Small shack right by a school. We got chinola (passion fruit juice) with some lime water, the pica pollo with tostones, and a chicken empanada. The lime water was the best item of the order. Passion fruit was good. Pica pollo was okay, nothing wow. Tostones was good. Chicken empanada was awful. I would go for the drinks and smoothies coming over here. read more

After working out early in the AM wanted to continue my health vibe for the day and decided to finally give this place a try. I had this placed bookmarked for a minute and on a nice day I said why not. Upon entering the business first thing I notice is that it is really really clean which was a great first impression. They sell an array of things from smoothies to small meals etc.. I told the woman I wanted to get creative and she told me the options I had to create my smoothie. My review is solely based on my smoothie so I cannot confirm the quality of the food but it looked good from what i could see. My creation of Pineapple, Strawberry, Orange juice, Almond milk came out perfect. I really really really enjoyed my drink !!! It hit the spot on a nice day. Price was $6.50 which was a tad high for the size of the smoothie. I would definitely come back here to try other things on the menu. She also told me that they will start selling Tres Leches Cake so consider me sold lol read more

A few of us from work decided to give this place a try for lunch. When I placed the take out order, they said it would be ready in 15 minutes; however, it took about 35. It was a large order so I'm not surprised but the staff should be more aware. We ordered 4 patacones, 3 smoothies, and 2 orders of maduros. The prices are great! The bill came to $40 for everything. Patacon: I had the steak patacon w/ bacon (which was practically non-existent. At first I couldn't find it on my sandwich). It came with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and ketchup between two smashed plantains. The sandwich was delicious, but I think it needed a kick to it. I'd definitely get it again, but I'll add hot sauce next time. Smoothie & Side: I had the papaya smoothie which was great and is one of the better smoothies I've had. The maduros were very good. The staff was very friendly, but they should be aware wait times will be longer if it's a large order. It deserves a 4 star rating on the food alone. I'll change the rating if they get a little better predicting the wait times. With that said, I'll be back. read more

I honestly did not like what I ordered. I had a chinola juice and it was super sweet. I also had a ham and cheese sandwich and It was the weirdest thing ever. The bread was hot like it had been toasted, and it looked toasted as well but the bread was super soft and not crunchy at all. I did not like my sandwich either ... needless to say I won't be returning. read more
