I would love to give a 0-star review if possible…read more I contracted YayVisions to install an in-ground basketball goal, including excavation, concrete work, and assembly. The manufacturer specified that the installation required a 20" x 20" x 48" deep footing using 22 bags of concrete. I reviewed these requirements with the contractor beforehand, and they assured me the installation would meet the manufacturer's specifications. When work began, they had only dug approximately a 2-foot-deep hole before I needed to leave. Prior to leaving, I specifically reconfirmed that they would continue to the full 4-foot depth, and they confirmed they would. About five minutes after leaving, I checked my security camera and saw they had already begun pouring dry concrete into the hole. I immediately contacted them, and they claimed they had already dug the hole to 4-5 feet deep. Given the timeline, that explanation was clearly questionable. They then sprayed water into the hole, set the anchor plate, and left shortly afterward. When I returned home and inspected the work, it was apparent the installation had not been completed according to the manufacturer's specifications (the footing wasn't even square and the anchor plate wasn't anywhere close to centered). Before escalating the issue, I independently evaluated the work by calculating the approximate footing volume based on both the amount of concrete used and the volume of excavated dirt. Both calculations indicated the hole was likely only around 2 feet deep. I contacted the goal manufacturer, Mega Slam, and they advised me to first give YayVisions the opportunity to correct the issue. Unfortunately, instead of addressing the concerns, the company repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. They stated they used only 8 bags of concrete and claimed that amount was sufficient, despite the manufacturer explicitly requiring 22 bags due to the size and weight of the basketball goal. The manufacturer confirmed the installation was inadequate and could create a serious safety hazard, including the possibility of the goal failing or tipping over. Ultimately, I hired another contractor to remove the original concrete and reinstall the footing correctly. This process also confirmed the original installation was significantly undersized. The actual hole measured approximately 13" x 17" x 25" deep and tapered to a point at the bottom -- far from the required 20" x 20" x 48" square footing specified by the manufacturer. I've attached photos so others can evaluate the workmanship for themselves. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. The work did not meet manufacturer specifications, required complete replacement, would have resulted in a serious safety risk if not corrected, and raised serious concerns about both workmanship and honesty throughout the process.

NIGHTMARE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The 2 guys that showed up to move my belongings argued…read morethe entire time (while carrying my belongings) and at one point I thought that they may fist fight (while moving my 70" flat screen TV). It turns out that they were related and the regular guy that worked with the local on call moving companies was not available that day so he "let" his brother work in his place. The "brother for the day" had to leave halfway through the job to pick up his girlfriend and her kids...which was fine with me because I wanted them gone!! I used Maple Street Movers from a brochure that was in the lobby of my apartment building downtown and since I was moving one block away from where I lived I thought I would give them a try . Even the apt maintenance guy assigned to oversee the move and operate the freight elevator for the building witnessed what I was dealing with and offered to get management to walk them off the property but I got concerned that not only did they know where I lived...they knew where I was moving to... so I wanted to keep the peace as best that I could. Needless to say the apartments immediately discarded all the brochures for the company. The manager said he sat out the brochures because they owner of Maple Street Movers (Courtney Alexander) had attended a recent Downtown Resident Council Meeting and he wanted to show support for another downtown business. Needless to say, my belongings had damages and I offered the company a VERY CHEAP settlement to compensate for the NIGHTMARE (since they charge UP FRONT for their services) but they decided to pay an insulting amount instead so I filed a complaint with the BBB to warn others of their practices (which they ignored responding to) and I filed a small claims court action against them to get a refund of my money (based upon their advertisement that I received via email stating a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE if not satisfied with their service). I found along the way in that Court process that they had their KY (not Ohio) business filed with the secretary of state with a mailing address of the Staples office supply store in Florence KY. While trying to serve the Complaint it was returned not able to be served so I had to refile it using an address for the company name that charged my charge card for the services (Alexa Corp) also owned by Courtney Alexander in the state of Ohio. To date I have refiled the case over service issues from refusing to sign for the Complaint (even with a paid Court Bailiff). The Nightmare continues......I am writing this review after reading another posted nightmare kind of review about this company. I apologize for the length it has taken to make my point, but, I am warning you that you will not have a good experience if you use this company. I will NOT give up pursuing them because it REALLY was THAT BAD!!! Call D & R Movers or Two Men & a Truck...it is worth paying the little extra for professionals that care!!! Not sure why my city and state is appearing like I am in CA...most likely a computer protection thing that I have on my computer....So, I want to confirm that I have the RIGHT company and the City that I had the services provided in is Cincinnati, Ohio.

I had to ask them multiple times to keep theor children from running around my home. So NO 2 men for 199. They immediately charge your card. Also during the move my marble table was broken and he promised to pat for 50% of damage cost. Haven't heard from him since. I would not recommend him and his girlfriend at all. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and doesn't reach back our.
