We converted two rooms plus a hallway into a master suite as well as split two large upstairs rooms into three. We had structural concerns and lots of logistics to work out and I wouldn't trust anyone other than Mike to draw up the plans to make sure everything is safe and up to code. Al oversaw the projects and was in constant communication with us and regularly was on site to make sure everything was going smoothly. If anything wasn't 100% correct or what we had discussed, he would make sure it was remedied. Big shout out to Franz who even showed up to work the day after his wife had a baby! The M3 team worked late days and on weekends (with our consent) to meet their deadlines, even when the county held them up with permitting issues they still worked hard to finish within our timeframe. We even made major changes to our plans after construction had begun and they were able to pivot and help us get more square footage for the upstairs bedrooms. There were also numerous curveballs that they handled with ease (ya never know what you'll get with an old house). This was our first time doing any sort of large project and the team at M3 gave us plenty of guidance and support to make sure the finished product exceeded our expectations. They tore off our old exterior stairs structure and siding, waterproofed the entire wall, and installed new siding and a stairs structure that is far superior to the old one. Their integrity and work quality are off the charts. The owner, Ahmad Khreshi, did thorough research before starting our well-planned project. I was impressed by his knowledge of current construction techniques and dedication to doing the job right. There were several problems that required Ahmad to think outside of the box, one being how to install siding under our existing power lines conduit which was mounted to the exterior wall at six different points. Several times, Ahmad's crew discovered water damage due to poor work by our developer. Ahmad was extremely flexible in adding repair of that damage into his work plan on top of the bid-upon work. Ahmad was kind and fair, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, kept us in the loop, worked with us on timing, and gave us a couple breaks. His crew was extremely professional and respectful, taking off their shoes when they had to come through the building and isolating interior work areas with plastic sheet dividers. When our project was completed, Ahmad send us the following. I've never worked with a contractor who followed up with an offer of help like this: "Remember, you can always reach out with any technical building related questions, in any trades. I'm more than happy to give advice and guidance on code matters or general best practices, even if you are hiring other people."

You can discuss design alternatives throughout the process. He listens and provides the pros and cons. He will go out of this way to ensure you are happy with the result. The name Fine Line Constructions speaks for itself. Blaine's attention to detail is amazing. He will spot imperfections and fix them before you even notice the problem. And on those rare occasions when you are not 100 percent pleased with the result, Blaine will address the issue without question. I am not sure what our next remodeling project will be, but when hiring a General Contractor our first choice will be Fine Line Construction.

Over the past year and a half they've masterfully completed several jobs for us, and we have them on the books for several more. They have dug out and installed french drains with sump pumps as well as repaired and painted walls, ceilings, and brickwork. All of these things were done expertly. But the most significant work they've done was to create, from the ground up, an addition to our house. We call it an addition, a sunroom, our new "hang out all day" room. A 14x16 vaulted ceiling with support beam masterpiece, the casement windows are all handmade with the finest craftsmanship and care. They spent hours, days and weeks measuring, sanding, staining, painting, glueing, nailing, and appraising. Perfection was the goal and it was accomplished over and over again. We were especially appreciative of the creativity and thoughtfulness with design and vision: Blaine especially was adept at providing the many options involved in all aspects of the job to choose from - such as tile material and color to stain shades - and then, when asked, gave his highly informed and relevant ideas and opinions. And when supplier issues and delays occurred as they always seem to these days they were undeterred and never rushed nor took shortcuts. They were always punctual, courteous, and up front with all details and accounting. Our cost overages were insignificant. We couldn't be happier with them and their work, and the end result was well beyond what we expected.

This company built our home in 2013. We must have been one of their first customers. The floor in…read moreour office is crooked. The walls are cracked at many of the seams- it is obvious there was not enough drywall mud used. The porch ceilings have huge gaps for bees to get up in there and nest. We asked for a larger space between doors and walls....didn't get it. We asked for a sink to be centered in the half bath....didn't happen. The house shakes when you walk from the hallway to the office...scares at times. The walls in the basement are cracked all over- another contractor advised us that Scott and Scott must have used cheap concrete. My bathtubs were all scratched- Pete fixed some of the scratches but the unused one had a scratchy footprint on the wall- throwing it away. Also, the tubs squeak when you get it and they are not set correctly. The faucets that this company supplied....we have already had to have work done to all of the faucets that they provided. Also, Pete told us that we had to use a single handle faucet in the tubs....we were advised by different plumbers that this is untrue. So, we have to have our tubs and plumbing in our bathrooms completely redone. We have to have our walls throughout the house redone. The screws on all of the windows are loose and stripped- [plan on replacing all of the windows. A main wall is twisted at the end.....can't miss it. It is unfortunate that we were left with what we have. I felt as if we did not matter and they rushed to get us finished so that they could move on to another job. That may not have been their intent, but it is how we felt.
