It was about a 30-minute walk from my house to Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I have been on a healthy journey for the past two months. Today, I came here for a late lunch. I informed one of the employees about my food allergies. The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dinner dates. Food The Chicken Pesto Flatbread with grilled chicken, tomatoes, shredded parmesan, mozzarella, and pesto was flavorful. The Jalapeño Corn with chipotle mayo and fresh lime was delicious. Bookmark this spot to try!

    JETTY PUNCH with add-ons

Great, fast, and friendly service. Got the Jetty Punch (Strawberry/Banana) smoothie with add-ons (probiotic, multi-vitamin, and Energizer) and an All-American wrap (Bacon, Egg, Mozz, Cheddar), but with no cheese. Both were great. Some people complain about the size of the wrap, but I prefer it small so you have room for the smoothie or you can get more than one item if you want to. This was my first time visiting this location. Anyone that has been to Bell Blvd. in Bayside knows parking is difficult. But other than that - no complaints! Will definitely visit again

I came to Tropical Smoothie Café a few times now and have tried their chipotle chicken club flat bread, chicken bacon ranch flat bread, Blimey Limey smoothie, Sunrise Sunset smoothie, and Triple Berry Oat smoothie. Their smoothies are pretty standard. Personally, I don't like the ones that have protein powder because I'm not a fan of the taste. My favorite was the chicken bacon ranch flat bread because it kind of reminds me of the McDonald's snack wrap. I've tried to find and recreate similar items for a while since it was discontinued, so I'm glad I tried this. Would come back again just to order that!

I love Tropical Smoothie! The restaurant is always super clean and colorful inside. I usually order the same thing every time. Today, I tried something new. I had the quesadilla with a side of jerk sauce. I think I'm going to start ordering this from now on. It was really good. I always get the Sunrise Sunset smoothie as well. I like to modify my order and the staff are always really helpful and don't give me a hard time. The rewards are great. I got a few free things and they text me when they have deals. I will be back!

The smoothies here are really good but the food portions are embarrassing. I recently tried the cookies and I was impressed. However, bowls and hot food are a no-go. Also, the edible straws are usually broken so I would not go for those.

We came around 9pm after ordering on their mobile app and the smoothies were available for pick-up after 10-15min. I ordered the Blimey Limey (which was strawberries, pineapple, orange juice and lime) and my boyfriend went for the Tripe Berry Oat (which was strawberries, blueberries, cranberry, multivitamin, ground flaxseed, whole grain oats, why protein, and Splenda) because he wanted protein after working out. I preferred my smoothie because it was more refreshing. His was filling and you can definitely taste the oats, protein, and Splenda. I understand why someone said they felt like it was a slushie rather than a smoothie. I didn't mind that, but overall it was an average tasting smoothie.

Ohana breeze was supposed to be blue

I ordered delivery for an Ohana Breeze & PB crunch yogurt. I Managed a Tropical Smoothie for 3 years. If I received a notification of an order this messed up and disgusting I'd suspend my crew member. The Ohana Breeze I ordered was watered down and tasted like a detox island Green and the PB Crunch had almost 0 yogurt in it. I ordered extra granola and Nutella and have had it from my old location and other locations before so I know how much yogurt should be in there. It wasn't even filled up to the line I'm so disappointed, uber won't refund my trip.

I LOVE tropical smoothie. I got the little lime berry this time because I wasn't too thirsty, but I usually get the detox green drink. it satisfies my cravings and it's definitely healthy. The ambience is quiet, not many people dine in.

I was so excited for a tropical smoothie to open up! Only been to the Long Island locations, but welcome to QNZ!!! It's right next to the orange theory! I went inside and was pleasantly surprised at how big the location was! There's a couple of tables and chairs to sit at! I ordered the Detox island green smoothie with spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana & ginger because I wanted something GREEN and refreshing. The size itself is huge!!! It came out to around $8-9 which is a super reasonable price! The girl was also super sweet & told me to download the app to start racking up points / earn rewards! They also have food items such as wraps, salads, etc. if you want to pair up some food with a smoothie!! I will def be back to try the other smoothies on the menu!!!

My first time and the location is great. Not a lot of people there. We ordered 3 smoothies and was okay. Sunset smoothie was my favorite

This is a great shop for a refreshing, healthy drinks and a yummy snack. You can get fruity, açaí, or kale/ greens, detox smoothies. I had the pomegranate boost drink. It had a mix of yummy blueberries, strawberries açaí, pomegranates. Yummm. We also had the sunrise sunset smoothie. It had a nice mix of strawberries, mango, pineapple, orange juice and a kick of vitamin. The drinks were all a large 24oz size drink. It's a little pricey but worth it. The service was a little slow but friendly. There are plenty of tables to sit at to enjoy your meal! Worth trying!

This big smoothie only for $8!

I could only eat half while at the resto. Hours later I ate the other half and I and it cold and it was still perfectly delicious. I even tasted more of the flavors this time around. It's been six years since I last came here. The food is still pretty good and the service was…read morefriendly, but overall I found the sandwiches a bit overpriced. The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.

Friends brought me to Spin Bagel, and for that I am gastronomically thankful, for as good as New York bagels in general taste to me, the bagels at Spin Bagel have a "spin" on them that cannot be beat: clean, high-quality ingredients that enhance the taste as well as nourish the body, and a lightness to them that allows you to eat the whole bagel without feeling that heavy lump in the stomach one can get from the standard, doughier bagel. When I asked the owners what their secret is, I was told that it's the fermentation process that's unique. They also offer an array of meats and others bagel toppings that don't contain any nitrates/nitrites, artificial flavors, or preservatives. No seed oils are used. The atmosphere is super nice too - décor is charming, but it's the service that stands out. Our server was Angelina, who is charming and friendly, and moves like the wind. She served our food quickly, but no one rushed us out. I enjoyed all of it - the bagel and toppings, the service, the atmosphere. Going back again, for sure, next time I get to Bayside!

It's cozy, warm, nostalgic, and incredibly inviting. Every little detail of the decor makes you want to slow down, look around, and just enjoy being there. The owner is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the experience. You can tell that hospitality is something they genuinely care about. The staff are also wonderfully trained. Despite them being younger, they were incredibly respectful, attentive, and welcoming, carrying the same warmth and hospitality we experienced from the owner. That consistency really stood out to us. Our usual to-go order is the black sesame latte, which is perfect for those cold days, and the strawberry mint ade, which is perfect for the hot ones. The black sesame latte is smooth, rich, and not too sweet. It has that comforting warmth that seems to warm you through and through. The strawberry mint ade, on the other hand, is fizzy, crisp, and incredibly refreshing. That first sip instantly cools you down! We've also tried several of their homemade pastries, including their cookies and scones, and we've loved them all. Everything feels thoughtfully made, which adds to the charm of the place. There's something really special about Camellia Bell. It feels less like just stopping by a café and more like stepping into a little hidden world where you can slow down and enjoy the moment. We're hoping to try their Bingsoo on our next visit! Definitely one of our favorite little gems. Highly recommend!
