Awesome burger with mashed potatoes!
Anna-Leigh L.

I was starving so I popped into my neighborhood Cali Dreaming. I grabbed a delicious burger cooked exactly as I asked. My server Erin was as sweet as sugar, but what really impressed me is after she took care of her guests, she cleaned her area so thoroughly that she got down with the flashlight on her phone to make sure she didn't miss a crumb! It's hard to find that work ethic! Go Erin!!

There are no photos of the food because we devoured quickly! The food was EXCELLENT!! Our waitress Meredith was great and accommodated our family very well with her wonderful hospitality. We had the Seafood San Francisco, Filet Mignon, and Grouper. 10/10 - highly recommend California Dreaming. The ambiance, the music, the prices, the experience, the food, the staff - everything was just incredible!

The service was outstanding! The waitress was friendly and quick! The manager greets and checks on the customers like a champ! The food was good. The restaurants inside is like the typical chain. Yes, I recommend this place!

The ribeye was the right term, it was served with an entre size house salad and a bake potato and the she crab soup was also good.

We had lunch here a few hours ago. With a party of 10, I was surprised at how quickly they were able to accommodate us. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. She took our drink orders right away and then, handled our food orders. The food came out timely. I had the seafood nachos. They were good, but seems like the toppings were a little on the skimpy side. My oldest son had a steak. He said it was good, but could have been seasoned a little bit more. Overall, it was a pleasant lunch experience. When we're back in this area visiting family, we would probably come back.

A favorite lunch spot that never disappoints. Today I enjoyed the She Crab Soup. Buttery, creamy with bits of crab. Yum!!

Well this was a walk-in. we were at the shopping center looking for a place to eat in California dreaming came up on yelp. Looked at the directions and they were messed up. Apple Maps. It was running for a block here angled here back there over here and all you had to do was look up and saw the sign. Two minute walk The place reeks of ambience. See picture. The menu looks pretty good. Recommend trying it out. This place looks great for dinner unfortunately we will not be able to come back a second time as we'll be leaving on the boat.

Marinated Sirloin with mashed potatoes

It must be good we have eaten there two nights in a row! The fried crab claw appetizer is delicious! I got the pineapple jalapeño margarita on the first night and a regular house margarita on the second night. The first night I had the shrimp po boy sandwich-French bread with lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise and 7-8 fried shrimp. The side was French fries and they were good, thick cut steak fries. It was recommended by the server, Missy and was very good. My husband got the marinated sirloin both nights-it was that good!!! The second night I ordered the steak sandwich. It too came on French bread with lettuce tomato, mayonnaise and horseradish sauce. I requested no mayo and they also left off the horseradish sauce. I requested they bring it and am glad they did! It made the sandwich! I would recommend this place for anyone staying in this area. The choices are very very limited, but California Dreaming was a gem. Ask for Missy-she won't lead you astray!!

Service was fantastic. Food was tasty but a bit over-priced. They had a guy singing in the bar that was too loud for other diners.

Food was not great for the price. The restaurant was clean and the ambiance was good but our table was very wobbly. Service was very slow.

We enjoyed a delicious flatbread and an amazing Charcuterie board while chatting about wine with our friendly bartender. The drinks are made with fresh squeezed juices ( The Berry Delicious Martini is a must try), and it's fun to watch them make the drinks. It's such a welcoming and quaint space. Exactly what we were looking for on a Monday evening when everyone else in town is closed. We enjoyed sitting at the bar, but noticed some comfy couches to try on our next visit. Well done Le Bouchon!

It's in the "downtown" section of Daphne, which is pretty small but easy to find. It's parallel to Hwy 98 on scenic 98. Speaking of small, there are a couple of comfy seating areas, with couches and chairs, high-top tables, and a small bar. Upon entering we noticed the shotgun shake elongated space but it's very laid back and intimate with a nice atmosphere and vibe. Despite the limited space, they had a dude playing guitar and singing by the front door, nice and mellow too. There's a respectable choice of wines, but not overdone like some of the more pretentious places plus they have several craft beers, beers on tap and sparkling fizzy choices. Good news, if you're not a connoisseur you can also sample some of the wines, nice touch. We were greeted by Jessica, she rocked, and she guided us through the specials and all about the wines and foods. She took excellent care of us throughout the visits and made it a joy. While they had a bbq chicken slider being made that was not on the menu, and it sounded good, we got a flatbread pizza and the roasted red pepper hummus with pita bread and veggies. Both were outstanding, fresh, and a very good pairing for my sweetheart's wine and the stout beer that I chose. However, I regretted not getting their huge and inviting-looking charcuterie board, it's loaded full of different cheeses, olives, meats, and more, next time for sure. I got to meet quite a few people from our group, everyone seemed to enjoy their choices of food and libations so I feel pretty good that everyone enjoyed themselves and I look forward to doing it again real soon! Big shout out to Chace Yamagata for making it all happen, way to go!!!!!!! Bottom line: The atmosphere, friendly people, and great service, with creative and fresh food offerings and course the wines make this a really great place anytime. Chill time especially and I highly recommend chillin' here! https://www.lebouchon.biz/ https://www.facebook.com/LeBouchonBar

While the tables are limited and the bar area accomodates around 10 people, the server to customer ratio is pretty high which explains the great service and everyone helps everyone. We arrived at 530 and one table was ready and two more freed up as we sat. Watching the food prep area was like watching fluid motion in action in a small space. Each person had their job, handing off from one station to another, a very efficient use of a very little space. The food, well, all very tasty, full of flavors, flavors that complimented one another and many textures throughout each dish. We started with beer and wine and an Antipasto Board - 2 Meats & 2 Cheeses, Warm Olives, White Beans & Baguette slices. Wow great flavors also with a little red sweet peppers and a fennel slaw of sorts, wow this was out of the park awesome. Next, we had the 3 bruschetta with tomato and Boursin cheese and also 3 with spinach, artichoke pancetta. Last, we had the Red or White Roasted Red Pepper Sauce, Italian Sausage, Whole Milk Ricotta, Mozzarella, & Crumbled Feta Cheese. We had this last time, and it was awesome as well. This place is a must stop, whether you live here or just passing through. While we also like the one in mobile, this place is a little more quiet and intimate. Definitely, will return.

Get comfortable...it's gonna be a while!…read more After my third visit, figured I had given it plenty of chances. The ambiance is great, cool set up and comfortable chairs (and you're gonna need them for the service time). Even with staff admitted "slow night," very slow service. Servers often seen on their phones rather than checking to see if another round was needed. Let down because this place could be a slam dunk. When I've eaten the food it's been good, but pricey. There's also a VIP section with sofas and chairs but a sign listed it as $50/person.

Is it a wine-liquor bar? The jukebox on the wall kind of threw us for a loop as it loudly played tons of country, sometimes repeating songs, then R&B. Decor was pretty in its colors, but once there it screamed "look upscale at cheapest options possible". Tables are laminate, floors appear laminate, but the bathrooms appear to be of higher quality options. Certain drink ingredients requested weren't available. (The server didn't know what allspice dram was; the bartender didn't even know what allspice dram was, let alone have it.) A friend requested a particular tequila, but they don't have it. He then requested a particular mezcal, and the server suggested something else. I sought out two particular Cabernet Sauvignon wines, but they don't have either of those either. I ordered an Old Fashioned made with rum instead of whiskey. I was disappointed with how sweet the drink was. After watching the bartender it's as if she's not pouring to the top of the jigger, indicating under-pouring. Maybe because "it's messy" to pour it complete. So I ordered a margarita next, thinking it's harder to mess that up-- if it wasn't great, then that tells me a lot about this place. The margarita was soooo heavy on mixer/lime juice. I don't know that I'll want to come back for cocktails. The menu and execution were both underwhelming. But hey, the decor is kind of pretty... Again, it is nicer than other options around town, but it isn't what we expected compared to what we're used to. When you sell yourself as "upscale," customers expect upscale.
