Patient Since 2015 Outstanding team from start to finish!…read moreOne thing I really appreciate about this office is they clearly respect their patients' time. They don't stack appointments, so if you show up on time you're usually seen right away. In fact, at my last cleaning I walked in about ten minutes early and they were already waiting for me. No exaggeration! If you want a dental office that's calm, organized, and refreshingly low-stress, this is the place. The atmosphere is relaxed, the hygienists are incredibly thorough, and Dr. Salazer takes the time to make sure everything is done right while keeping the whole experience comfortable and anxiety-free. On top of that, the front desk staff makes scheduling, check-in, and checkout quick and painless; and they laugh at all my bad dad jokes, which is always a plus! Honestly, I can't recommend this practice highly enough. YELP limits reviews to five stars, but in my book Dr. Salazar deserves ten! Jim S.

The office is easy to find, very clean and organized, and comfortable. The parking situation isn't too bad either; small parking lot with a couple of spots, but it's rarely full. In terms of experience, the level of respect and care that this office's staff exudes is unmatched. The women who work the front desk are kind and informative, and always greet me with a smile. The hygienist is equally as lovely and always does a great job with my teeth. The dentist is knowledgable, friendly, and never upsells products or services that are not needed. In other dentist offices, I've always felt like I had to deny so many unneeded services and products just to complete my appointment, and it really detracted from my experience and made me feel like my HCP cared more about making extra cash than giving me the care I needed. That has never been the experience here. It's hard to find health care providers that care about their patients as much as Dr. Salazar and staff do, and I will be going to them for the foreseeable future. I recommend them to all of my friends and family alike!

I was dealing with wisdom teeth pain for 2 months and simply thought it was a tooth pushing. Each night was a headache and hard to sleep or even eat. I registered online (great option by the way) scheduled an appointment for Thursday to get an exam/x-ray. Come to find out they needed to be pulled. They were so accommodating and Maria explained to me so well of what the options were and how things could go. They were even willing to extract them for me the same day but I wasn't prepared. I scheduled for Friday morning instead (next day). During my visit I got to meet some of the nicest people that clearly LOVE their profession. Everyone from the front to the procedure itself were excellent in making my nerves calm for this. I would like to give a HUGE thank you to Maria, Andrew, Sonia, Dr. Bhatti, and Amanda, for helping to guide me with patience and compassion for the situation I was in. You all made a nerve wrecking situation very pleasant and 3 days later I have 0 pain whatsoever (I've had 0 pain since the procedure at all which is outstanding). I looked at 4 other places before finally discovering this place and I'm glad I did. People like the staff here are the type that should train others in every profession when it comes to how to treat people with kindness and the ability to have positive impacts in their journey! It makes a difference, YOU all made my experience AMAZING! I'm sure I probably couldn't stop talking during the procedure but they made it work and were with me every step of the way. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING HERE! It's the best decision you'll make for your dental health. Such a pleasure!

I do NOT recommend this practice. In short, they recommended treatments (root canal/crowns) and…read moreafter getting a second opinion from an HONEST dentist, I don't need anything they recommended. I went in for my standard cleaning, X-rays, and consultation. I had been having pain in one tooth when chewing and mentioned that to the dentist. I was told I needed a deep cleaning, two crowns, one root canal, and a filling. All of this came to approx. $4,800. Additionally, they told me I needed Invisalign to help correct my bite, even though I have already had braces. Invisalign would be an additional $5k+ BUT WAIT there's a summer incentive that brings my price down to $3,500. This was an immediate red flag and gave me the ick because it felt like a sales pitch. Furthermore, the dentist said that the two crowns could wait to be done until after I completed Invisalign, which I would need for approximately one year. Excuse me, but I clearly don't "NEED" two crowns if it would be okay for me to wait a YEAR before completing that work. I called back a few weeks later because I had stopped chewing on the side that gave me pain, and the pain went away, so I was questioning if I really needed a root canal. I spoke with a dental assistant who told me that the nerve in that tooth must have died if I'm no longer experiencing pain. She reviewed the notes from my visit and said the notes said that nerve was already necrotic-- which is NOT true, my tooth was not necrotic and that was NEVER mentioned to me. In fact, the dentist told me that the tooth was fine, but I was experiencing pain because I had a large filling that was close to the nerve. Therefore when I was chewing, the pressure was causing the filling to irritate the nerve and to alleviate the pain, a root canal was needed. It had NOTHING to do with a necrotic tooth, only a filling that was irritating my nerve. The dentist was also willing to do the root canal himself instead of referring me to an endodontist, another red flag. I decided to get a second opinion because there were so many red flags that I didn't trust anything that Lake Nona Family Dentistry said to me. I went to another dentist, who owns her own practice, and she completed her own assessment first before I told her what was recommended to me by this practice. She said I didn't need any work at all, that all my fillings look fine. When I told her what LNFD recommended to me, she was shocked and said I didn't need ANY of the work they recommended. No root canal, no crowns and no filling. She said the pain I'm experiencing is from Bruxism, not a dead tooth. She said the treatment for that is a nightguard, NOT a root canal. And doing a root canal is the equivalent of amputating your arm when you pulled a muscle. I CANNOT imagine what would've happened had I not sought a second opinion. I would be out $5,000 and would have permanently altered my teeth with UNNECESSARY, IRREVERSIBLE treatments. It should be a CRIME to tell someone they need a root canal and crowns and permanently alter HEALTHY TEETH when the treatments are NOT NECESSARY. In short, DO NOT GO HERE and if you do, DO NOT DO ANY WORK WITHOUT A SECOND OPINION Edit in response to their comment: No one ever returns calls when they say will. I'm not wasting another moment of my time on this practice. Also FYI Heartland Dental is a CORPORATION that only cares about making a profit. Find a local dentist office that is privately owned by the dentist and not part of Heartland so that you can get honest feedback about the work you need done.

The only thing she could say was they call and text for confirmation but could not tell me that it was actually done successfully. The only communication I have from them is the appt confirmation from September 9. If you don't reach someone on the phone or via text, one would think you likely have a wrong number. I can only assume that they assumed I have a local 407 number, I don't, it's 404. In this case, you email as many companies do to confirm. Poor communication and no remedy but to come back another day. I took time off from work for this appt as most people work 8-5 M-F. Cannot recommend.

The lack of effort, the lack of communication, the lack of concern for my broken tooth and infection was mind-blowing. It all started with a deep cleaning they did that ended up loosening my filling somehow. Then my gum got an infection at the root. They referred me to another office as they did not have the equipment to handle my case. I went to their referral for a CT scan and I was the one who had to constantly call them and coordinate the exchange of info btwn those 2 offices. After a week and half of no communication I spoke with the office mgr and she told me no charge for a consult today BUT today they cancelled my appt and referred me somewhere else and told me they were saving me a charge from them by referring me again. I went to the 2nd referral and they didn't have any of my info which was supposedly sent over. I was in the new dentist today trying to call for the info but got put on hold for an extensive length of time only to get hung up on. So now, I'm doing all the legwork to get my dental information to the correct offices so the new dentist knows what's happened and what he can do next. Dr Martinez was very nice but her staff has lost a patient for her. I doubt she'll ever know how bad this situation got. I'd give her a 4.5 and her staff a 0...so overall I'll just settle for a 1 star review.

I called on Monday because I had been experiencing gum pain and wanted to be seen. I was told I would be referred to the oral surgeon as in a previous visit I was told I needed my wisdom tooth pulled. She refused to see me after suffering 3 days of pain and no sleep. I called to schedule an appointment with the oral surgeon and they don't even take my insurance. So I made an appointment with the urgent care office and they gave me antibiotics. So I called today to see if she would please squeeze me in as today makes day 7. I was told again she couldn't do anything as she believed it was my wisdom tooth and wouldn't be able to see me. After pleading and having to over talk her to explain that the pain was nowhere near my wisdom tooth she finally decided to schedule me but told me she wouldn't be able to do anything about it. This is unacceptable. I am 8 months pregnant and never thought I would have this experience from a doctor. Doctors have to learn to take black pregnant mothers more serious across the board. It's not just a medical provider issue.
