This store is OVERPRICED! They almost triple what they get their merchandise for. Most of the jewelry is off SHEIN and is cheap. I bought a bracelet, spent $189 on it. It was a gift for my mom. I was so embarrassed as I was told it was heat quality. Come to find out from a worker that it was purchased on SHEIN for $6.00. It broke three days after my mom had it on. Never again! I've spent years shopping locally to support community businesses, especially as so many have had to close. That's why I chose to shop here. However, I was really disappointed by the pricing. I purchased a small journal for $50 that I later found online for about $15. I understand that small businesses have higher costs, but this markup felt excessive and unfair to customers who are intentionally trying to support local shops. I used to love this place. Although it's overpriced and small I always support small local businesses. I recently bought a golden egg for $22 and it was full of the cheapest things. I was almost embarrassed for them. I went back for a refund because it was missing an item and the employee kept hesitating to refund me. Not even asking me if I wanted to exchange. She just kept mentioning it only had one item missing. I finally had to say, can I exchange? And she agreed. I looked at the jewelry knowing I had a $23 credit. I figured I'd just pay the difference and the employee says "you have $23!" Like okay, I know chill out. I finally find something and it's a $5 difference. I paid and left. So ridiculous I ended up with another overpriced cheap bracelet. Waste of time and money. read more

Angela, the owner is extremely rude and passive aggressive. I've been shopping here with my mom for years, since it's our local small business and we're in the community. I didn't know there was a no cell phone sign posted in the front, and she rudely told me to get off of the phone and humiliated me in front of two other customers and another employee. I was just going to purchase a gift for Valentine's Day and I didn't know about the phone policy. When I got off the phone, when I was browsing for the gift I was getting, she physically touched my shoulder and rudely said can I help you and told me I need to leave. I was so shocked by how passive aggressive she was and how she disrespected me and humiliated me in front of the customers and other employee who was also rude to me too, I just left and I will not be giving her small business my money anymore. They have everything from aprons & tea sandwich stands to mustache chip clips and microphone tongs. I was just in there last week and fell in love with the most adorable gift boxes. Each is filled with seeds for blossoms that attract certain types of wildlife. There was one targeted for song birds and another for butterflies. Actually, I know the owner and the single employee and I'm pretty sure they didn't write the first review, however tt is a really great little store all hyperbole aside, so why not brag about it? A wonderful collection of new and vintage items that are fun, whimsical and useful. I really want the vintage Tiffany blue stove/oven, but it would mean remodeling my house. Meanwhile, I loved the salt shakers and the aprons. Great little gifts you won't find anywhere else. The prices are very reasonable and the service is friendly and helpful. This is the best store in Calabasas, period. Calabasas isn't know for unique, hip, boutiques. Little Blue feels like a store you would find in Silverlake or Echo Park, not deep in the valley. I have a hard time walking into this store to buy a gift for someone else without picking up a little something for myself as well. The inventory here is rotated fairly often, so every time you walk in, you're bound to find some new thing you can't live without. If you are ever in the neighborhood, you have to stop in here.
