I haven't been to a Chiropractor before so I was a little nervous but Dr. Ken Fuyuki made me feel comfortable and my first experience great. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He listened to my concerns and answered all of my questions. I came in with knee pain, hip pain, and I had frequent migraines. He's very detailed and thorough when explaining what my problems were and how we could fix it. It was suggested that I do a 6 session treatment plan and I'm so glad I did. I have recently switched chiropractors. I've been seeing my chiropractor for the last 5+ years but have been feeling like my body wasn't feeling any better like before. Some of the adjustments just wasn't as effective anymore. I found Dr. Ken Fuyuki through social media on a friend's story. I follow a few young and up and coming chiropractors on the mainland and noticed some of the effective adjustments performed on some patients and Dr. Ken seemed to follow similar progressive practices. I was interested in seeing if it work for me. I went to the trio health website and scheduled input my information and Dr. Ken called me back immediately to schedule an appointment. When I went to my appointment Dr. Ken followed covid guidelines and his office is very clean, modern and professional. The parking I had to figure out. You can either drive to the parking attendant and let them know you are going to Trio Health and you will be directed up the ramp to the 4th floor. The number of stalls are limited and quite narrow. The other option is to park at mall level and walk over. Or you can go up the mall parking lot and there's a connecting point to the 4th floor entrance to the building. My first appointment was an assessment and Dr. Ken asked a lot of good questions to understand what areas needed attention and to see what program would work best. He was very easy to talk to and had no judgements. I started my first session then and there. He used a combination of loosening tight muscles with massage, cupping, stretching, and breaking up the fascia. After that then he would perform the adjusting. It was comfortable and really felt a difference leaving from my first appointment. He also takes insurance so make sure to mention that on your appointment scheduling. So now I have 2 chiropractors at my disposal from the first two incidents where this chiropractor was booked, so I don't need a 3rd. Oops, Trio strikes again. I forgot the doctor scheduled 3 appointments out, so when I cancelled the night before the 2nd appt, he auto charged my card the no show fee. What a scam. If you're sooo busy you can't squeeze in a 10 minute acute situation at the end of the day, or follow up about scheduling it the next day, you shouldn't need my 50$, that slot should be auctioned to the highest bidder. read more

Now I don't have a debilitating injury, nor was I in an accident. But, the body takes a beating during the day from the normal routine of life and over time from lack of attention, certain aches and pains have manifested themselves. Never say never! After receiving chiropractic care over 10 years ago, I said I'd NEVER go to a chiropractic again! My appointments never lasted more than 5-10 minutes, consisted of frequent adjustments, xrays, and eventually becoming more symptomatic. I've been to many chiropractors and Dr Ken is one of the best. I have some scoliosis and always attentive to how my body compensates for the spinal curves. I often have aches and pains due to muscular imbalances, excess tension build up, and what feels like impingements in my neck and shoulders, especially when I travel or in times of stress. He has helped me eliminate an awful collar bone/shoulder pain in the past. He also helped reduce low back strain that flared up after sleeping in uncomfortable beds. I injured my mid back at work as a Registered Nurse taking care of a patient last year. At first, I went to all access ortho and saw an Orthopedic PA who told me to rest and see a Physical therapist. I rested and worked with the PT for over a month which helped me learn different exercises to minimize my pain and increase my strength over all but that initial dull/pinching pain in my mid back didn't go away. Next I saw a physiatrist hoping he could help me with my pain in which he did by sending me to a masseuse. Though overall, everyone helped my "back pain", it was seeing Dr. Ken that took away that initial dull/pinching pain in my mid back I had since I first hurt it at work. I am so glad I chose Dr. Ken for chiropractic care! I liked that Dr. Ken is not only a chiropractor, but also an ATC (Certified Athletic Trainer) so he knows the stressors on an athlete's body. During the initial phone consultation, we discussed my health goals at length, then I was sent a questionnaire to describe my condition in detail to help him better understand the specifics. This is a good way to start so you don't walk into the office cold and he can already be thinking about how to best assist you even before your first visit. My left shoulder has been giving me problems ever since high school (15 years) from a sports injury and I never thought that I would regain strength and feel comfortable again. After years of dealing with pain to my right ankle subtalar joint (bone on bone), I've lost muscle mass by incorrect walking, unable to grip my toes on to footwear. After trying Accupuncture, as well as Amnio injections to no relief. A friend shared Dr. Ken's IG on Foot Pain Anatomy as he held a skeletal foot explaining how to self evaluate where the pain was coming from. I called Dr. Ken right away and scheduled my first session. After he adjusted my foot, and did some measurements, I decided to buy the 12 deal package. Had a great experience visiting Dr. Ken. I saw him after seeing his helpful videos on social media and experiencing ankle pain in my right foot. After an analysis, initial treatment, and two follow ups with him, my ankle felt much better and I am back to the exercising on it. Dr. Ken helped me get my shoulder back in shape - I literally couldn't lift my arm due to an injury. I now can resume surfing and any day to day activities that require me to raise my arm. Highly recommend! I initially went in because of neck pain and frequent headaches and after the first few visits my headaches went away completely. I went to Dr. Ken for neck, shoulder, and upper back pain/stiffness. My experience working with him is that he is very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. I've had 2 sessions with him and each time he was very attentive so that he was able to target my problem areas. He later sent me some exercises to do at home to help with the stiffness in my shoulders and neck. His treatment really does work and I appreciate all he does.
