Customer Service - When I didn't receive the jewelry I purchased a few months ago they did nothing to try to resolve the issue. They basically left it completely up to me to find out why the usps never delivered the items to my home. I'd been a customer for years and spent lots of $$$$$$. One of the cutest little boutiques I have ever seen. I love all the bright colors. I came in to get some birthday cards because I love all their designs and I also love supporting small businesses. My favorite section is their baby section. They have the cutest clothes, toys, and books. The ladies who work there are so friendly and can help you find some great styles. This is by far one of the cutest if not the cutest boutiques in Los Angeles. Ladt week I came in to use a credit from a return I did. Sara was incredibly helpful in helping me choose a few great clothing items and a gorgeous ring that I love. She was kind, upbeat and just a joy to talk to. I love the variety of items they sell in here. There is truly something for everyone and Sara is the icing on the cake in an already outstanding boutique. I bought lover $2000 worth of gifts over the holidays. My husband also bought about a $1000. I went to the store today to return just $85 worth of items. I informed the seller that I am buying several hundred dollars more of stuff today. She would not let me return the unused items with tags on them and I had the receipt. She said returns from the holidays had to be made within two weeks. Never heard of a two week return policy. I had hoped she would make an exception given how much I had already spent and was about to spend. It's a neighborhood gift shop. I was disappointed. By the way, the items were not holiday themed. It was actually more love themed (make up bag with the word LOVE on it, fuzzy socks with hearts and warm mittens). All stuff which could be sold for Valentine Day which is in 5 days. I would love to speak to the owner. By the way, I spent so much at this store bc a friend had lost her husband to cancer and I was supplying holiday gifts to her and her children. They wouldn't have had any Christmas without the gifts I purchased at Kingfisher. And my friend's home burned down the next day, (such bad luck- roofers caused the fire!). I'm not sure I'll shop there again. I feel they are not very customer oriented, unless you are spending a lot of money! read more

I used to love shopping here at the old location over the years. I have bought many gifts for friends and family and loved the quality and selection of items they carried in their store. My husband, adult children and friends also used to enjoy shopping here as well and bought just as much as I did in the past. What I don't like is that the last few times I had gone in to purchase a baby gift and another time a birthday gift for a friend I was followed relentlessly around the store and constantly questioned about what I was looking for. It was very uncomfortable and made me want to just leave and take my business elsewhere. I still made my purchases because I did not have time to go elsewhere, but I would rather shop and support any other small business in Woodland Hills than this place anymore. They were much friendly when their business was smaller and more intimate. The sales associates knew most of their local customers by name and knew when to show them items that may be of interest and of their liking, but now everyone is treated as though they are shop lifters. I hope they return to their old ways of treating customers with respect and a little bit of kindness, but until then I will be shopping elsewhere as will my family and friends who have also experienced the rudeness over the past 3 years. read more

I'm always looking for gift shops, especially with unique and fun items. Kingfisher Road has books, scarves, lots of jewelry, candles, clothing, greeting cards, baby items, table décor. While it's a very small shop, and the aisles are narrow, they definitely pack a bunch of great stuff in there. I think my favorite items were the candles...... some really exotic but wonderful fragrances. I also really enjoyed the greeting cards. I had never seen any like the stock they carry, some with great sentiment, and others with terrific humor. Hallmark, move over. They also had a nice collection of cookbooks, one of which caught my eye in particular that specialized in cakes baked in coffee mugs. Really fun ! I actually walked out without a purchase, but I also wasn't in the market for any purchases..... Such a cute boutique! I am a sucker for stores like this. They've got jewelry, coasters, decorative items, keychains, scarves, trinkets, greeting cards...just a bunch of great items! I wandered in today randomly and found a gift for my boss! I have been to this shopping center many times before and never seen Kingfisher Road but I am soo glad I did. The girls working were really sweet and helpful, I didn't get an attitude from them at all (that I read about in a previous review). They helped me narrow down my selection between two pendants and they were helping a bunch of ladies (and one gentleman) pick out presents. No matter what you're looking for, or whatever your budget may be, they can accommodate. They also offer free gift wrapping that puts Papyrus to shame. I've been here a handful of times to buy small gifts but will not be returning to this store. The people who work here are snobby and completely disrespectful. I had an item to exchange and the lady insisted on taking my bag from me and holding onto it, like she thought I was a criminal or something. They also follow you around the store and watch you like a hawk. OK, I can't hold this in any longer, this place has become my one-stop shop for every gift I buy. I'm not saying every man is like this (but they are) but I dread having to go to the Mall or figure out where I'm going to find the perfect gift for my wife, Nana, babies and toddlers, etc. Then I found King Fisher Road, OK I didn't really find it, my wife took me there, but still now that I have found it, I haven't had to go anywhere else for the past three years, and I mean everything! The idea of completing my entire Christmas shopping in one store, in one visit, is the best Christmas gift I could ever receive. The staff tries stuff on for me and advises me and I come home the winner every time. By the way, I know clothes, and I find the most eclectic collection of stuff I don't see anywhere else, all beautifully displayed for me without having to go through racks or departments or anything else.
