Look at this treasure at the end of the rainbow!

My husband and I have been bowling on league here for several years. It is a bigger bowling alley, however it is arranged in a manner that separates leagues from the party center. The staff is so friendly and attentive. Also, the brisk air from their top notch air conditioning is greatly appreciated on hot summer days. League bowlers get an assorted of valuable coupons every month, along with excellent bowling discounts. I don't want to forget to praise the pro shop, which has a great selection of reasonably priced bowling balls and shoes. Will did a great drop drilling our bowling balls!

I like this place for bowling and arcade games, but I have to say they have really good drinks. My group would come here just for the appetizers and drinks especially "la Cancion". Call me weak but after the 2nd one I have reached my limit. Service is always superb even when busy. Inside is very clean and always full of laughter. Fun place to go.

Created my own tacos from the South of the Border catering menu.

Thus far, I've only been here twice, and both times primarily for a work event. So technically I cannot review things based on cost and value. But so far so good, I'd say! Here's some info about this modern bowling alley called KingPins: : Parking Situation : Two choices, park in the front where the spaces are wider and normal. But keep in mind it's shared with the other shops and restaurants that it can get packed. Or park in the garage behind KingPins, only the spaces are crammed and NOT normal in size. It's like every space is compact. Or bring your Tesla and you can charge at a Supercharger. Which is also in the garage. :: Bowling Lanes & Layout :: From the main entrance, you immediately see the arcade area for the kiddos to go play. Give them a FunCard and they'll be on their way to insta-gratification! They even have a few VR games and a LaserTag arena. From the rear entrance, from the garage, you'll be in the general lanes area where anyone can reserve a lane. Besides the arcade is another set of lanes, in which they are primarily used for large groups or company events. I believe the bowling leagues play on this side as well. This side is better because it's also where the bar is, called TapHouse. There are plenty of tables and chairs, and for the most part they've been clean. ::: Food & Service ::: Thus far, no issues with service. At the counter where you borrow shoes, the staff behind there have been welcoming and helpful. As far as the wait-staff at the bar area, they too have also been pretty cordial. Regarding TapHouse and the food menu, in which I've only had tried what catered. They sell company party catering packages, and I gotta say the food really isn't that bad at all. The cocktail drinks however are super expensive. Two drinks easily $24 to $28, not including tip. Yep, a $13 average. Specialty beers on tap, about half the average. :::: Overall :::: KingPins is definitely "family oriented" in my opinion. Gone are the days of old stinky smokey bowling alleys. Keep your kids busy bowling or entertain them in the arcade. For the most part, I've had fun bowling here, and I really don't mind it here at all. This location has been open for quite some time, but it still appears new I would say. Service was pleasant, and the food/drink options are decent. Just be aware mixed drinks can be pretty pricey. Now go smoke a bowl!

Went here on a Saturday night with a group of friends and had a blast! One of our friends reserved two lanes ahead of time as Saturday nights can get busy. The atmosphere is fun, especially when the bowling alley turns into cosmic bowling. There is also a huge arcade room. We ordered tater tots, fries, nachos, and pitchers of beer for the entire group. The serving size is huge! It's typical food that you can get at a bowling alley, so no complaints there. Service was quick. The bowling screen was interactive and unique. All in all, it's a fun place with lots to do. A great spot for big groups, events, or just a fun night out for both adults and kids.

This spot is THE place for cost effective happy hour. Ironically we didn't go here for bowling or the arcade, literally just the happy hour, and I was very impressed. The drinks were reasonable ($4-$8 range), and the snacks were as well! Worth noting, it's a bowling alley.... So the atmosphere isn't exactly intimate. But it's not bad!

I was super bummed that the Minion Wack-A-Mole was out of order

I have said that I am not a fan of King Pins. I don't really like bowling on a timer. They did have a 23.99 "video" games, bowling and laser tag pass. I actually thought that we would have to pay for the bowling shoes, but turns out that they were included as well. That was a big bonus. We played a lot of pop a shot, Skee Ball, and my son and daughter did a few rounds of Lazer Tag and VR. We also bowled a couple games each. The video games are weak though. Understandable that due to the promotion no tickets or prizes were awarded...for video game enthusiasts I highly recommend Next Level Pinball Shop and Museum. Excellent value with in and out privileges as well. However there was value in this deal and we had a good time

We stopped in on a Sunday while visiting the area because we saw they had late night laser tag! They have a variety of different games, an area for drinks and bowling along with their laser tag. It wasn't too busy when we went, but you could tell people have fun here. We spent $8/person for each 15 minute session and got lucky (in our opinion) and had the whole laser tag area to ourselves. This meant every man for themselves and we had so much fun. There were targets to hit for points along with each other and they have an upstairs and a downstairs. We ended up playing two rounds and had so much fun each time. I won the first round and for second the next. It's always more fun when you win. My friends and I ended up playing some games afterward and didn't win many tickets but still walked away with some vampire teeth as prizes. We're already talking about going back before our trip ends, it was such a great time.

Thy lanes don't allow proper slide. It's dangerous for someone with proper bowling technique.

My organization has used Hidden Creek for several years now, and when we started working with them,…read morethey were adjustable and easy to work with. However, we had our annual event this year at Hidden Creek and the experience was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. First of all, they're very strict about anyone even entering the building before the time designated as the starting time. I don't expect them to open the doors of the banquet hall before the starting period that we paid for, but they wouldn't even let us in the building. They would not let us bring any of our materials into the building, and they told us we were not allowed to even unload our materials outside of the door so that once the door to the building opened, things would be unpacked and ready to set up. I was told it was a safety matter, but the materials we unpacked were not in front of the door, but well to the side of the entrance. They enforce those rules very strictly and in a manner that is not particularly friendly. Earlier this year, we held a different event at Hidden Creek, in other words different than the annual event I'm writing about, and they wouldn't even let us look into the room we had rented until the time began that we had paid for. They said that the room was down a hall we hadn't paid to enter, so we were not allowed to look in the room. The facility itself is beautiful, light, spacious, and well appointed. But that does not make up for their overly stringent regulations. For example, in the event I planned, we had to add some speakers to our program, so I asked if I could extend our time by half an hour so we could clean up in time. But they would not allow us to add time, even though I had made that request well before the day of the event. It was not a last-minute request, and, as indicated, I was aware there would an extra charge for an extra half-hour. So I thought we'll just clean up faster (which we did). But unfortunately, our caterers, who were P.F. Chang's, were very late in setting up the lunch, in fact, 45 minutes late, so we had to start our program late. But even with all of that, we worked very fast and managed to finish the cleanup by just half an hour after the time had expired for us to be there. They had no other event after us, and so we did not inconvenience them. Further, there is no indication on the papers that I signed before the event that there was a late fee if we exceeded the time we were in the room. All the paperwork says is that there's a $250 damage fee. But there was no damage to the hall. I'm not arguing that there should have been no fee for leaving the venue late, I just feel that when the total price for each hour is $150, and we reserved the hall for five hours, that it is exorbitant to charge $250. I requested a reduced fee, especially because our lateness was due to our caterer being so late, which PF Chang's recognized and compensated us for, but I got a solid No. They said the contract stipulates a late fee, but as indicated above, that is not true, it stipulates a damage fee. The director of events at Hidden Creek is lovely to work with. She has always done everything possible to make our experience a good one. And I do not hold her responsible for the stringency of the regulations. I am merely saying that the whole issue of charging so much money for being there 30 minutes extra to clean up, especially when the reason our event went late is because our cater was late, is unconscionable. I recommend selecting a different venue for your event unless you want to jump through numerous hoops only to be dissappointed, frustrated and overcharged in the end.
