Said their drive thru was closed at 8:47 and they don't close until 9pm so we said we would come inside and the worker had said ok in a really b***y tone. I work for a coffee shop that closes at 6pm and know showing up 10 min before closing is lame but we still give great customer service and make them their drink so I'm very disappointed with the customer service and just service in general. Me and my husband wanted to come after we worked out to get a dragonfruit smoothie with Splenda and whey protein and we were busy throughout the day so we didn't appreciate the c**p service. We went for breakfast and enjoyed their peanut butter and banana flatbread. A delicious sandwich with a crunchy granola and a drizzle of honey. It's maybe 1 in every 20 visits that my order is correct or blended completely without chunks of ice or not total liquid. I asked for white chocolate this time instead of dark and my husband got home and of course there's dark chocolate. My husband thought that maybe what I had added in made it darker or he would've sent it back. I literally almost never get a correct smoothie. The drive through takes a minimum of 20 minutes from the time you start your order till the time it's finished. They're always understaffed. Today I ordered a pickup order to be fulfilled 20 minutes after they opened. My husband goes to pick up the order, and there's not a soul in sight, lights off. I called and they said they had an "emergency" and asked to have my order refunded and they said they couldn't do it through the app, they said I would need to go in in person. Tonight at 6:30 I tried to call to say they would fulfill my order (1 1/2 hours before they close) and no answer. So the workers here started late and ended early. I am totally flabbergasted that in the midst of a pandemic and cases rising like crazy on the daily that this smoothie place does not require its employees to wear masks. I walked in wearing one and was stunned to see that not a single one of the three employees present had a mask on. Additionally, my back was to the counter and I didn't see one of the employees approach me to hand deliver my smoothie without keeping at least 6 ft apart from me. Just got the ultimate club which I always get at the Mobile. This is supposed to be a toasted sandwich but it wasn't. The meat was cold and the cheese wasn't melted. I love that topical smoothie has drive through, it makes grabbing a refreshing smoothie on hot afternoon a much easier task than making the trek across a hot parking lot. I ordered my go to, the blimey limey and was met with my usual satisfaction for the taste. For the size of the smoothies, I think the pricing is good, and probably better than most smoothie spots. My only thing that I thought was a little off was that I could see 3 staff members and not one of them was wearing masks.. now I know everyone has different opinions on COVID but we are mid "second wave" and as a comparison most other restaurants are wearing masks as a precaution. I'm not knocking it; I just think it's an interesting choice when serving food. read more

This location needs major help . They got my order wrong, which caused me to have to turn around and waste gas off of the interstate. When I got in there , the kids working weren't friendly or apologetic. I asked for a gift card or a reimbursement as compensation for the wasted gas/time ... they told me the manager would call me , he never did . Absolutely terrible service. Every time I go there I have issues. Last time I was the only customer in the drive thru, and no customers inside, and it took 15 mins for me to get my smoothie and today I asked for the southwest wrap and they insisted that they don't have a southwest wrap and listed all the other wraps they have, with an attitude, while I was literally looking at the menu where it says...southwest wrap... which I get every time I go there. I really do like their food and smoothies. But avoid the drive thru like the plague. First, if there is a car in front of you, plan on at least 10 minutes in line. Second, they always seem to lose your order, and need to re-key it when you get to the window. From that point it's a few more minutes. If I had a choice, I wouldn't go to this one, but the next closest is 40 miles away, and smoothie king is crap in comparison. If the management or leadership reads this review, I love your food, but the service is beyond dreadful. Just because I'm able to take the 12 minutes I've been waiting in line currently and doing product emailing, doesn't mean I want to. Fix your service! Update 2/18/18 - this place has gotten worse. The high school kids that work there are garbage, and simply roll their eyes when someone asks for something not specifically on the menu. Furthermore, if you ask them to remake something because they messed up the order, you'll wish you didn't say anything. My peanut paradise takes like grass, and the service is so bad I'm not going to bother taking it back. Everytime i've come i've been sitting in the drive through for 30+ minutes. Ridiculous. This place has been so awesome for me to eat more healthy at a decent price! The food is always served fresh and the chicken is tender. I always go for the flatbreads. The smoothies are SO good and really great on calories. You can even opt for splenda but I like mine the way they come. Definitley am a regular here and they have a great app for rewards. read more

Their staff is full of young teenagers who take FOREVER. I went to this location almost every day for 3 months when they first opened and then at least 3 times a week for the first year. Then, the menu changed. The chicken salad recipe changed. They eliminated a bunch of great smoothies that we loved. And the service is so inconsistent that I would rather buy all the ingredients and make our smoothies and sandwiches at home. They leave out add-on ingredients, mistake whey protein for pea protein, and don't rinse out the mixers (I have tasted peanut butter in my detox island green smoothie.) I never had issues with any of the "TroSmo's" that we frequent when we travel. I am truly disappointed with this location. We live within walking distance and might get a smoothie every now and then but the quality of this particular location continues to disappoint. read more

My kids and I are pretty big fans of the Mango Magic smoothie so we were pleased to find this Tropical Smoothie Cafe while looking for a lunch stop on our way to the beach. The smoothies came out pretty fast, but we had to wait a few minutes for our meals--about 10 minutes. It was fine. The service was friendly, and the drive-thru line was pretty busy. I had the Caribbean Jerk Bowl, and I liked it. I'm sure we'll stop here again sometime. read more

I went to this store a few weeks ago and I very unsatisfied. The staff was spectacular. Specially an African American man that was running around the kitchen to prepare the customers meals. I had a difficult order and he did absolutely everything he could to make it possible. But I am a type of person that likes to keep my receipts, so I can scan them and earn cash back but the gentleman explained how they were out of receipt paper because they were not able to replenish their stock. What kind of owner lets their own business run out of receipt paper?! Not a very good one. Second, my wife had to limit or change her order multiple because the place was out of food items. Sad.. that a restaurant so popular for their food and smoothies can't even get the supply they need. This problem goes deeper than the poor people running around in the kitchen crazy to make customers happy. Big congrats to this gentleman. As for tropical smoothie.. owners or boss.. whom ever.. Given this place a half dozen chances and it's been beyond poor every single time. I'm shocked it's still in operation. This morning i ordered ahead thru the app, sat down at the bar for TEN MINS before i was even acknowledged by either employee, and was 1 of TWO customers in the entire store.. when one finally did, she said "you had the online order?"
