Very cute experience. There really isn't any parking, but if you go up the road a bit past the bridge, there's a turnout to make a u turn. You can theoretically pull over and walk down for photos. It's free and cute. Kids would love it.

Okay when i saw this on the map I thought it was a small bridge and then I saw it and was in shock. This spot is clearly a spot people stop for, even though there is not much of a place to stop, and was surprisingly on the road to our airbnb we were staying at. It is a free little spot to stop and there are no signs you will just see if when you get there because it is a bridge covered in troll dolls! It is said that when you visit you should leave the trolls a gift or something so when we went back the second time to actually get out and see it and not just drive past we brought 2 little hershey's kisses we had from the wedding. If you are looking for a super quick fun little spot to see of a bunch of colorful dolls in the middle of green tall trees then give it a shot - it only takes a couple of minutes.

Quick and easy cute stop. Me and my kids even brought our own troll.. forgot to bring something to hang it with lol but thankfully we found an area for him.

Upwards towards the bridge, some trolls cling to the upper framework.

The Troll Bridge is a free, local flavor attraction in the Portland, Oregon area heading west. There aren't any signs for it but it is indeed in maps and the Yelp coordinates are accurate for it so no problem there. It was a fun stop but spent just a few minutes here. It's a collection of different toy trolls all placed under a railroad bridge it would seem which is pretty cool. All kinds of these toy trolls are placed all over the underneath of the bridge where the road goes underneath the bridge and they go up fairly high as well. Despite this being a fun stop it pretty much qualifies as a " one and done" situation but that doesn't mean the landscape of the make up of trolls doesn't change and there could be a pull to return if some troll of an unusual sort that would pull me back here to admire. When I posted pictures on my Facebook account of this bridge I stated " Portland, Oregon where magical fantasy and the Pacific Northwest collide. Even the trolls have their own bridge to live under here". Which has a great ring of truth to it.

Fun little gem off the road under the trestle bridge. We were given a bag of trolls and read about this stop in a local article and thought what a great place to repurpose them. Thoughtfully someone has left a bag of zip ties for attaching your troll, but as space has become limited I suggest bringing a stapler or some pin nails. Cute roadside attraction for kids into trolls for sure:)

Stopped by this road side attraction. It's a quick fun thing to do if you're near it.

Ummmmmm. Big disappointment. Train trestle was cool, but I thought it was an actual bridge. It's just a drive under the train kind of thing. Not what I expected.

Trolls anyone??? This is one of the most coolest bridge I have ever seen.. a bridge full of troll dolls.

A quick and fun thing to do while in Portland. My daughter enjoyed the Trolls and had a fun time. Its about 20 min north of Portland and a quick thing to stop by and see it.

This place is so magical! I love it, I have my own troll collection and got surprise driven down here to check this out! So weird and fun, had a lovely visit with all the trollies. Must stop near Portland!

Ok, this is fun and silly and I wish I had shown up with a troll to add. Some wonderful soul left glue, nails and string for your creative pleasure. There is something playful and sweet about this bridge. Bring a friend that could use a spiritual lift or a child that needs a little magic. Another reason to love Portland.

Besides participating in Yelp Talk, Trolls live under bridges (see http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=The%20Troll). On MacNamee Road, underneath the old wood-piles railroad trestle, people have 'affixed' troll dolls to the boards and painted some others (very well done art), forming a colony of Trolls on the boards (see pics). How were they 'affixed'? From a city that has VooDoo Donuts, I guess that explains some dolls with a stake(nail) through them. The bridge is made from the old round creosote wood pilings. There is plenty of room to put troll dolls on other structures, but the panel seems to be the only gathering spot. Perhaps they like basketball and like to hit the boards (their team: Portland Troll Blazers). Rumor has it that if you look too long and miss the sharp curve just ahead, the trolls will dance and cheer. (note: the mapping does not handle the address right. It is located 15 minutes northwest of Portland off Hwy 30. Use Google Maps and look for the railroad running parallel near 30.)

We went with her 3 year old, and honestly, I think we had just as much fun as him. Every room had something different to see or interact with, and it felt like there was always another surprise waiting around the corner. The mix of lights, art, music, and creative exhibits made it easy to lose track of time. One of my favorite areas was the Secrets room. You could step into a phone booth, record a secret, and then hear anonymous secrets playing through the giant speakers overhead. Some of the kid-submitted ones were absolutely adorable and had everyone smiling. The biggest hits for our group were definitely the interactive light rooms, where the lights seemed to react to your movement, and of course the giant rainbow ball pit. Watching everyone dive in and immediately turn into kids again was pretty entertaining. We also checked out the gift shop on the way out. I ended up grabbing a magnet, a postcard, and a few stickers that I thought were really cool. And I have to mention this: I was oddly happy to find out there was an actual hopscotch game inside. After walking through the whole experience, I was starting to wonder if the name was just symbolic. Nope. There was hopscotch, and it made me laugh. Overall, we had an amazing time. It's fun, colorful, interactive, and works just as well for adults as it does for kids. If you're looking for something different to do in Portland, I'd definitely recommend checking it out. For us, it was absolutely worth the price of admission.

You can walk around with your drinks and explore the different rooms they had. You can even take a break and grab food- once you get in your time there is unlimited! One of the best rooms was the Secret Garden. This is where you stand under a cloud like dome and hear secrets from people who have recorded them from a month or two ago. They have a recording booth within the room and you sit there and confess things. Then it plays it back after a couple of months to make sure you remain anonymous. The secrets we heard were gnarly... Won't repeat any, just go there and see! That was probably the best room we went into. The other rooms were super cool, which included a ball pit, infinity room/light looking room as well as a semi-bouncy room. Really interactive and creative space. Entrance fee is not bad for the type of space it's in [Around $22ish?]. Just don't be a jerk and be respectful of peoples' spaces. Not that anyone was disrespectful to us, just saying!

They operate on a card system, so no coins needed when you visit. My pinball wizard friend had been traveling arcade ready with coins in her bag, but it turns out they weren't needed. Ground Kontrol supplies free lockers to store your stuff; just follow the instructions and don't forget your code. I learned a lot about pinball during my visits here, and played more pinball than I usually do because of that. I mean, why not? I played one of the newest pinball games, released within weeks of my visit, which was Pokemon themed, and I played one of the more vintage pinball machines, Xenon. And everything in between! It was awesome. $20 loaded onto a card will get you 15ish games, but there is a different cost depending on which game you're playing. I was satisfied with the value and would, and did! come back again. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area! She and I chose King Pins. Well I technically chose them as the bowling was the least expensive in the area. And for us two, for 90 minutes, it was almost $70. Yes. That's EXPENSIVE. So we made the most of it and had a great time. We played with all the options in the bowling area for games and were silly and had fun. It was a last minute ask (thank you, dear child *eye roll*) that I was able to book at a preferred time in under a week, and the kids had fun, which is what mattered most! From start to finish, service was spot on: we were met by Coleton who walked us through the logistics & timing, as well as helped with some changes I requested due to attendance, and our server was Paige who made sure the boys never went without beverages. Pizzas came out quickly so the kids were able to eat & bowl, and everything was timed to perfection so they were able to sing to the Birthday Boy and enjoy cake before heading over for some Laser Tag & arcade time to end the festivities. It was also great to have a table reserved in the arcade area for belongings & whatnot, which also allowed some pitchers of beverages for the rest of the time. The space itself was immaculate and staff was buzzing around to keep tables turned over, bowling balls replaced to their rightful homes for future bowlers and the restrooms (at least the ladies!) were also clean (I know that can be a big deal for families, especially with Littles). All in all, I'd say this was money well spent, especially considering everything that is included in the package. For 7 total kids, I think they played 3-4 games of bowling, we did 2 laser tag games & their arcade time, didn't have to set up, break down or clean up party supplies/food, etc -- id do it again in a heartbeat!
