But, the worst wasn't premiums it was customer service on a big complex claim. The staff offered little to know help on the claim. I was lost and frustrated, so I called Paul the owner. I wasn't out of pocket for anything. Within a week, even though the car was out of state, FB had the car towed, stowed, and evaluated and I had a more-than-expected settlement. Matt Harmon had a new policy for me as soon as I had a new car. I called Brad and Matt quite a bit during that time, and they were always eager to answer my questions and make sure I was taken care of. From the time I hit the deer to the time FB had a settlement prepared for me was a week! A week! And the settlement paperwork was extraordinarily detailed. It outlined everything that was impacted and would require repair, beyond anything I could've imagined. They gave me what I thought was beyond fair-market value for a car that had well over 224K miles on it. There was no haggling with impersonal adjusters. I've had a lot of insurance policies on cars before, but I've never in my over half-century of life have ever had such a pleasant and hassle-free experience with an insurance company. It was truly amazing. And no, no one is paying me to say this. I have no ulterior reasons or personal gain vested in this review. I'm just a happy customer who thinks that in our day and age of cancel culture and fake news, this little story was worth telling. No one asked me to write this review. First time using I had to wait 13 hours to get a tow service ON THE WAY to my car. Call center is not organized well, they often do not call back or text to inform on progress of towing. Leaving you clueless and just hoping they come. Using the road side assistance for help with towing to get to a car shop is considered a claim and using it 3 times in a year will get you discontinued. If you need long-term insurance would recommend looking somewhere else. Yearly insurance might do for some but except multiple complications with plans and changes randomly to your plan.
