to master practical skills like buttons, lacing, washing, and pretty much everything! She also plays outside. I also want to mention the emphasis on health here. The snacks are healthy, and they expect you to pack a healthy lunch for your child or use the meal service. But also they teach the kids table manners, food preparation, and how to approach eating as a "meal" activity that is bonding rather than just a "break". I know I already said it, but I really love this place! They really try to engage the parents in what they are trying to accomplish, and want to really know your child so they can best guide and teach them. This place is a gem!!

I'd like to add that if you have had a different experience with this school and the five year old classroom than what my son and I had to endure, that is great. I would never want any child to be treated maliciously, so if you are a lucky parent and she was nice to your children, I am genuinely happy for you. I am speaking from my own experience with this teacher, and my experience was and is still valid. She is lucky I am being vague about what my child had to experience with her as a teacher. I as a parent am writing this review out of genuine concern for every child that enters this school's well being. Beware of biased reviews from friends of teachers at this school who do not have the children's best interest at heart, and instead are leaving reviews to help their friend's egos.

It's saddening to see a review that talks illy about the 5's teacher. I hope that if you read that review, then you also read this one as well. Great Beginnings has been nothing but a pleasure to be apart of. Day in and day out, I know that the people in that place are filled with light and God's glory. Their intent is to raise up a child in the ways they should go, "Proverbs 22:6. Train up a child in the way he should go;". There has NEVER been a moment where I did not trust or depend on a GB teacher to guide my children accordingly. Specifically, Ms. Mandy has prepared 2/3 of my kids for pre-k and has done nothing but a wonderful job. She has challenged them, loved on them, and prepared them to know what to expect in Kindergarten. (And I'm not sure if you know what the education system is like nowadays but it's ROUGH). Realizing that there are moments where she needed to be tough to ensure that my child would be successful was apart of my job as the PARENT. I knew for a fact that she had no ill intent. She is HIGHLY qualified for the job, as both of my boys are gifted in Math. Let me echo this again, She knows what she is doing. I have recommended countless families to GB and will continue to do so. Pleasing everyone in this world is impossible. But, I can vouch and say that GB is one of the best places you can bring your child if you're looking for curriculum that is filled with the truths of God and love of Jesus, teachers who know what they are doing and enjoy it, and a place that you can trust.
