My trip was delayed so I went to Triumph for an avocado toast. They used to be so good. Crusty soft bread, avocado, feta, pea pods, and some kind of vinaigrette. Did they change ownership? No longer has the vinaigrette, so might as well cross the street and get bread and avocado at Nature Fare. The reason I am writing was the avocado spread all over the bread was not just green but black. The last thing I want is to get sick. So I showed the person who made it, and she said it was fine. Sorry. But it was not. If she had cut a new avocado, and remade, or refunded me, I would not be writing this review. read more

Finally, we have great coffee in Vernon! Perfectly roasted beans, exquisite cappuccinos, and friendly baristas. Awesome large space, lots of tables (the owner said there's seating for 65 people!) They also have a meeting room you can book in the back. Don't miss the food: I tried an eclair and a cinnamon bun and they were both amazing. They say they'll be offering sandwiches soon. read more

I just wasn't feeling this place. I don't find it comfortable to sit in or spend a lot of time relaxing. One time when we went, they only had one size of coffee and it seemed a little pricey. The next time we went, our drinks were lukewarm. The baristas really didn't make any real effort to make sure our experience was good. I don't even think they smiled. I get what they are trying to do with their decor - hip, trendy, minimalism, spaciousness - but I'm afraid, from what I've experienced, it really attracts people with young children and strollers, so much so that it can be quite noisy and chaotic in there at times. It's just not my first pick for a coffee shop. read more

I recently read the reviews on triumph coffee house and was excited to try the new establishment. Walking into the establishment was refreshing, the decor and set up was open and inviting. Unfortunately I was immediately dismayed to look at the bakery goods displayed. Only Three choices of baked goods were presented .... And none of the items looked intriguing or delicious to try. As I looked at the coffee "menu", I was also disappointed to find the choices limiting .... And expensive. My final selection was a cold brew coffee which came in a very small cup for a staggering $3.25..... Which is moronically inconsistent that a burlap bag of beans picked up the grower in southern countries is $5. I guess thank god for free trade, but no defiantly no thank you for the experience at triumph coffee house. read more

I've become a coffee drinker again because of this place. Damn it! I also love their quick lunch menu. I've had their quiches with salad, roast beef salad, the muesli and yogurt, the cookies. The quality of their drip coffee even impresses me. The decor is hip and urban. The magazines are hip bicycle/ urban planning kinda stuff. The music is not radio....thank you, thank, thank you. This is not only my favourite coffeeshop in Vernon, but it has the best tasting coffee I've had anywhere in the Okanagan. I've been a pretty hardcore, exploratory americano/espresso drinker since the mid-1980s, hunting down and trying the locals' favourite coffeeshops everywhere I go. As of today's date, Triumph is an all-time, top-10 coffeeshop of mine. The flavour is truly superb. read more

A solid coffee shop, good coffee, but too spacious (read sparse) inside. I've read other reviews that praised the large open space as family freindly (lots of room for kids and strollers) and I can totally see that. But for me, I like my coffee houses cosy with a touch of personality. While the staff and the product here are great, the wide open space makes it less inviting as somewhere to hangout IMO (but again, completely respect the family angle). read more

I got a veggie wrap yesterday to go and it was so delicious. The wrap was chewy and veggies weren't dry the wrap had lots of sauce. My friend loves their pulled chicken sandwich. I love all of their coffees but usually get an Americano. Their website is so easy to use and online ordering is the best thing that ever happened to me. Triumph nailed it during covid. A lovely third wave coffee shop. If you're a fan of Starbuck's signature sugary drinks then this may not be for you--you'll find their drink menu limiting. But their coffee is EXQUISITE and served just the best way to actually enjoy coffee. Their baked treats are also very nice. Last summer I tried some local (I think Pentiction) ice cream that was spectacular. read more

Excellent Cafe. Very roomy, bright, and beautiful modern design. Cappuccino was perfect. Using Elysian beans when I was there but they said they change it up. Bonus of spotless bathrooms, and really friendly staff! Makes the coffee taste that much better. read more

Great little spot in Vernon! While visiting from Calgary, I had a latte and my husband had a London fog. Both were great! Friendly staff and I LOVE the long tables (lots of room for computers, books, or a bunch of friends) and lots of plug-ins for laptops which is always a plus in my books. Pretty disappointed with this coffee shop. Since school started, I've been treating myself to the occasional latte, collecting punches for each latte. When I go to collect my free 11th coffee, I'm told I can only have drip (which I don't care for). I can't believe they would do that - the customer should recieve the same type of coffee they were paying for, not another product because it only costs the business cents. I had spent $55 dollars on 10 lattes, more with tipping each time, and the owner refused to give me anything other than drip - costing less than $1 per cup - and that's a generous overestimate. The policy is not posted anywhere, not even on their punch cards. I will never go back. read more

Went here with a friend yesterday, barista was unpleasant and messed up both of our orders. When my friend confronted her on her error she acknowledged but did not fix. In the end both of our drinks were mediocre and mine ended up not being decaf like I had requested and I was up into early hours of the morning. Very disappointed in this customer service as my friend and I had both been quite pleasant to her. read more

Coffee here is done perfectly and the baked goods are delicious. Had an americano and the toast with jam and cheese and topped it off with a mint Nanaimo bar. This is our family's favourite coffee and breakfast place. read more
