The doctor at East Central wouldn't give my dog vaccines, even with my dog muzzled because he was afraid of my dog! We tried 3 different appointments (my son even went to a visit and held my dog while he was muzzled so it was easier for the vet) and the doctor was "too scared" to give my dog a shot at all 3 appts. We ended up taking our dog elsewhere for his vaccines and she got them done in a matter of minutes. Even when my dog was a puppy at his first visit at roughly 8 weeks old, the vet was scared of him. He told us he's more of a cat person! I understand that reactive dogs can be intimidating however, don't be a vet if you're afraid of animals! It was absolutely ridiculous. When we had to put our dog down, ECV was pretty cold about the entire situation, and it took over a month to get our pets ashes back!! I had to call them several times to follow up and get updated because ECV staff did not communicate. The entire experience with ECV was nothing but negative. I wouldn't bring my pets there if I was paid to do so.
