Poor customer service, they charge extreme delivery fees. Says its due to fuel cost but they've been charging same forever...doesnt keep information of customers and so you as a customer have to remind them "im in military" or "im a landscaper" you shouldn't have to do that. They should write it down. They are now harassing me via text message and its beyond unprofessional...rude when confronted about this issue... Price discount btw went from $268.98 down to $263.38.. What a deal! Not...do not use them.. You do the math online and expect to pay x amount, but then when you get charged at least $35+ more than expected. They charge a "service fee" for ordering from them also...$7.50 whats that for? Lots of excuses when speaking to lady who runs texting... Someone needs to fire her... It kinda makes me ill to even give these people one star. I ordered a 15 yard dumpster on Oct. 21 after visiting their website and expecting to pay around the $360 pricing they say they start at. On Oct 22 I get a confirmation email for a TWENTY YARD dumpster for $500 sent at 4:58 pm, right at end of business day. I write back the next day NO NO NO I ordered a 15 yard dumpster and they write back " no worries, the price is the same for a 15 and 20 yard dumpster."..... and no one ever discussed with me a surcharge on delivery because i wasn't in Wake County., supposedly that was the $140 difference in cost, but no one told me that before hand. So on October 23 I cancelled the order. AND THEY HAD THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME A CANCELLATION FEE!!!!!!! i go back to their webstie to read about " Rental Contract Terms and Conditions" on October 24th and sure enough there is nothing about charging any cancellation fees. I could see if I had cancelled 24 hours before, but not 6 full days before. They were supposed to deliver it October 28th. I had ordered it on October 21. I called for landscaping was told to fill out a form online which I did. No response so I called again (week later)and they said they would come by the next day but no showed on me. I had a huge job and I'm not demanding and easy to work with. I'm a business owner of 20 plus years. I'm straight up and honest and appreciate my customers but I do expect the same in return. I get if I have to wait or your too busy to take on new work. Communicate that. It seems some people have had great experiences with this business, unfortunately that was not my experience and the way I was ignored is a huge turn off and red flag. read more

I honestly must say Robbie is great, very friendly and accommodating. But the lady that works in the office collecting money is the opposite. I called her to ask to go over my invoices because it seemed like I had too many for the short timeframe that I worked with them. She started raising her voice saying we have GPS on the trucks but I was invoiced an extra visit that had to be removed. I would continue to be a customer of this company if I didn't feel like she was trying to indicate that I was trying to scam her or get out of paying a bill. I do not have an issue paying bills that I owe I have an issue when services do not align. Worked with this company for a few months. Prices were high, and service was adequate. Then they came when they were told not to, and after texting with the owner, and trying to square up the bill, had an invoice that was closed by them and I couldn't pay. I texted the owner about the bill, and received a text saying it was closed, and not to worry about it. I texted back affirming that we were then paid up, and moved on. Two months later, I receive a text from the owner demanding that invoice be paid. I explained what happened and that I had texted him about it. He responded with a very long voicemail that honestly I did not listen to, as it was obvious months later he was just going to keep claiming I owed him money. Honestly after two months, not high on my priority list to pay, when I was told it was closed. Then he shows up at my house last week. That is completely unacceptable. His invoice has now been paid, as his presence at my house was perceived as an intimidation practice when he did not get the response he wanted. The work they did was adequate at best, and he constantly would not answer texts and communication was difficult. Add to this the billing issues, and I would warn everyone to stay away from this business. read more

We just started using Triple R Landscaping, and after an initial cleanup on our yard, we are incredibly happy with the results! Robbie and his crew were amazingly fast and professional and if they had a question, asked what I wanted before working. They did a lot of work to clean up the front of the house which had become overgrown by unruly bushes and some beetle killed shrubs. After trimming the bushes and cutting back the trees the difference was unbelievable. The flower beds, after laying down the new mulch make the house look new again. I am looking forward to seeing how my yard continues to improve with their services. We have gotten compliments on how well the yard looks now. ***BEWARE*** We contracted Robbie for cutting our grass over a year ago. Everything seemed fine until we decided to ask for a quote for mulching and putting down new pine straw in our flowerbeds. Once we received the quote, I remember telling my husband the quote seemed astronomically high. I did some research and I found out the total for the materials, even after delivery, it did not add up to a quarter of what Robbie wanted to charge us. We decided to do it ourselves and we told Robbie not to worry about the mulch and that we'd only require his services for cutting the grass since we thought the price on the quote was too high. We even told him what the raw materials cost, he proceeded to tell us "Well, that's how I make my money lol". I obviously didn't think this was funny but I let it go and asked him to simply cut the grass and we'd take care of the rest. This seemed to obviously hit a nerve. We were home one day and we heard they were cutting the grass, I looked outside and I saw Robbie and his crew. I also noticed that they were taking a bit longer than usual but didn't think anything of it.... That is until we went outside the morning after. We saw that both of our grown birch trees had been tattered. We were in shock and decided to look at the recordings of our outdoor security cameras from the day before. Robbie had used a weed wacker to cut branches off of our trees. We also noticed that they had purposely blown all the grass clippings into our new mulch we had put down in our beds. We texted Robbie and told him someone took a weed wacker to our tress and he basically told us the branches were in his way of him cutting the lawn so he tried cutting them with a weed wacker since he didn't have "the right equipment" with him. He also said that he planned on fixing it next week. This happened during memorial weekend where we planned on having people over. I wish I could tell you this ended with us telling him that he took liberties with our property that he was not entitled to and that we no longer needed his service but we also got a text back from him. We were upset because he damaged our trees and our flowerbeds, we brought it to his attention and he proceed to call my husband a "F**** military tree hugger". Be careful because we are in the process of filing a restraining order against this man. If he thinks it's ok to purposely damage your property and think it's fine if he "fixes it next week", what more does he think is ok to do? read more

My wife and I bought our first home 4 years ago. Since we had never had to worry about taking care of a yard, we had no idea where to start. On top of that since it was new construction only the front had been sodded, and well, you know NC the back was a giant orange mud pit! I found Triple R by doing a web search, and I am so glad I did. Robbie has taken care of our yard for 4 years, and helps us improve it every season, when we can afford to. He has been so patient (especially that first year) with me calling and asking questions all of the time. He always calls me back, and always answers my texts. He gives me quotes for work I want to do, if it cost too much for me, he gives me other options. Some stuff I have decided to do myself. For example I couldn't afford to sod the back yard the first year. Guess what, he offered me so much advice and guidance as I seeded it myself and worked with me. He took as much personal pride in that project as I did, even though he didn't get paid to sod it. Without the amount of effort he put in to it, we would still have a mud pit! He has installed beautiful edging, and done great plantings in the beds he created for us. My wife loves what he has done! If you want quality work, and someone who will treat you like a friend, care for your home, and work with you, This is the company you want to go with. After 4 years our monthly bill is the same, and its worth every penny. If I could rate no stars I would. Be aware if you buy mulch or Stone from The Mulch Center on Cleveland School Road you will be shorted on the amount of cubic yards you pay for. I have a 7'6" by 12' dump bed with 2'3" rails. This comes out to 7.5 cubic feet if filled flush with the top of the Rails. Ordered 8 cubic yards of triple shred mulch 2 times, first time give them the benefit of the doubt second time watched how many buckets he put (qt 8) in the truck and they were very particular and trimming the bucket off every single time. Not even close to full up to the top of the rails on my truck and a lot dead space in the corners. They may think they're tractor has a 1 cubic yard bucket but I can tell you it does not and they are real particular about shaving/shaking it off flush with the top of there bucket. And also purchase 2 1/2 yards of crush and run and came up short on my spread. Won't happen again. Left a bad taste in my mouth so I decided calculate the actual square yardage of my dump bed and realized how bad I had got screwed, after the fact ofcourse. Not to promote triangle Landscaping, but when I ran short on mulch and I had to get another eight yards I decided to go to Triangle Landscaping they filled thr truck properly and if anything made shure it was on the heavy side. read more

The owner took an hour out of his day to go over the process of getting my yard in tip top shape. He explained everything in detail and I haven't been let down since.
