There's a halal butcher and just a plain butcher, about which as a vegetarian I can tell you nothing, a bakery, and a Latin American and Indian mini-cafe. The produce section is very crowded (and offers a wild variety with some excellent specials), and the endcaps on the aisles extend into the aisle, meaning in several places there's only room for one cart and you'll have to excuse yourself to get where you're going. Be prepared. I was impressed by their selection of organic spices and they also had some organic Asian noodles (buckwheat and soba). They also have a good selection of Latin American groceries, including huancaina sauce from Peru (yes!), frozen plantains and Guarana soda. I've seen larger selections of Indian and Eastern European products at dedicated specialty groceries, but no one else in the area carries it all. Many, many different types of flatbread and a wide selection of Middle Eastern sweets; various dry pulses; various types of candy; pearled farro and more versions of burek than I've seen before, including a "vegan be'f". The Indian mini-cafe is half vegetarian, half non; the Latin American one has various kinds of filling in carbs, and if you're vegetarian, all they have is cheese - though the fried corn-dough empanada, cheese in an eggroll like wrapper and pastelito (cheese in pastry) offered various textural delights. This is a haul for me, and I usually try to avoid I-59 but this place might be worth a special trip.

This shop, home to many varietals of olive oil, vinegar and other gourmet goodies, shares space with Dark Horse Pastries, so you also have your choice of baked goods. They also sell a small array of wine and beer, and products from other local companies such as chocolates and honey (creamed raw raspberry honey, anyone? Sounds good to me!) You can taste all the varieties of oil and vinegar. Like it spicy? Pick from habanero, jalapeno or red pepper oil! Want fruit flavor? How about Mexican Lime, Meyer Lemon or Blood Orange? The balsamic vinegar came in an array of interesting flavors, including Dark Chocolate, which I think would pair well with strawberries! I liked that there were larger and smaller sized bottles to choose from (small size was 5 oz). They also sell a modest range of dip mixes, mustard, pesto, pasta, and assorted other treats. The addition of the bakery in the same building makes this shop a little different from some of the other gourmet places around here (note that there are several other places in downtown Naperville that specialize in this type of product). It's slightly hard to find (go down the alley between Potbelly and the yellow house building and it's in the courtyard behind), but worth looking for! I've since visited this store twice - once when they first opened and once a few weeks ago. Their selection of balsamic vinegars in different flavors are fresh and unique for the area. It does make it a bit difficult to navigate in a wheelchair and browse even tho they have a wheelchair ramp inviting the mobility challenge into an array of wonderful smells.
