Came here with a friend for a post workout meal. I've been to other locations and liked them well enough but one thing I noticed about this location immediately upon entering is we were greeted with a friendly welcoming smile and a warm hello. Some other places do this, but it just seemed so genuine. After ordering and sitting down to wait for our smoothies and food, the owner chatted us up a bit because I asked how long this location has been open (about 2 weeks); she was super friendly. The store was very well lit and decorated with bright colors and just had a fresh vibe all around. I had the Cali Chicken Flatbread and a Kiwi Quencher smoothie. I was starving after our workout so I don't know if that's why it was so good, but it was so delicious I practically inhaled it. My friend had the Jerk Chicken Wrap and he said it was good also. My smoothie was very tasty and just the right amount of sweetness, but you can customize it by having them use Splenda instead of the added raw sugar if calories are a concern. There are a plethora of other customization options for the smoothies such as added protein elements. The smoothies here range from a sweet decadent treat to a light mix of fruits/veggies to a full blown protein packed meal type smoothie. This is a great place to come for a healthy meal and/or a smoothie. The only downside I will mention is the smoothies only come in one size. I guess this takes out one extra element you have to make a choice on, but for me I would probably opt for a smaller smoothie if that was an option. read more

I also didn't receive a spoon at the window, too an AÇAÍ BOWL, how on earth can you expect to stay in business if you can't even give customers there damn spoons. I've always had pleasant experiences at Tropical Smooth Cafe and I went back yesterday which was no exception. I got a Sunrise Sunset with the Ultimate Club sandwich and a cookie. The cookie crumbled on the trip home and was not great but the rest of the meal was pretty good. I love the smoothies, probably because there is so much sugar in them. However, you can always ask them to customize your drink with add ins or less sugar. You get a huge smoothie for about five dollars so the price can't be beat! read more

Great food and products, piss poor attitude on staff and esp management (really??) screwed up an order, never said "I'm sorry" or "thank you" or anything remotely pleasant. Had to wait for them to make my sons item, then pay for additional charges (bc again they screwed up) and the manager says NOTHING but "here you go" and closes the window door as soon as I grab the cup from him. I recently visited the location in Broken Arrow Ok. I ordered 2 junior drinks that were listed on the drive-thru menu as $3.59 ea. The young man told me my total was $9.79. When I got to the window I explained that each drink was $3.59 for a total of $7.18 + tax would be $7.75. He did the correct thing and said he was getting his manager. I assumed it was so she could override the transaction and correct the pricing. I was WRONG! Nicole (the manager) came and told me the sign is wrong and the drinks are $4.79 each and she was getting a new sign tomorrow. I explained that the sign is for $3.59 so that would be the price. She proceeded to tell me that the price was changed 6 months ago so I would have to pay the price. I again said, no the price is what is listed. She stormed off, never to turn, never to offer to provide any sort of customer service, just in a huff or tantrum. They closed the window, continued to take orders and when they did return they still offered a price that was higher than what it would have been if they charged me the correct amount. I let them know that I no longer wanted the drinks but I would take the store number (identifing marker) and the corporate number. The young man didn't know what the store number was, so he left and another young lady came to the window. She was super rude but did give me a card for the General Manager, Victoria Grant. I called the number and of course it went straight to the store and it was the same young lady who answered. I went across the street to Starbucks, go my drinks there, went home and called Tropical Smoothie Corporarte and called Dyne Hospitality Group. My intentions was only to let them know that the management on that shift is toxic and would only contaminate what could possibly be a good crew. Management and leadership is EVERYTHING to a company and the people they work with. I hope TS and DYNE address this issue and maybe use this as a training tool for managers. read more

Absolute worst customer service experience! Ordered 3 drinks through the drive-thru, one was in-correct and the employee argued with me and told me that is what I ordered. I come to that location often always order the same 2 drinks, today with the exception of an additional one. They simply duplicated two of the drinks, so we just needed to fix one drink. Employee refused to take it back and was insistent that was what I ordered. I calmly explained that I absolutely did not, I order the same thing every time. She continued to argue, still not taking the drink back. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said "You can calm down!" and shut the window. We watched through the window as she gave the run down to the other employees, finally a different person came to the window (not the manager) I explained the situation to her and she asked if I would like them to make me the correct drink. YES!!! that's all I asked for in the first place. We come to this location for convenience, but will be reconsidering in the future. read more

I love tropical smoothie & visit quite often but this location and their terrible customer service and lack of quality will be the reason I will now be looking for another location to get smoothies. The manager (Asian guy) can't remember his name is rude and unhelpful. I also reached out to corporate regarding my experience and have yet to get a response. The other locations I have never had problems with but the broken arrow location is lacking in all aspects, which gives the well managed tropical smoothie locations a bad name. The smoothies are continuously watery, half blended, and lacking in flavor. And even when you specify (on the mobile app) how you want your smoothie made they still make it incorrectly. read more

This is the worst tropical smoothie ever! The pictures of the food is false advertising. The smoothies always come out watery or flavorless even after being very specific about the way you want it made (the right way). I ordered a quesadilla (5 bucks) and it comes out flat as a pancake with no toppings whatsoever! I go back up only for the GM to explain how much should be inside the quesadilla. I have it re-made...still disgusting! I have spent so much money at this location only to continue to be dissatisfied. It seems as if they are ripping people off of their hard earned money to save a few bucks on products. There is one black girl on the evening shift that makes the best smoothie ever! I ordered a Pomegranate Plunge ($5.39) and a Paradise Point ($4.99) at this Trop Smoothie. The employees handed them both out the window and said "here's this one and the other one" and didn't clarify which was which. It was pretty clear they knew they weren't handing out the right drinks. I looked at the cups because I know the kind of smoothie is usually written on the side, but there was nothing written on them. So, I tried to ask which one was which but the window was already closed and no employees were standing near the window. They were both the same kind of smoothie (something with banana and strawberry). There was no one else in the drive thru. Not consistent food. I have ordered the baja chicken burrito 3 times. All three times it tasted different. The first time it was good but it had too much cheese. The second time i ordered no cheese but instead they took out the avocado and left a bunch of cheese. By this time i was thinking third times a charm, but no. On my third visit there was an extra spicy salsa they had put in it which was not there the previous times I had eaten this burrito. I can take spice but this was very spicy. I even had my husband try it to see if it really was spicy and he agreed. It's just inconsistent. The only great thing about the place are the smoothies because I'm sure those are measured out. Oh and if you are going to try this place, expect a long wait time. I don't know if they need more workers or if they are just slow. read more

Delicious of course, just not as fast as the one in tulsa. The drive through is slow and there is not a lot of room for the drive through you end up blocking the parking spots. It's hard to get in and out. read more

I try to give this place chance after chance because i love the one in Tulsa hills but they need to work on time management or something because i can expect a 10+ minute wait everything in the drive thru even if I'm the only one in line. I come here twice a week and have for the past month. It's the only healthy option when it comes to fast food. Shakes are great and food is good. Problem is staff can't get an order right. Example.. this week I went two times and both times they mess up the order. Putting things on my food that isn't wanted. When I tell you I have an allergy I don't expect to see that on my wrap! Please get it together. Update 10/6/17 @ 7pm They still can't get an order right. Come in after a month of going only to the other one on Peoria and had to show them food and all 3 try to decide who's fault it is this time. Is anyone reading these? If you're looking for a 30 minute wait you found the right place!! the girl dropped my smoothie, with the juice all over the cup and still gave it to me, the place wasn't even full, 2 families there, 2 girls walked in after me and got their smoothies before I did. Terrible. Both times I've gone through the drive thru it has been around 3 or 4 o'clock on a weekend and maybe around 2 around the week both times have had bad a experience. I only get a 30 min lunch and I've sat in line for 15 min each time and even when Ive gotten to the window no one has opened the window and I see inside my chicken pesto flat bread sitting in a bad and then they have me pay by the time they got it to be the second time it was cold. Not warm COLD, smoothie took 5 more minutes and it was over iced or something to make it taste less sweet then usual. I know how they are suppose to taste as I live closer to the Brookside one which is 100% better and 5 stars. But man I'm disappointed there's always a very young kid working the drive thru I understand they may be new or training but does it really take a while 15-25 min to heat up a sandwich or blend a smoothie? I have worked in the food industry and I know how difficult it can be. I found out that Tropical Smoothie not only has drive-thru orders, and walk-in orders, but they also have online orders as well as phone orders. If they have all those orders come in at the same time, then I can understand how it may take a few minutes longer to get walk-in and drive-thru orders completed. Also the truck that brings the food supplies does not always arrive on schedule. Therefore the employees are short of food for preparation. The truck not arriving on time is not the fault of the workers (including management). There are times that machinery breaks down and needs immediate attention in order continue their service.These are just a few examples. If service is slow, that does not necessarily indicate a lazy worker.There are many different factors that play a role as to why it seems that service is not at the top. A customer may call in and order 20 sandwiches for example, yet expects to pick up the order in 10 minutes. The workers also have to tend to all other customers at the same time.
