My husband got the southwest salad and I got the Caesar salad. They were both delicious. Everything was incredibly fresh and so tasty. We really liked the Salad Girl dressings as well. I'm super picky about salads, and if it's not fresh, then I'm not interested. This was easily the best salad I've ever had. My Mother has been having their lettuce delivered practically since the beginning and I am always impressed with the freshness and flavor. It's less than a mile west of the 35 and equipped with a drive-thru option. There are lots of pastries and sandwiches, WiFi for interior seating, and super cool T-shirts. There are many nursing homes and elderly people living in Story City, and if you need a place loaded with kindness to get away for a little bit, this is the place.
