I have been calling corporate Tan Republic, and haven't received a call back. Twice I went in to tan and the doors were locked during business hours. When I called another store across town. They said , the desk person didn't show up to work. Overall, I just really disappointed the lack of customer service. I won't be going back, nor will my friends. The online price didn't match the price they charged me as well. This was for my wife as a surprise at Christmas. I made sure they new that, well first time she goes in they have no record of that. She had to call me and have me speak to the front desk. Then she was like opps I see it. The we were going of of the area for a few weeks . I had asked over the phone if I could put the account on hold for a month while gone. I was assured oh that will be fine. So I told my wife to let them know when she went in. They told her oh no you have to email that request to us. Never telling anyone it had to be a month in advance not just a week. Total BS. They also never responded to the email. So I had to call the shop again. I said I see you charged me for the time I asked to be put on hold I get it that happens. I run a business that has monthly billing as well. So I asked her to refund that month she said no can't do that. I asked why she said you didn't do it in time so you get charged. I then asked why didn't someone say that at any point. She said well its in your contract I told her I signed up on the phone and was never given a contract. I said you can look that up. So refund my monthly payment. she again said I won't do that because your email was not soon enough. It was over a week before the billing was due. So then the girl said she was the manager and that she had to go the paying client were more important and had to go. I know the owner and she owns the 1440 as well and if this is the business they do cancel now everyone!! Worst business I have every had the misfortune to use in Bend!! Bill

I signed up for a month of "platinum" which means that I get a higher quality bed and I would hate to see the condition of other beds. Although my bed was extremely clean because I personally saw the tanning specialist clean it, there were cracks in the plexi glass that cover the bulbs. Although that may not hinder the functionality of the bed itself, it does not appear to be in "proper working order" to a customer. If I were to be simply offering this rating based on my customer service experience with the tanning specialist, Angie, I would be giving this a five star review. She was exceptional! I had many questions being that I was a new customer to this location and I needed to talk to somebody who also had product knowledge. Angie did a wonderful job of explaining the process there with that establishment, packages/benefits that would be helpful to me based on my current circumstances, and offered products that would meet my needs. She was absolutely fantastic, I felt like it was a positive exchange, and left feeling well educated on what I was getting/paying for.
