The male nurse at the check-in desk made him feel as if he didn't belong there because he didn't "look sick." When my family member got to the back, he was given a breathing treatment and was left in the room over 20 minutes after it completed. He also told the healthcare provider that he hadn't eating in over 10 hours and they still proceeded to give him medication that needed to be taken with food. When he got back home, he was vomiting all over the place. When he got his diagnosis, the male nurse (same person who checked him in) was surprised! He shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover. Just because a person doesn't look well does not mean they don't feel well in their body! Again, he was made to feel as if he just wandered in there off the street. We have wonderful insurance (even if we did not, it shouldn't make a difference b/c healthcare providers should treat each person the same). This family member is a college student in his senior year and needed the help and what does he get? Mistreatment and prejudice! I told him to not visit this place again; at least not on the 3rd shift. The people there obviously didn't want to do their jobs! High reviews? How? I'm very concerned for my family member to get care being so far from home while in college. THIS is why I worry because of people like this! Shame on you, "Total" Care.

Changes medication without explanation. More interested in meeting the target numbers for various blood tests than in the patient's actual health. Does not listen or is dismissive of patient questions and concerns. Will not be returning after 3 visits. Office demands patients arrive half an hour early to fill out absurdly involved paperwork each visit, including a mysterious request for power of attorney. Then the appointment time passes and no doctor for half an hour or more. Lab personnel very nice and accommodating. Nurses polite and friendly.

The Senior Health Clinic at Lewisville offers both! Dr. Chaudry is extremely knowledgeable in the area of geriatrics. My mother's previous doctor never got her blood pressure under control and after seeing the doctors here, her blood pressure is finally OK! Dr. Chaudry also has a great bedside manner and way of relating to her patients. There have been times when my mother went to her appointments and was very angry about not being able to live as independently as she used to and after seeing Dr. Chaudry she left much happier. Thank you, Dr. Chaudry and the rest of the staff at the Senior Health Clinic! (I wrote an earlier review that I haven't been able to delete, but the billing problem was resolved and my mother received a full refund. Also, there are no more problems with prescription refills. "Today Clinic" was on a "recommended" sheet as supposedly affordable for those with a very low fixed income and no insurance. What did I get? A 5-day supply of one medicine. Seriously. So expect to wait an hour, even when there's only one patient ahead of you. Expect to spend about $100 and leave with the same issues that you had when you came in, save for the minor amount of medicine. I wouldn't return here if I had an arm dangling from my shoulder.

Was initially admitted and discharged after the Dr managed to diagnose me with "gastritis" and offer me Motrin. He failed to mention my pancreatic cyst had doubled in size. When I came back 2 hours later in excruciating pain he told me "I'm not a pharmacist go get your drugs somewhere else" I'm currently admitted across the street at Denton regional with a "horrible case of very obvious acute pancreatitis " The rest of the staff was amazing and the facility is clean. Dr Patel, when he isn't sleeping is not only rude but he's unable to properly treat people with serious sicknesses and accuse you of seeking drugs for an extremely painful injury. The ER doctor diagnosed pancreatitis and prescribed pain meds and discharge. I rejected that diagnosis and waited for Dr. Caldwell to arrive. He got to the hospital about a half hour later and had a different diagnosis, a heart attack. A heart cath revealed a 99% blockage in the LAD and I had a triple bypass the next day. He literally saved my life. I cannot recommend Dr. Caldwell highly enough.
