She asked for my insurance and even looked up the coverage, etc. for all our options. After a very short, about 7 min wait for my 6pm appointment, I was in the examination room. Dr. Hong was very quick, efficient, and thorough. I was out of there in no time and had my prescription for contacts and eyeglasses. I ordered my contacts right then and there. Prices are pretty reasonable, but I guess that depends on your insurance. Very quick (but not rushed service) They offer appointments and have lots of options for frames. They have a room in the back where they have lots of machines, probably for adjusting the frames on site. The man who was helping out a woman with her glasses was very friendly and polite. I will probably come here if I ever end up getting glasses (I'm a contacts person). Only downside is that the place is a bit...well...old. The chairs seem like they've been here since they opened, and the back machine room/storage room is easy to see while walking to the examination room. Other than that, the place is pretty nice. There are magazines and some children's toys in the waiting area. Pretty new magazines too it seems, which is nice.

The best part is I can normally get my glasses the same day, in about a couple hours. Never had an issue with my glasses unlike other less expensive places in the mall. This time however they needed to order lenses for me. As long as I can remember going here they have always had lenses in stock and there was only ever a 2 hour or less wait. Luckily I don't need the glasses right away, so no big deal, but it would have been nice. All in all, great place. If you appreciate good service and a decent price, then this is the place for you!

WELL, God answered my prayer. I called and scheduled an eye appointment with Brenda who was so delightful and pleasant (a real people person). Then I met with a very helpful and kind young lady who took the time explaining the best and affordable options for my frame selection and lenses. Then I saw Dr. Angelo who came in with an extended hand and a smile as she went over my paperwork. She was so patient and thorough giving direct eye contact with a genuine concern for my wellbeing and she answered everyone of my questions. I kept the name of the store in a note for when I was ready. I didn't renew my glasses for a long time and finally decided it was time. The shop is small but choices abound. I was greeted warmly, though they were busy with other customers. I noticed that Nicole greeted everyone who was there or who came in after me by name. I told her what I was thinking of trying. She welcomed me to try on anything and everything. And so I did. There was zero pressure. Nicole helped me with fit and size and I narrowed it down to a pair I fell in love with. Nicole was busy but she checked in on me often. Nicole will tell you if a pair of glasses isn't for you - which I really appreciate, because it's a big purchase! By the way, Nicole learned my name early on and used it. This is not something you see much these days. I felt welcomed to be their customer. I selected my frames and Nicole told me about their upcoming vacation, not sure if they would have them ready beforehand. I wasn't in any rush, but I did learn that they make the glasses in-house, which was nice to know! My glasses were ready in just a few days. When I went in to pick them up, I was greeted with, "Hi, Megan!" My glasses were beautifully made. When I tried them on, I was a little unsure because they didn't seem like the right prescription - I had waited too long to update my Rx! Nicole assured me that if they didn't feel right and my eyes didn't adjust, they'd remake them within 30 days. My eyes adjusted in one day and I'm thrilled with my new glasses. The staff at the front desk was super friendly and happy to take a look, even though this wasn't a normal appointment or purchase. Dr. Moon was great. The screws on my old metal frames were incredibly tight, but he knew exactly what to do. He loosened them up and carefully transferred my lenses into the new frames in just a few minutes. What I thought might turn into a hassle ended up being quick and easy, and I appreciated how patient and professional he was. The whole visit reminded me why it's worth going to a good local optician. Because of how helpful everyone was, I definitely plan to come back later this year for my annual eye exam and to get new frames and progressive lenses through them. It's nice to find a place that treats people well and pays attention to the details.
