#bestbartenderever I have NEVER had this level of exceptional service with catered drinks that were allergen free.

We booked an excursion to Chankanaab Beach Park when our NCL cruise stopped in Cozumel. Tripping Cool was our host and did an amazing job. It was easy to find them at the pier. They gave us a color coded sticker so we could easily spot them in a crowd. There were still COVID protocols in place at the time of our visit and we forgot our masks on board and our host provided us extra at no charge. They arranged safe and comfortable transportation via taxi van to our Snorkeling trip at Chankanaab Beach Park. Once there, our hosts Angel and Adrian welcomed us as "familia" and explained the day's schedule. They did a great job of guiding us to all our activities so we could relax and have fun. We enjoyed the snorkeling (with all gear and 3 lifeguards provided), beach time, guacamole tasting, and sea lion show. There was something for everyone in our family. At the end they said goodbye, welcomed tips with no pressure, and sent us back to the pier. I would highly recommend booking an excursion or independent tour through them!

Tequila tasting with Paco was so fun!

A big shout out to all the guys and ladies there...Giancarlo, Paco, Chris, Armando, Adriel, Erik, JC, Tommy, Alvaro...every person on staff was top-notch. We had a beautiful and relaxing day.

We enjoyed a perfect day at a beach club with Tripping Cool, which we booked through Carnival. If you like water, drinks, and a chill vibe, this is an excellent choice. Carnival appeared to contract most of its shore excursions through TC. The advantage there was that Carnival takes responsibility for getting you back on board on time. A half day at the club (adults only) cost roughly $100 USD per person, which turned out to be excellent value. After getting off the boat, we were met at the end of the pier by TC staff, who were super friendly and spoke excellent English. Our group of 24 took a 15-minute taxi (cost included) to the club. The club itself was an oceanfront villa. It included a sandy outdoor lounge area with plenty of loungers, umbrellas, and hammocks, a small pool, a shaded patio with additional seating, and water access via ladder. The villa never felt crowded and for most of the time our group was the only party there. There was no beach, per se, as the coastline here was rocky, but that was clearly noted in the booking brochure and getting in the gorgeous turquoise water was simple enough. The booking was inclusive of food and drink, as well as snorkeling (more on that below). Massages were available for an additional fee. Tipping during the day was prohibited - all staff provided incredible service throughout - but you can provide optional gratuity at the end. We certainly did because of the fabulous service. No staffers ever walked passed us during the day without checking in and asking if we needed anything. We did the snorkeling as soon as we arrived, which was super fun. If you can swim and are capable of even modest athletic exertion, then you can handle this. Mask, fins, and PFDs were all provided, and were of good quality. The staff gave clear instructions and made us feel safe. We were in the water about 30-45 minutes and swam near the shore the entire time, viewing tropical fish, eels, rays, and starfish. The one note I'd make here is that TC is eco conscious, and asks that you not apply sunscreen before entering the water, as it damages the reefs. For what it's worth, we were there on a warm day with cloud cover and did not burn. We did apply sunscreen as soon as we got out of the water. After snorkeling came food and drink, which was both plentiful and tasty. They have a full bar, and the drinks were mixed quickly and from scratch. Daiquiris, piña coladas, and margaritas were all excellent. Lunch was fresh-caught grouper, and was among the best meals we enjoyed on our entire cruise. All water onsite was filtered and safe to drink - no need to bring bottles. There also was a brief and informative cooking lesson taught by one of the two chefs on site, who demonstrated a local sauce made from pumpkin seeds. We had time to chill on the sand, and then it was back to the ship. Taxis were again included and we were back on board with plenty of time.

We booked the Mariachi, Tacos, Tequila, and Shopping excursion through Carnival. Arturo was our guide. He got us to the restaurant where we got an education (and samples) on different grades of tequila. Then we had a traditional Mexican dance show and Mariachi band, followed by tacos for lunch. Oh, and samples of flavored tequila. After lunch we walked a few blocks to the shopping area where we were free to shop. We were then taken back to port. It was a real fun experience, highly recommended. Thanks Arturo!

We booked our excursion with them through our cruise line. After being disappointed with other companies, Tripping Cool was a much needed surprise. The service was exceptional, our guide Arturo was very knowledgeable and took time to check in with every one of us. Snorkeling in Chakanaab was amazing, the tequila tasting was fun and we even learned to make guacamole! Definitely booking with them again when we go back.

$15 to get the pics they snap of you in the water! So fun

Clemente was an awesome guide! We went on our stop in Cozumel through Carnival Cruise lines and couldn't be more pleased. Clemente was very organized which seems rare on cruise excursions!! He had a talk stick on his backpack with a giant green circle on it so we could track him through the crowds. He gave everyone in the group green circle stickers too so we knew who we all were- brilliant in the crowds of the Cozumel port. We did the snorkeling tour. There was a short van ride to get there. He had us leave in groups of 4-6 so we weren't crowded in our vehicles. Once there, he reviewed in detail what we'd do, safety instructions and helped people put on their gear. In the water, he and his assistant, Angel, helped us all see the ropes of the reef. We saw a couple schools of fish which was cool, some "Dory" fish, several other colorful fish and someone in the group spotted an octopus! Very cool. After snorkeling, we had a DELICIOUS and generously sized chicken fajita meal with homemade guacamole and chips! Drinks were extra but to top off the tour, we had tequila tasting. Clemente taught us what makes a good tequila and told us what brands to buy. We got quite a few samples and 50% off margaritas! Highly recommend this group! For $60, it's a serious no brainer.

La Familia and Yantar--Thanks for a fun afternoon!!

Click the link and you will see that they are no longer in business…read more I have used Tours Plaza multiple times over the years and always requested Gerry as my driver. Last November our stop in Cozumel was canceled due to the ship needing to avoid a storm. I contacted Tours Plaza and requested a refund as their policy stated "Full refunds will be given in the event that your cruise ship does not make port." They replied the following day, November 7, 0224 "Hola Margaret. We're sorry your cruise changed the itinerary, we'll issue the refund, you must receive it in the next 7 days. See you the next time! Kind regards". That was 5 months ago. I have never received my $233.20 refund despite repeated promises by Eduardo that the refund was being processed. On January 31, 2025 "Our clients are very important to us, I'll issue a refund right away, you should receive it in the next few days. I'll write to you in a few days in order to confirm this went through." Never happened. On 2/07/25 " Hola Margaret. The refund usually takes 7 day... We just checked the status and it's processing, you should see it at your account shortly. In any case we are monitoring the situation because our clients are very important to us! And your refund is absolutely correct. We'll write to you on Monday again, in order to check you received your refund correctly. Kind regards". Never received. He then pretty much stopped responding to my emails. I never received the refund. Today I receive an email from Tours Plaza regarding yet another reservation (upcoming) telling me that I will need to try and get my deposit back from my credit card company "Dear M, bad news, our site was been hacked and several reservations were deleted and money was stolen from us and while we investigate, and try to get back the stolen money from us, Tours Plaza is no longer online, please ask for your deposit refund at your bank or Visa Card. Best Regards Eduardo" I strongly advise against using this company. They can no longer be trusted. And that's a shame because they were my go-to tour guides for many years.

We met our driver KELLY at the assigned location and he was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. We knew ahead of time that we wanted between 3-5 hours of tour and had a couple of places in mind, the Chocolate factory & Tequila factory (both were very fun and educational), then over to the beach to just enjoy the coast. Kelly picked several stops along the way and made it real easy to just relax and have a great time. We were ready to go back to our ship after about 4 hours and had the BEST DAY POSSIBLE. Thank you Kelly for a pleasant, comfortable, and informative day. You made our visit truly memorable.

The shop is located in a neighborhood and not a tourist area in a small storefront. Nancy led our experience and gave us an interesting talk on chocolate and its history. It was really interesting. We then actually ground some "nibs" and made our own chocolate for hot chocolate. It was a lit of fun and we ended up taking our little medallion of chocolate home with us to try on some winter evening. Nancy also gave us samples of different types of flavored chocolate. They were just small pieces but by the time we were finished I think we had about 20 different chocolates. The tour is inexpensive and a lot of fun. As an added comment, we were on a cruise and the cab fare was about the same as a ride into the tourist area. This is not in a tourist area so you'll see where people actually live. Nancy will call a cab for you for the trip back to the ship or to the tourist area. Again, this was a lot of fun.

We asked our driver to take us to best chocolate shop in town and he took us to Kaokao. We were really please. We were greeted by the nicest ladies who walked us inside the shop. They also gave tours here but we were there strictly just to purchase. The lady behind the counter did offer us some samples. I had a lot of questions and the nice staff was able to answer all of them. She also knew all the ingredients in them and helped me choose what was best for me. I ended up getting some dark chocolate, milk chocolate, coffee espresso beans, and some other goodies. The shop was really cute and they had all things chocolate and more. They even had toys and souvenirs. But their star are their chocolates which are high-quality and made from the finest ingredients. They even had interesting chocolate flavor combinations. The shop should also be clean, well-maintained, and air conditioned. Pricing was also reasonable. I highly recommend if you are in Cozumel and want to stop in a good chocolate shop.

Don't get me wrong, I love learning some history and culture but it was a small van and sometimes I just wanted to look out the window without feeling the pressure to pay attention the whole time. It also got really political at some point and I felt a little awkward because I didn't know the other people on the tour and didn't know how to react, The guide also made some claims that I am not sure are rooted in any sort of facts, like that the cure for cancer is in Mexico...which, maybe I am ignorant but I had never heard that before. Loved the Don Tomas vineyard. It was beautiful and we enjoyed the wine! I wish it was longer, maybe if they included lunch at the restaurant or something that would have been nice. Could have spent the whole day there! Afterwards we went for a tequila tasting which I wasn't aware was a part of the tour. I think we got hustled a little to buy the bottles. We looked them up after we got back home and saw that some of these tour companies take you to these tastings and the tequila isn't legit. It tasted good but boy was it pricey. After that we had some time to walk around the town and shop. Our guide recommended a restaurant to eat at which was delicious, but didn't have a single fish item on the menu. He was talking up fish tacos so much and Ensenada being the home of the fish taco that we were excited to eat fish tacos!!! Why did he send us to a restaurant with no fish tacos? I was so confused. I jokingly confronted him about it and he kind of laughed it off. The shopping area was super touristy, nothing super exciting. A lot of the shops have the same thing. Overall, I'm glad we did the tour because it was a nice way to get out of the main tourisity part of Ensenada for a bit and see more.

Group meet at a vendor booth setup opposite the $RCL ship, and walked as a group into town. First Stop, the Fish Market to learn about the freshly caught fish, then a stop where we sat down and were served bottles of beverages, plus had a yummy Shrimp Taco, and explored a wide range of Salsas with in house made chips. Second Stop, a Confection shop with an indulgent number of sample sweets to be tasted and if wanted purchased. Huge platters of Fruit / Nut hand rolled sweets were tasted. Third Stop, Tequila tasting, more than a dozen sips were had across a wide range of tequilas. Tequilas tasted were across a wide range of price points and including flavored variations. Was a fun experience, liquor pours were sips so as to not intoxicate the group. Numerous bottles were purchased by the group. My favorite was the flavored Quita Penas. Fourth Stop, La Michocana for Mexican fruit popsicles, known as paletas, a nice stop to cleanse the palate. Fifth Stop, more Beverages, and a choice of 2 Tacos, that were really good, and at this point the Cruise Ship was again in view, but still a few minutes walk away. Overall a good value / experience, and a comfortable walking tour where our guide Angel watched over us, and smoothed over any language issues. Can happily endorse this excursion that is only available from this vendor via Royal Caribbean.
