It reinforces the soft power of a local business for a reasonable fee, I was able to deliver a live plant hundreds of miles away at a time that worked well and with a personal touch. When you are several hundred miles away and need something done, reach out to a friend for help. In this case the only contact in the area is the gift recipient. Looking for a specific live plant for a specific day, and the big names in the long-distance flower sector weren't available to help you look locally. Of course, the first resource was YELP, but there were similar issues with availability and delivery. I had to resort to desperate measures and used Google Maps to search for a florist near the delivery address and found The Owls Nest Florist.
