I came into the shop (although almost everything could be done through email or the phone) and spoke to Mark in regards to what I was looking for (size, design, style, etc). I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! Beautiful Trophies but the owner Mark is forgetful, disorganized & has the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life! Ordered $400 worth of trophies and the guy didn't even write anything down nor take a deposit! Thought it was awkward so I sent him an email with all the details to have a paper trail. I never got a phone call the trophies were ready, but luckily I checked my email days before my event. When I arrived to pick up the trophies they were the completely wrong color! When I told Mark about his mistake, he immediately went to check the email I sent and noticed I was right. To make matters even worse, he never apologized for his crucial mistake and tried to rectify the situation by commenting with one of his original suggestions which was different color trophies for different shows. Although I liked his original suggestion, I never agreed to it and specifically ordered blue trophies for my first show! Well he left it at that and his wife proceeded to ring me up for the trophies. I kindly asked if I could possibly receive a discount for his mistake and he BLEW UP! The owner Mark started cursing at me and told me to take the trophies for free and never come back! Man I should have listened to him but being the calm nice person I am, I actually paid full price for something I didn't even want! Yeap I paid over $400 for the trophies even though they were completely wrong and could have got them for free!!! His wife was very kind and apologized for his behavior stating he was having a bad day. I told her well that's not how you conduct business and I don't understand why he's mad at me for his mistake?! So I took the trophies I didn't like at full price and the next day figured I better check each one of them to see if they made any other mistakes. Sure enough one of the trophies was completely missing the engraved plaque. I didn't want to go back and deal with such a rude unprofessional owner, but I had no choice so I sent my wife instead. Friendly, prompt service. I actually Yelp messaged a number of businesses to see if they could help with my broken Miss Massachusetts USA trophy. I received a number of replies quoting $20-$40, and two or three offering to fix it for free. Trophyman was the first to reply with a complementary quote, so I brought them my business...and I say business, because I had more to do than just fix it, for which I was reasonably charged. I was impressed by the shop upon arrival. They have soooooo many options for engraving for trophies and gifts. There was a little faux pas, very easily fixed, with how the trophy was put back together, but the place Is quite far from me with heavy LA traffic, hence the 4 stars.
