Well, I liked this place so much, I came back again. Ordered a few things for lunch: al pastor and steak tacos, pork and cheese pupusa, and aqua fresca. Not sure what flavor the drink was but it was dark red and very good. Didn't taste like anything I've had before, and it was very refreshing. By the time I got home, the tacos kinda dried out, but the 2 sauces (green and orange) helped quite a bit. Pretty good amount of meat although no pineapple in the al pastor. The pupusa was good too; reheated that in air fryer to crisp it up some. Would definitely return soon to try a torta or quesadilla. read more

Revuelta pupusa needed some seasoning and salt. The cabbage that came with it was nicely marinated and tasted great with the pupusa. This review is for their brick & mortar location, as I haven't had a chance to experience their mobile taco truck. I came here with a friend after they showed me a TikTok video of this place, lol. I've probably driven by a dozen times, but didn't actually notice where it was until I placed the address in my GPS. It's definitely one of those places that can be easily missed if you're not actively looking. On the plus side, they do have their own small parking lot in front which wasn't too crowded when I went. The interior is small. We decided to dine in because we ordered a bunch of things. There aren't many options in terms of seating other than the counter space at the front window with a couple of stools lining it. Everyone that came in while we were eating got their food to-go, so I'm assuming that's what most of their traffic does. The register to order is right when you walk in & they call you up when your food is ready. There's a small sink by the entrance to wash your hands if you are dining in, which came in clutch. As for the food, we tried the steak nachos, beef birria tacos, and some chicken tacos. The tacos were on point! They definitely didn't skimp on the meats and everything was full of flavor. My favorite out of everything I ordered were the birria tacos. They oozed with cheese and the corn tortilla was perfectly crispy. I wish the consommé that came with it was a little bigger, but it was still very flavorful. The nachos were alright, my only gripe about it was that the jalapeños tasted pickled/from a can, which was a slight turn off. However, even with that being said, they were still sizable and definitely enough to share with others. Overall, I'd come back to get more tacos. For me, it was worth the trek there. read more

Chris Robles has brought his Food Truck to my fall party for all our employees for the past 4 years. Everyone loves walking up to the window and ordering exactly what they want. Many come back for seconds! The food is piping hot and delicious, with homemade sauces and pico to go with everything. The addition of beepers after ordering was great! After advising friends about sub par food and service, some friends went to thi place to get food. Not only were the tacos cold (I did not eat) but the friend who did eat got sick that same night. I visited the other evening and it was a bit hard for me to find. Luckily there were a few flags that said "TACOS" and other items to let me know where to turn. Parking is available around the shopping center. The store has 2 tables with 2 chairs each, and a bar-like table area with more seats. So seating is limited, I was ready to take my stuff to go but luckily another patron finished their meal and a table was available. The staff were friendly and the food came out pretty quick! I got the al pastor mulita, a steak burrito, a horchata, and a tamerindo. I've never had a militia before, and it's basically like a mini quesadilla. It was cheesy, gooey, and had the right amount of protein in it. I typically only get cheese quesadillas, but dang was this amazing with the al pastor. On top of that, the burrito was so good! I felt like the steak was cooked so well, that it basically melted in my mouth. My first bite, I was puzzled because I couldn't feel the steak but tasted it. So in my next bite, I made sure there was steak in it before I took the bite, and the same thing happened. There was no tough chewy texture when you get overcooked steak. AND the burrito was hefty with all the filling evenly dispersed, so there was not a single bite of just rice or cream or cheese. The horchata is good and was nice to have as a nice refreshing drink along all the dairy. It was also my first time having a tamarindo, which tasted kind of like a tamarind lemonade. I love this food truck! The food is fantastic. I've has the lengua tacos (several times), and a steak burrito. The lengua is succulent and some of the best I've had. They do thick, fresh, handmade corn tortillas made to order. Mmm. The burrito is definitely big enough to be your dinner and your lunch the next day.
