Booked a tour for St Kitts island tour and beach. We waited in the hot sun for 30 minutes while the tour owner tried to "fill the bus" then waited on a hot safari vehicle breathing fumes of other vans for 30 minutes while we waited for 2 more passengers. Tour advertised complimentary water which the driver had no idea about. We were supposed to go to Friar's beach or Cockleshell ( both nice beaches) as advertised, driver took us to very small and rocky Frigate Bay where we had to pay more for chairs and it was hard to go into water since we did not have water shoes. Other passengers on the tour were charged $25, when we booked ahead and were charged $70. Of course at the end when I asked to speak with the owner to voice my concerns he was gone for the day. I will never use this company or recommend them to other cruisers. I tried to post this review on their website but they only seem to publish 5 star reviews. read more

Shore Excursioneer, the tour operator for our planned trip from Progreso Mexico to Uxmal Mayan ruins did NOT meet us at the port nor at the Duty Free area as per the contract. I even called the day before my cruise left to be sure. They lied! We had to take shuttle bus into town. No one met us there either! In small print, they expect CASH to be given not in an office but on the street for the balance of the account!! If you don't have it, they charge over 20% extra! The car did not comfortably hold 4 adults. The driver did not speak English. There was no tour guide at Uxmal as per the contract. We did not go to the agreed upon cenote and I still had to pay the entrance fee which they had already charged me. Horrible! Do not use this company! read more

First off the three Jeeps we had were barley in working order. Two out of the three had the check engine light on. The turn signals did not work and one speedometer was broken alone with the gas gage and seatbelts. We asked our guide if we could swap the tequila factory for the chocolate tour. He said it could be done for an extra fee. The guide was not much of a guide at all. He did suggest we stop at his "friend's" roadside stand for some refreshments. Not knowing it was a scam and was over charged for a smoothie. He said we could sit near the beach but it would be an extra fee. The beach side stand was littered with garbage from end to the other. The Souvenirs were over priced and they did not want to negotiate for any of the so called hand painted ceramics. The snorkeling was not very appealing either. He so called lunch that was included did not come with beverages. We paid $28.00 for water and some nasty tasteless pico the called salsa. The beach was very rocky and the my elderly parents could not get into the water. The huge rocks were very steep and slick. They did have a ramp was also very slick so they could not enjoy that part of the excursion. We were hounded by vendors every time we turned around. We asked our guid ti make sure we were back in time to do some shopping before or ship left. We had to track down our guide to get us back. The location the Jeeps was right in the middle of yet another one of the guides family members that wanted us to shop with them. The gif proceeded to give us a hand written survey and hovered over us until it was filled out. I sent my concerns to Shore Excursioneer and was brushed aside. I booked a Cozumel Jungle Jeep, Jade Cavern, Cenote Swim, and Snorkel Adventure Excursion with them, and the tour guide picked us up in jeeps that were not maintained well and felt unsafe to drive. Then the tour guide used our time to run some errands first before beginning the actual tour. He took us to a cavern on private property that was not the Jade Cavern at all. The "cenote" was a small pond. Then he took us to his friend's tequila farm, which was not part of the itinerary, and tried to sell us tequila. He finally took us to a beach to Snorkel and we left so late (despite our reminding him of our ship's boarding time) that we barely made it back to our ship on time! They guaranteed on time return in their fine print. The tour guide would not allow us to give less than 5 star reviews, so here I'm posting my honest review. We booked the Jeep excursion with lunch and Catamaran while in Cozumel on our 4 day Carnival cruise. The Jeeps were a bit old and worn down, but honestly, what else can be expected? That is what I would expect from a tourist vehicle in Mexico. It ran fine and I enjoyed the top down- so I had a blast overall. We were running a bit behind leaving the market area, which put us behind the whole tour. It ultimately ended up great because we missed the main catamaran tour, and ended up on our own private catamaran and snorkel instead. Alex (our tour guide) took us to some pretty beach spots, a Tequila distillery, and then we ended at Tortugas for lunch and the Catamaran. He was a lot of fun- fed us beers as we drove around the island, and then made us margaritas while on the Catamaran. Those free drinks made up for the kind of crummy lunch that was included and the way too sweet drinks at the resort. The Gucamole, chips and pico are on point though- so make sure you get those. Just don't expect the actual fajitas- there is a different "included" fajita plate that was not very good. On the boat, we were with Alex (different Alex from our tour guide), David (driver), and Marcos (photographer). They were all really laid back and fun. They helped us snag pictures on our phone and then also took some underwater pictures while we were snorkeling. Things weren't "flawless", but we still had a blast and would do it again. We booked an excursion for Routan little French key through this company. Thank goodness we only had to pay a deposit down, the final amt was to be paid when we met them. We found the meeting spot and waited over 45 min in case we were early. They never showed up! We tried to contact them on the numbers provided, over 10 calls, it was either busy or mailbox full. Lucky for us there was a taxi who recommended a place for us to go, drove us there and picked us up at the end of the day. Thanks to him it wasn't a total loss for the day. There was also another group that was suppose to have this company pick them up, of course, no show. I will never book with them again. It is scary when left to fend for yourself in a different country. The only positive that I can say about this company is that they did refund my deposit! read more

We booked an excursion through Shore Excursioneer for our return to Miami after a cruise. They say they guarantee a refund if you are unable to attend the excursion due to issues with the ship. (Please see below for their terms & conditions, directly from their eticket). This is completely dishonest, as when our ship was held up by US Customs (so we could not legally leave it) they told us "Too bad, this is not refundable". We have had to contest the charges with our credit card company as the company is completely unhelpful. This 'guarantee' is worthless & I advise you NOT to do business with this company. If your cruise ship does not visit the port of call or makes other changes that do not allow you to attend the booked excursion, SEE will guarantee a full refund. All changes must be communicated to SEE as soon as possible, no later than 14 working days after your booked excursion date. Please do NOT open a dispute or claim with PayPal for a simple refund process as you may be charged up to $80.00 in fees by the payment company or similar, it is much better to just contact us and we take care of you. read more

Booked online through google for a 5 night carnival cruise to Cozumel and Progresso. Did the full day snorkel and jeep tour and Cozumel and the flamingo/beach/pyramid tour in progresso for a group of 12 people. The price was the cheapest I found online and was met with initial hesitation since most of the reviews online are not good and we also needed to pay cash when we arrived. Everything went smoothly and would definitely book through the again. I presume the people that had good experiences probably just didn't spend the time to review. read more

We went on the sloth/monkey and snorkel excursion in Roatan and it was the best excursion for the price!!! I had an awesome time holding the sloths and monkeys. They give u plenty of time to take pics with them. Then they take you out on a nice boat to go snorkeling. I had never been before and I am not a good swimmer, I was very nervous but the staff was really good. Out of all 3 stops we had on our cruise this was by far the best one and I will remember it forever! Highly recommend this company for any excursions! read more

I understand the reviews. This company is definitely hit or miss and unfortunately for us it was a miss. Sadly this could have easily been corrected but greed! They booked our excursion with 3 other families. All 3 other families were on a different cruise and didn't arrive to the meeting place until 1.5 hours after we did. So we sat in the van just waiting. On top of that, we were scheduled to go to two different locations. They dropped us and told the rafting company to make our tour extra long because they had to take the other families to a different place. Then are second destination was cut short because we were out of time. It really wasn't fair of the company to book cruises that weren't docking at the same time on the same excursion. And the different destination was also not ok. A few other hiccups but these were the major ones. Overall, I wouldn't use them again. I rather pay more and completely enjoy my experience. read more

We toured Cabo San Lucas with Shore Excursioneer on December 5, 2017. The tour was good, the guide,Luis, was great. I would say the highlight was the glass bottom boat. We greatly enjoyed the glass blowing factory. One unpleasant happening with this tour which was scheduled and paid for as private was that the sales person near the dock tried loading additional passengers aboard our van. Wish I could give half a star. That would only be for how easily they take your money. Booked an "excursion" to 7 mile beach in the e cayman islands. Did not see until after booking in very small print this was for transportation only. Upon arrival the facility had never heard of this company. We were told they would pick us back up at 1pm.......30 mins later no way to contact driver we ended up having to pay for a cab back to the port which for 3 adults and 1 child was only $15. That is a whole lot less than the $25/person I paid for a 1 way ride. After being burned that day I prayed the playa Mia day would be a better experience as I did not book transportation through this company. The cab ride their was only $17 for the 4 us. Upon arrival the facility charged my card for the balance owed and them asked me to sign a waiver. After reading said waiver it stated we acknowledged we would not go in the water as their was a red flag and their would be absolutely no water activities. Had they given the option to cancel and get my money back I would have been very happy. NO they waited until after they took my money to tell me this info. If I wanted to use a pool or go down the 1 water slide they had open i could have stayed on the boat and had a much cleaner and more rewarding water slide experience. After contacting Shore Excursioneer they informed me that there was nothing they could do as playa Mia lied and said we used their facilities all day. My child basically walked down the water slide and got in the pool for 15 mins and then we left. DO NOT EVER BOOK THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!!! read more

Booked the Antigua- Ffryes-all-inclusive-beach-break. According to the receipt and document the balance due at the dock was $70 and the paperwork stated the balance can be paid via Credit card - Visa. We were all lined up ready to go and when the guide came around I showed him my ticket and handed him my Visa card. He said "ooh we don't take credit cards only cash, yet the booking ticket clearly states Visa is ok as payment. So here we were, ready to leave had to hand over $70 cash or we couldn't go on the excursion. Luckily I had the cash; went on the beach break but the documents need to be revised to explain forms of payment more clearly. read more

Booked the Cabo San Lucas Deluxe Private Highlights Sightseeing Excursion. Our guide Gilbert was waiting for us once we got to port. He was very courteous and spoke English very well. We headed out to the first part of the excursion the glass bottom boat. My father had mobility issues as he is in a wheel chair. They were able to accommodate him with such ease!!! The only thing I can really comment about the boat trip is that is was STUNNING! We were joined by another group from our cruise for the rest of the excursion in a private van. Gilbert is very well informed of all the important locations as he gave us a quick overview. The glass blowing factory was a great stop. We watched the staff create some glass pieces live! We then headed out to the restaurant El Toro Guero in San Jose and the scenery during the drive was stunning. This restaurant has great food. I highly recommend the shrimp empanadas. We were not able walk around San Jose as it was raining that day. Overall, my personal opinion is that this excursion has the best value for your money. It is relaxing and very entertaining. Again, I cannot say enough to our guide Gilbert. He was very informative and he made sure we were back to our port on time. I will definitely book this excursion again when I am at Cabo. read more

We just returned from a 8 day cruise. We booked all our shore excursions through Royal Caribbean except for Cozumel. We really wanted to do a dune buggy tour and with the guarantee of return time we booked though Shore Excursioneer. I have never been so impressed. The meeting place was very easy to find and there were people near the entrance of the hotel to show us where to go. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. We were in a small group with only one other couple so it was like having a private tour. Our tour guide Santiago was extremely knowledgeable! The drive along the coast was breathtaking! This day was hands down the BEST day of our vacation! This was our first visit to Cozumel but definitely will not be our last. We will continue to book through Shore Excursioneer for all ports of call. read more

Shore Excursioneer is only a booking service with local contractors. Any good service is a reflection on the tour provider not Shor Excursioneer. We have used them several times with no issues but our most recent trip to Grand Cayman 1/2019 was different. Another guest had a serious medical emergency and our boat had to return to shore and cancel our trip. The tour company returned our money and said they would contact Shore Excursioneer to notify them of the situation, SHORE EXCURSIONEER WON'T RETURN OUR DEPOSIT. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. Buyer beware: in our case they did not deliver what we paid for and customer service during and after was non-existent. We booked a private fishing charter for our cruise stop in Cozumel. We got to the designated meeting spot 40 minutes early and waited and waited. The instructions said someone from the boat would come find us and by 15 minutes after the meeting time no one showed up so one of our party went looking for the boat. There were hundreds of boats and we could not locate. At 3o minutes after meeting time we called Shore Excursioneer and after multiple long holds and requests from them to once again walk up and down numerous docks we were finally told, sorry, the boat was double booked and left with another party. What? Our whole day was ruined because by then it was too late to get another excursion (not that they offered to help find one). When we got home I emailed them three times asking for a refund of the $750 we paid, an explanation of what happened, and reimbursement of our taxi to and from the fishing pier and other compensation. They never responded. Finally I got through on the chat feature on their website. Our money was refunded promptly but they would not reimburse the taxi without receipts. Who get receipts from a cab in Mexico? Just stupid. If I ran this company I would reimburse the $40 just to show good will. They offered a $100 credit but ONLY on the same fishing boat in Cozumel. We're not going back to Cozumel any time soon, and if we did we certainly wouldn't book with the same company or boat. No one ever explained how this happened. Long story short: buyer beware. We will never book through Shore Excursioneer again and urge others to proceed with caution. read more

Day in Aruba - The crew was fantastic and made sure we had a good experience with the sites. The boat we were on had great access for those who are of a larger stature (heavier) and easily accommodated our group and gear. We were able to fulfill our desire to see turtles in their natural habitat and the sunken ship was really interesting to see. If you have a problem with an excursion booked through Shore Excursioneer that warrants a refund they will only refund the small deposit paid to them directly. They won't address your problem with their excursion vendor nor request/assist you in securing a refund for the amount you paid their vendor. The amount paid to the their vendor represents the vast majority of the excursion cost. The amount you'll be paying directly to their vendor is referred to as "balance payment" in the below response email. I was given the site for shore excursioneer on multiple Facebook cruise groups. They came highly recommended by the people in these groups. I am sad to see the low reviews here on yelp. I booked Mr. Sanchos Beach All Inclusive Day Pass Cozumel with them. I was sent and email confirmation with instructions and they were cheaper than the actual resorts rate. It was all very easy. Well I got on my cruise and the itinerary gets changed. We were due to arrive in Mexico a day earlier. When I booked with SE I selected a specific date. At the time I had no access to the internet so in my head the deposit we paid was lost. The day before we got to Mexico my husband upgraded his internet package and we had an email from SE with our new date for Mexico. We arrived at the resort and paid the rate agreed and no issues. I don't think SE was required to adjust my reservation but they did. I really appreciated it. I will definitely use them again. read more

Terrible company. Booked an ATV excursion in Cozumel. When we got there, they had cancelled on us. Left us stranded in the street. When we called them (from the street), they said it was their fault, they couldn't help us and then they hung up on us. Their answer to the problem was to HANG UP ON US!!! read more

I recently booked an excursion with Shore Excursioneer that required a $40 deposit and the rest payable when I arrive. This is pretty standard practice. I later changed my mind about the choice and requested a refund via email per their instructions. A couple days later the full amount was back in my paypal account. This is a very legit operation so if you see an excursion you like don't be afraid to deal with this company. They have good customer service. read more

Try another company. We purchased a shore excursion and five days later as we were about to leave for our cruise we received an email from Shoreexcursioneer the tour is sold out. They didn't not provide an alternative or any information on what excursions are available. One would think in these modern times, basic internet sites would be able to tell if a product is available when booking and paying for it. Letting a customer know five days later the product is sold out and not even provide an alternative shows poor customer service and poor processes by the booking company. read more

Who do I need to speak with regarding this horrible service Due to the ship docking on other side of island we were met and told to stand over there (in the sun) and wait, we did. The groups were assembled and boarded the buss where we spend a 20 min ride into town, expecting to head down to the beach for the ride, instead we were then ordered off the bus and into a different buss (felt like a hostage exchange being ordered around) no air and very unfriendly, now were driven yet an other 15 min further to the marina to finely get the Jet Ski Rental place, while standing there trying to get ready and fitted for vest and fill out paper work and being told no locker put your things in van and we are getting ready there walking down to the water... (rushed, rushed, rushed that's how it felt) The guide on the Jet Ski was great gave us the do and don't and off we went had a blast we returned to dock was rushed to board bus (barely time to go to the bathroom) the original buss driver then took us back to town for shopping and dropped us off and said we could shop and grab the returning buss to our ship when were done, DIDN'T HAPPEN we shopped and starting looking for a buss and was told then we had to pay cash for a cab back to our ship, thank god we had some cash on us or it would have been a 2 hour walk back Real crappy for the bus driver to tell us this or pull this on us We wont be back to this again, who refunds our cab fair after paying for a ride twice Thanks We only got a partly refunded for this horrible day read more

Buyer Beware! We booked an excursion for 14 people in Roatan. I confirmed before we left the US. When we arrived in Roatan, the tour operator told us that Shore Excursioneer cancelled the excursion. We were left on the side of the road with no excursion for the day. When we arrived back in the US, I contacted Shore Excursioneer. Their customer service people refused to discuss over the phone. I was told to email. The response I received was we are sorry for the inconvenience, but it was the tour operators fault. The tour operator has since provided us with Emails confirming that it was Shore Excursioneer who cancelled our excursion. I have emailed 2 more times without response from Shore Excursioneer. This could happen to anyone who books with Shore Excursioneer! We had a large group of 14 people and cash to pay the operator. I would never recommend booking with Shore Excursioneer! read more

We went to Mr.Sanchos beach club in COZUMEL....we got the romance VIP package service was awesome and the massage was great. We will be back in December!!!! We also visited the Silcer beach in Progresso everything was great here, but I have to give it 3 stars due to the Guide Bianca leaving the meeting location EARLY and not on time...so we had to pay a 20$ taxi cab fee....when we got there Bianca continued to say that she left on time and not early...which was not true and Bianca's coworkers at the port meeting place told us this. After a while Bianca finally came to us and stated that the other patrons were tired of waiting...which made no sense because again WE WERE ON TIME NOT LATE....AND BIANCA LEFT EARLY it does not matter who was complaining about waiting everyone paid there money for this trip and they could have at least waited for the allotted time frame instead of leaving early. I believe that the transport bus was so small and it had already filled up and she decided to leave and again if this was the case they should have gotten larger transportation too and from the beach. read more

We used Shore Excursioneer for our 2 "tour" activities while in Cozumel, Mexico. We always check online for our activities and obviously the best prices. This company came recommended by our friends that went on a cruise to Cozumel and used them for excursions in Roatan, Belize and Mexico. We were looking at SNUBA Diving and their Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Tours and had loads of questions which were answered very professionally. I need to say that we were impressed by their customer service. So we booked both activities and had a blast! I am sure we will book with them again, everything went smooth and exactly as expected. Don't use this company their garranty means nothing. First stop Belize the tour operator said we got their to late and wanted us to pay 3 times the amount to do the activity. We ended up stuck in port with nothing to do. Next stop Roatan. We were taken to a beach and our guide said they would not leave and would wait while we swam and had lunch. We told them we wanted to return to the boat at noon. At noon we looked for our guide and they were nowhere to be found and their car was gone. At 1pm we called for a taxi and had to pay an additional 30 to return to the ship. Below is the email I sent to Shore Excursioneer expressing my issues with my trip. They denied my request for a refund then changed the description of the excursion and tried to tell me that was how it was when I booked. Luckily I had a printout of the original description. This company is horrible, do not use them. To Whom it may concern: I recently booked with you and took a shore excursion in Ensenada Mexico for the ATV/Zip line tour. I was extremely disappointed with the excursion. First off all, your website photos and description of the tour lead customers to believe that there is a nice scenic trail ride through trails, rivers, and sand on the beach. This is far from what the trip actually is. Once we got there, we were informed there is no trail or beach riding and they actually do not allow the ATV on the beach. In fact, the trip consisted of a 45-50 minute one way ride on city streets and highways to the zip line destination! This trip was extremely dangerous riding a non-street legal ATV in high pace traffic with big rigs and fast moving cars. If I would have known that the trip was going to be like this I would have never booked the ATV ride and would have taken the $3 round trip bus ride to the zip line tour. I feel I was cheated out of my money and did not have the fun experience that I signed up for. I believe I am entitled to a refund for this misinformation and bait and switch your website led me to believe how this trip was going to be. I took many pictures and video of our dangerous ride on the streets if you need me to send them to you for proof for my refund. Well, unfortunately it was not the beach. The ATV's did not make it near the beach, though we did have fun in the hills. Not exactly what we had in mind. Half of the excursion is driving through the city to get into the hills. The horses do not actually get down to the beach. You ride along the path beside the sea wall. Again, not what was advertised. I was really looking forward to playing in the sand, but what I got was an ear full from my girlfriend. She did not like the hills and canyons. Oh well, my recommendation is to save your money and do another excursion. There are taxi's which will wisk you around the city for pennies.
