Ordered JD for lunch and absolutely all of it was disgusting. The muffuletta had a weird taste and after taste-- I say this as someone who love a muffuletta, normally. The broccoli salad was mostly red onions, sunflower seeds, and mayonnaise and absolutely no flavor. The broccoli soup was chunky and tasted like some of the broccoli had gone bad. Aside from a bite or two of each, my entire meal went in the trash and I had to figure out something else to do for lunch. Ugh. So gross. read more

Service was not a pleasant experience. The lady at the cashier was hardly audible. I tried to ask a question and she just looked at me. I felt like I was interrupting her day. I thought maybe she wasn't trying to be rude , maybe she didn't feel good but she was laughing and having conversations with co workers while we were eating. Salad bar was a mess! Ranch dressing was watered down and I scrape the bottom, no refill while we were there. Many tables were not wiped and you still see food and liquid on them. I've never had this happen there. It's always been really good! Really disappointed. Cost a lot to eat out these days. I didn't appreciate the attitude and lack of cleanliness. I hope it improves. read more

I love the salad bar and half sandwich option at Jason's. The salad bar is always fresh and has plenty of items. We also had a bowl, which I guess is the new item for most restaurants. It was also very good and more than we could eat. Lunch can be expensive, over $30 for two if drinks are ordered, but with counter service there is no server or tipping so that helps. My husband and I were in your restaurant 8/4/25. First of all one employee was talking about someone turned him in for something and he was explaining to all the employees there that he was not guilt. We ordered the salad bar and we waited a while for them to put our plates and utensils out. The customers were complaining about the freshness of the lettuce and the boiled eggs were swimming in a discolored liquid. The time we were there was 10:30am. It was just so nonprofessional for the atmosphere in the restaurant. This guy was not trying to be quite about his problem and just keep on and on. I absolutely love Jason's deli! Imagine my delight on finding one away from home?! Soooo happy Food was packed with love, ok maybe just with care...still it was awesome!! For the Celiac Community! I also posted this exact review on the "Find Me Gluten Free" app. We have eaten at Jason's Deli successfully TWICE! The staff was very friendly & helpful. GF items are clearly marked on the menu AND there are a lot of options! As we were ordering, the employees got wind of a GF order coming, and one person (the one that would be preparing our food) started taking his gloves off, washing his hands, pulling out clean utensils & put on a new pair of gloves. The food was prepped on a stainless steel bar (not the regular deli bar) Even though the one employee was clearly ready for our order, the gentleman at the register STILL flagged our ticket as "GF take precaution". The employee that prepared our food was the one that delivered it to our table. THANK YOU!! Now, having said all of that... the salad bar looks SO TEMPTING but we have never pushed our luck. Today, we seen a customer filling a to-go container (to the brim) & she was walking all over - back & forth adding to the salad with croutons & other gluten containing ingredients already on top of her salad. Food is good but restroom is unacceptable. Dirty, one stall in working order with the other stalls latch broken. Broken soap dispenser comes off the wall. It has been this way for more than a year. I would eat here more often, but when a restroom is dirty and in need of repair, it makes me question the cleanliness of the restaurant Please make this right! Made eye contact with a worker who failed to acknowledge I was standing there (while smoking a vape preparing food) Yes an actual vape!!! A minute or so later I asked "is anyone taking the orders?" Stopped in after Dr. Appt.. Needed some soup, which was awesome. Chicken pot pie is a must try..... Berry yogurt was a great choice as well... the warmth of the soup soothed the throat..... Very nice Jason's Deli. It is conveniently located right off of the highway. I visited with my husband and 2 kids. My kids love the kids meal options. And I love that they offer gluten free and organic options. I had the salmon sandwich which was very tasty but a little spicy. My 7yo had a gf turkey sandwich with aioli dressing on it my 4yo had the gf chicken nuggets. Both had the organic apples for a side with organic apple juice to drink. All of the gf items were clearly labeled. Overall a great stop...very clean including bathrooms. read more

I'm someone who cares about the sweet tea (prefer they not be overly sweet with a slightly stronger brew), lol and they did not let me down. I absolutely love this deli! Options! Options! Options! Do you want fresh salad bar? Paninis? Club sandwiches? Baked potatoes? Pasta? Soup? More? The options are endless. I have a few favorites from Jason's I love to order and can never go wrong with. The chicken ranchero wrap is always a go to, followed by The Irish potato soup and the chicken pot pie soup on a cold day. They are both extremely tasty. My husband definitely enjoys their clubs sandwiches. Oh and he loves the free ice cream! He loves to lap it up!!! The salad bar is the best around! Forget any competition in the city, Jason's is fresh and is teeming with options. Never once have I gone into this establishment and the lettuce, or other veggies not been fresh. I was even pleasantly surprised about their pasta. One evening, we were looking for somewhere new to take my niece. She had never had Jason's. I knew she'd enjoy a sandwich or pasta or something. We always love the food at Jason's deli. I was so happy to find one after moving here from out west. I love the big beefeater which is basically a French dip. They have cheap meals for the kids ($3-4) and since my kid are bigger and eat more I added a fruit and veggie plate (new) for $4 which made both them and me happy. The salad bar looks pretty yummy and there's a sign in it that says you're allowed free garlic roasts which tided is over til dinner was ready. The free ice cream is a nice plus too. I was surprised there weren't more people dining here but I guess the area is a little over saturated with restaurants. read more

This is my favorite place to eat because I have celiac disease and have to be careful about cross contamination. The employees know what to do to keep my food safe. I tell them I have a gluten allergy and they change their gloves, etc. There are a bunch of gluten free options... all the potatoes... but my favorite is the Big Chef salad. Nice new restaurant to open in Mobile. It was relatively busy the day i went. Ordering was smooth and easy. We were greeted with menus at the entrance which cut out any frustration we would have ordering. They do have a separate station for you to order take-out. There menu has a great variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches to choose from. I had the club royal sandwich with chips. It's a very good sandwich to try. They also have a salad bar tht you can order and fix your own salad. After ordering, they will bring your order to your table. Service was pretty quick. They also have ice cream available to top off your dining experience. Besides the ice cream, there are bakery offerings such as cheesecake and other different cakes. I like that they offer half sandwich/soup/salad combos. They don't offer any wifi, so it's not like a hub where you can really brings books, chat, and drink coffee like some similar places. Hubby and I really enjoy the salad bar at Jason's Deli! If we are near it during lunch, odds are we are going to pop in and have a healthy bite to eat. Pair it with a cup of one of their soups and you have an ideal meal. The salad bar offers a green mix, spinach & romaine. Normally it has everything from beets to broccoli to cucumbers to tomatoes to zucchini for toppers. There are several bean blends that are great on their own! They have at least 8 salad dressings and are constantly adding new ones! They also have nuts and other toppers! Definitely sample the humus- it is one of my personal favorites. I have tried the potato soup, the gumbo, the broccoli cheese, the veggie soup and the tomato basil. All of them are very good! Keep in mind that the salad bar is endless, so you can keep going back if you are really hungry for your veggies! The staff is very friendly or maybe they just recognize us from eating there so often. Just kidding, they are very nice! Drum roll...and you get free ice cream! My boss and I ate at this location yesterday and today. Yesterday, I ordered the manager's special and a cup of soup with a regular drink. My total was a little over $16.00. We were so impressed and pleased with the salad bar that we went back today. My boss ordered the exact same thing I had yesterday, but the cashier Theresa told him it was $22.17. We both expressed our earnest surprise and confusion at the difference in pricing from one day to the next. We both just ordered less expensive options and went to fill our drink cups. When I went back to the counter to get my salad bowl, I heard Theresa telling another employee behind the counter that my boss and I were just not letting it go about the pricing, which is not remotely the way we handled it. I am not impressed with the lack of professionalism displayed by Theresa. My boss and I will not be back to this restaurant due to the expense of lunch items and the way that Theresa handled our orders. I have never written a bad review before but I just found this to be so unfair to us both. I don't know who can afford a $22 lunch every day, especially one that consists only of a half sandwich, 8 ounce cup of soup, and a side salad. read more

But this is my go to sandwich place when I am on the way home after work and want something semi healthy. I always get a ham and cheese sandwich with a side of fruit. My hubs loves the club sandwich with chips. I went by here and picked up take out when we went to see Elf in Cathedral Park in downtown Mobile. I ordered a piece of strawberry cake too and it was delicious! Probably the best piece I have had in a quite some time. And I LOVE strawberry cake. This location always has the friendliest staff that help me with my order every time I call in. They recommend seasonal soups and dishes that I normally end up trying. It is always clean, the salad bar always looks impressive, and my food is always fixed appropriately. Granted, its hard to screw up a ham and cheese sandwich but I appreciate the time they take in making sure all the food is wrapped well. read more
