The interior is not your typical church design but there is plenty of seating , large stage and you can hear the sermon and music loud and clearly .I actually had a good time and everyone seemed to be happy to hear the Lord's words and music . Plenty of parking outside and easy to get to by car , glad I came as it was a very uplifting Sunday morning , Praise the Lord and 5 stars on my yelp meter . Hallelujah.

It has a Hilsong NYC church vibe to it, but in White Plains, the pastor is lively and sermons hit the mark. Love Love the worship, I do wish it were longer though, few more songs maybe. The worship team is pretty awesome. I just moved to white plains & the church's around here didnt do much for me b/c I didnt want same old, that just doesn't cut it anymore for me. AC helped bring me to life. If you are looking for an, upbeat, welcoming, real Christ centered church, regardless of where you are in your walk than this is the place.

Yes, it can, and St. Matthew's achieves this…read more Located in downtown White Plains and open all day for private contemplation, St. Matthew's is a beautiful church in the Evangelical Lutheran tradition. Their website states that they are committed to the "Lutheran version of the Catholic faith," and while I'm not quite sure what that means because I didn't attend a service here, the architecture is nothing that you wouldn't find in a Catholic church They've got almost everything here, including lovely artwork that looks like it was lifted from an Orthodox church. It's really a lovely space, and there is a definite sense of calm and peace here. With the busy world (OK, it's only White Plains), just outside the door, it's nice that locals have the option of stepping into this quiet haven of repose for some contemplation. They don't make churches like this anymore, and that's a compliment.
