Stopped by this Tropical Smoothie Cafe to grab smoothies for me and the girls. It had a calm, welcoming vibe, and it was an easy place to stop in. I got an Avocolada, and the girls went with Blimey Limeys. Everything was fresh and refreshing -- perfect for a quick drink break. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole visit felt smooth from start to finish. Definitely a spot I'd come back to. read more

Birthday stop #2 on the Roadtrip to the Parental Units My brother is a saint when it comes to family. He has been especially diligent in taking care of Mom. His birthday wishlist was kind of small, so I jumped at the chance to get him what he truly wanted - a Tropical Smoothie gift card! The parking was easier than most strip mall/plazas and the store is well marked (easy for visitors to find). The store was bright and clean despite the lunch rush just ending. I was promptly greeted by a very friendly young woman who was straightening her station. Since I only needed the gift card, I stepped directly to the register. The gal at the register processed my request quickly and then verified that the card amount was correctly loaded. I was grateful for that, given that I wouldn't be in the area for long. My brother was thrilled with my gift and I was very happy that I gave him exactly what he wanted. read more

I got a peanut butter cup smoothie and it had no chocolate... how do you forget one of the 3 ingredients in a smoothie?

Ordered a bowl and a wrap online, to which the order was to be picked up at 12:52 pm. They didn't have my order ready until 1:39 pm and proceeded to complain about staff shortages and them complaining to the owner that they need help for 2 hours. Meanwhile, I watched 3 people come, order at the counter and walk out with their food and drink within 10 minutes. An absolute disgrace and not a single employee apologized for any inconvenience. And from where I was sitting, I saw zero hustle or sense of urgency about any of it. I wasn't the only one either. I'm sure I am also not the only one that will NEVER order here again. It's amazing how unapologetic a service based business can be when 90% of its patrons pre-pay for their order. I'm sure the staff, along with its stellar leadership would be singing a different tune if none of us paid until we got our food. read more

The racist so called general manager that gave my wife a hard time, very rude, inappropriate A Hole. After waiting forever for her order, and seeing it was already made she inquired about others customers receiving their order before hers. Cashier first got an attitude and telling her she needs to prepare food before she can receive her order. Absolute horrible service came in around 12:30 on a Saturday stood in front of the cash register while they made orders stood there patiently they were greeting guests as they walked in as I'm still standing at the cash register Marcus looks through me and asks the individual that just walked in if he's ready to order as if I wasn't standing here for a good five minutes asking him if I'm invisible he says oh I thought you were looking at the menu at the time I was standing there, I looked at my watch twice, indicating that I was getting impatient. He was literally thumbing around on the register and told me I should've used my words this was completely disrespectful and uncalled for as I didn't do anything besides ask if I was invisible when he asked the person behind me if they wanted to order. Then went upon asking for his name. He told me no, and I had to get it from his maybe superior but Marcus do better. read more

The smoothie was good but unscrupulous on how they charged us and a warning for others. More about the principle than the amount. I was deciding between a regular island green and a detox island green. Price was the same. They are the same ingredients. The only difference is the detox has no sugar We asked them to add just a little sweetener to the detox smoothie,....well they charged us an additional $1 for the sweetener but didn't tell us. Point is I would have just ordered the regular island green if they would told me about the up charge on something I could've gotten with the regular one for the lower price. Not cool. read more

I've been buying Tropical Smoothie from here for a while and recently they've been slacking off and having a lack of ingredients or employees where I've been buying food I can't even receive and it's starting to become and issue to me and this is the closest Tropical Smoothie to my house and no one has time to switch locations. read more

Great location, but always under staffed. I enjoy the woman & young man during the day, always so nice but always seem rushed, I feel bad for them. Why aren't you staffed for business TSC? We only get an hour for lunch & 2 of my coworkers stopped eating there last month. As of yesterday I decided I won't be back either. read more
