    Leaving the pickup
    Sarah H.

We booked the Jeep excursion with lunch and Catamaran while in Cozumel on our 4 day Carnival cruise. The Jeeps were a bit old and worn down, but honestly, what else can be expected? That is what I would expect from a tourist vehicle in Mexico. It ran fine and I enjoyed the top down- so I had a blast overall. We were running a bit behind leaving the market area, which put us behind the whole tour. It ultimately ended up great because we missed the main catamaran tour, and ended up on our own private catamaran and snorkel instead. Alex (our tour guide) took us to some pretty beach spots, a Tequila distillery, and then we ended at Tortugas for lunch and the Catamaran. He was a lot of fun- fed us beers as we drove around the island, and then made us margaritas while on the Catamaran. Those free drinks made up for the kind of crummy lunch that was included and the way too sweet drinks at the resort. The Gucamole, chips and pico are on point though- so make sure you get those. Just don't expect the actual fajitas- there is a different "included" fajita plate that was not very good. On the boat, we were with Alex (different Alex from our tour guide), David (driver), and Marcos (photographer). They were all really laid back and fun. They helped us snag pictures on our phone and then also took some underwater pictures while we were snorkeling. Things weren't "flawless", but we still had a blast and would do it again. I would love to come back in Sea Turtle hatching season!

We went on the sloth/monkey and snorkel excursion in Roatan and it was the best excursion for the price!!! I had an awesome time holding the sloths and monkeys. They give u plenty of time to take pics with them. Then they take you out on a nice boat to go snorkeling. I had never been before and I am not a good swimmer, I was very nervous but the staff was really good. Out of all 3 stops we had on our cruise this was by far the best one and I will remember it forever! Highly recommend this company for any excursions!

Booked the Cabo San Lucas Deluxe Private Highlights Sightseeing Excursion. Our guide Gilbert was waiting for us once we got to port. He was very courteous and spoke English very well. We headed out to the first part of the excursion the glass bottom boat. My father had mobility issues as he is in a wheel chair. They were able to accommodate him with such ease!!! The only thing I can really comment about the boat trip is that is was STUNNING! We were joined by another group from our cruise for the rest of the excursion in a private van. Gilbert is very well informed of all the important locations as he gave us a quick overview. The glass blowing factory was a great stop. We watched the staff create some glass pieces live! We then headed out to the restaurant El Toro Guero in San Jose and the scenery during the drive was stunning. This restaurant has great food. I highly recommend the shrimp empanadas. We were not able walk around San Jose as it was raining that day. Overall, my personal opinion is that this excursion has the best value for your money. It is relaxing and very entertaining. Again, I cannot say enough to our guide Gilbert. He was very informative and he made sure we were back to our port on time. I will definitely book this excursion again when I am at Cabo.

Dune buggy tour in Cozumel. Thank you Santiago for a wonderful day! We hope to see you again on our next trip.

We were picked up from our resort right at 7 am and then we made our way to the Cancun Adventures office to wait for two other couples from other resorts. This ended up taking quite a bit of time, but thankfully there is a coffee shop next door where we got some caffeine and a snack. They did offer us cold bottled water and bananas on the bus (I would bring extra snacks because by the time we finished at the cenote I was starving and had to pay $6 for a small bag of chips at the cenote). The bus was pretty crowded with 12 people, and driving back into the jungle to the cenote was VERY bumpy. Be sure to take some dramamine if you get car sick! Omar was our guide and he was amazing. He told us about the area of Mexico we were in, and talked about the cenotes and what we could expect at each stop. Once we got to the cenote, we were offered a Mayan blessing, showered off, and headed into the cenote. They do not allow any photos or devices in the cenote. (They provide a locker for your stuff.) Once you get into the cenote they take your photos, which was kitschy and VERY expensive ($50 for one photo), but I get it's part of the tour. I absolutely loved the cenote experience itself - it was so cool to learn about and Omar's background in biology made it very informative. This part was about an hour, then you could shop a bit (they are pretty pushy but you can politely decline). Then we headed on to the snorkeling portion. I personally don't really love snorkeling, but it was fun to see the turtles! We saw about 4 or 5, but it was a bit chaotic with other groups everywhere. Then we headed to the beach club for lunch. This private beach was peaceful and the food was delicious. I personally loved the beef burrito. Mix the hibiscus and lemonade half and half for a tasty beverage. There are some areas to relax and changing rooms, so bring dry clothes to change into if you want. Pack a towel! Overall the tour took much longer than I was expecting, so be sure to plan for that if you have a dinner reservation or other evening plans. But I loved the experience and Omar was awesome.

Along the way, we stopped at the underwater museum, where we snorkeled up to some of the artwork, and took in the sights of bright, vibrant coral reefs and amazing fish. On board, they served up sandwiches, and sweets, and snacks. The staff was super friendly, and got through the drunk as touristas as fast as possible. They provided all the equipment needed for snorkeling. There were more people on board than expected. I'd say maybe 65 people on board each catamaran. It wasn't exactly a private tour.

An Unforgettable Tour Thanks to Rod and Limbert! I was lucky to experience a truly unique custom tour organized by Rod, the owner, and Limbert, our tour guide. From the very beginning, the service was impeccable--warm, personalized, and incredibly thoughtful. Limbert wasn't just a guide; he felt like a true friend welcoming us into his home. His knowledge of Mayan culture is outstanding, and visiting the ruins with him felt like traveling back in time--an educational and fascinating experience we wouldn't have had with anyone else. Swimming with the turtles was also absolutely out of this world. Limbert made sure everything was safe, smooth, and above all, magical. He also took us to amazing restaurants with authentic Mexican cuisine, far from the tourist traps and full of local flavor. Thanks to Rod and Limbert, my vacation was more than excellent--it was truly memorable. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover the Yucatán Peninsula with depth, authenticity, and a personal touch you'll never forget.

We then headed to a different location to switch vans (for some reason). The first van ride was a terrible experience. The driver was absolutely awful at driving--and was paying no mind to the fact that it was heavily raining. He was flying over speed bumps and going around corners at dangerous speeds, especially since the conditions were so poor. Everyone in the van seemed very worried about his reckless driving throughout the ride. When we got to the next van, the roof was leaking all over our shoulders and clothing, which then collected in a puddle on the floor of the van. It also looked like it had been in some sort of front collision. The ride to Coba was awful, however the tour guide was fairly interactive which somewhat made up for the terrible van. The ruins were great, I only wish that we got to learn more about them from the tour guide. It felt like we mostly just biked around the whole time and occasionally hopped off to look at a ruin. We then went to the cenote, which was nice, and then lunch, which was fine. Afterward, we went to switch vans AGAIN (for some reason). This one, thankfully, was not leaking, though its windshield was nearly shattered. We made it back to the hotel fine, but are very disappointed with the tour overall.

We were in the tour bus with people who had the lower cost tour and they got pretty much everything we did. It is an all day tour and a lot of it is a waste of time. They picked us up from out hotel at 7am only to drive us to a check in spot where we stood around for about an hour if not longer. Then we had to drive to pick up another group, then we stopped at a random grocery store to have a bathroom break. Then we drove to a place where they tried to sell us stuff and they gave us 25 minutes to look around a store. Lunch at this place was buffet style and terrible. Not to mention, the bag breakfast was a disgusting ham sandwich that a 5 year old could make with a juice box drink and banana. A complete joke for the amount of money spent. In addition with the premiere tour you are supposed to receive unlimited drinks on shuttle. The tour guide hardly offered drinks and we had to ask for water. Beer was offered at the end of the day and was only one type: Tecate light in a plastic cup lol! During a 10 hr trip, we were offered water twice. We got to Chichen Itza about 1pm and time flew, it felt like maybe an hour. Then we went to a cenote which was not the cenote they had in the pamphlet when they sold us the tour (at our hotel), it was nice there. The cenote had changing rooms, bathrooms, snacks, bar, stores, lockers and tequila tasting. Lastly, we stopped at a small town where we spent about 45 minutes walking around. Everyone was dropped off at their appropriate hotels. Try to find another tour, or if you take it, get the cheapest one, it is not worth the price. Maybe 2 hours of the 10 hr tour is interesting and the rest is a waste of time and the food is awful.
