This company must be paying for their 5 star reviews on Google (and I would like to mention, that my negative review was deleted) because over the last month and 1/2, I am discovering more and more folks just like me, struggling with this Roofing company. The review by DANIELLE K. hit it right on target! My parents had a tear off October 1st and still do not have the metal on their roof because of poor planning and management. After the October 1st tear off, not one time did anyone from the company contact us that there was a delay with the material. After about 6 or 7 days of not knowing status, and since I have an extensive background in inventory and supply, I started tracking down the supplier myself, because no one in the office could produce a reason why the roof was not being completed. Also, would like to mention, took my elderly parent's INTERNET antenna off their roof October 1st ---------- and left them with no internet. I had to call and have them send someone out to resolve. One Star Is Too Generous - A Cautionary Tale About Tri-Peak Roofing (and Their Shady HVAC Sister Company) This company was an absolute nightmare to coordinate with. The seller of the home we purchased had used Tri-Peak for a reroof (thankfully, a permit was pulled with Hernando County -- the only thing they actually did by the book). After our home inspector flagged that proper ventilation had not been installed, we gave Tri-Peak the opportunity to correct their mistake. We proceeded with our home purchase in good faith, trusting that issues would be resolved professionally and completely. That trust was gravely misplaced. Every so-called "technician" we spoke to was unprofessional, dismissive, and clearly unqualified. Not a single one could adequately explain what exactly they planned to install -- red flag number one. After a frustrating amount of back and forth, they finally sent a crew to "install a boot vent." A boot vent. That was their grand solution to a ventilation failure in a vaulted ceiling. We were then told by the seller's agent that Tri-Peak had "fulfilled their obligation." Side note: we start noticing leaks in the ceiling the DAY AFTER PURCHASE. After removing the Tongue and Groove wood slats, we were horrified to find moisture, mold, insects, and serious water damage -- all stemming from improper ventilation. Tri-Peak's official stance? "Vaulted ceilings don't need vents." That's right -- they straight-up denied the need for ventilation, despite what any building professional knows is standard code and best practice. Fortunately, my husband and I both work in the construction industry, so we brought in our own trusted roofer. He immediately identified the problem and installed the ventilation system the home desperately needed -- a full ridge cobra vent, an off-ridge vent, and two turtle vents. Real solutions from a real professional. Then came the kicker: when we finally received Tri-Peak's warranty paperwork, it stated -- in writing -- that they had installed all ventilation, including the cobra vent they never touched. That's not just negligence -- that's fraud. If we hadn't caught this lie, and filed an insurance claim down the line, we could've been denied due to false records. To top it off, the seller also used Tri-Peak's "sister" HVAC company for the home's AC -- and surprise, no permit was pulled, as confirmed with the building department. Bottom line: Tri-Peak is shady, sloppy, and dishonest. The owner is running a bait-and-switch operation under multiple business names, cutting corners and putting homeowners at serious risk. Do yourself a massive favor -- hire a licensed, reputable company that actually pulls permits and does things the right way. You'll save yourself the money, stress, and the headache of fixing someone else's mess. read more

We contacted Tri Peak Roofing and they sent a salesperson out who gave us a quote. We met with the salesperson several times to select a roof type and receive a quote. We paid half the amount of the roof upfront by check and received a text message from Tri Peak providing us with a date the roof would be installed. Subsequently, we received three additional text messages giving us three different dates for the roof installation. We called (two times before reaching a person) to confirm the actual date. On May 22nd, at 6:30 AM, the roofers arrived and, without knocking on the door, climbed up on the roof and began replacing it. At roughly 5:30 PM, the roofers completed the installation of the roof and left without asking for the remaining half of the payment. No one knocked on our door to say they were finished, they just drove away. We anticipated someone from Tri Peak would come out and walk the work with us, but they didn't. Six days later we received a text threatening to place a lien on our house as well as foreclose on it. This is the text. "Good morning Jessica this is Landen the owner of Tri Peak Roofing. I have tried to reach out to you a couple of times along with my secretary and business partner to collect final payment on your roof. your roof has been completed for over a week now you've not responding to anybody at the office for final payment if we do not hear from you by the end of today 330 before our office closes we're going to have to place a lien on your home along with a foreclosure letter, i hate to do this, but we have no choice when you're not answering us. Please call me at this number or Nichole at the office. We're trying to get paid for the job we've done if there are any issues with the roof please notify us. We're starting to get a little worried." The roof was completed less than a week ago, and we had received no contact from Tri Peak about the remainder of the bill via phone, text, or letter until this threatening text message. read more

Fantastic company owners. Both Landon and Tyler came to my house and looked at my roof after Hurricane Milton. Landon sat down with me and went through my homeowners insurance and explained a lot of the process. They are also certified with GAF (which is extremely difficult to acquire) for roof installations using their products!
