    Açaí Bowl
    Stephanie S.

Breakfast of champions! I ordered the açaí bowl for pick-up. Two ladies welcomed me in and directed me to my order. The açaí bowl was just what I needed. Refreshing and delicious! The establishment had a great vibe and I was in-n-out.

I really wanted to love this place. Stopped in just before picking up my son from school so I got us both a smoothie. I got the Pomegranate Plunge, first off it was WAY too sweet & the bananas over powered the whole smoothie. I babies the drink for most of the night & still was only able to drink half. I got my son the Peanut Butter Cup. He was so excited & said it reminded him of pb & banana sandwiches. But just like mine the over powering banana couldn't be dealt with, I honestly don't think he drank more than 5 or 6 drinks. I wish there was more sizes & a way to add all these different additional items like chai or oats. Will I be back, at leas once since they have a free smoothie for ordering through the app but that may be it.

MANGO BERRY COSMO SMOOTHIE ($6.49) legit the best summer smoothie ever. Pictured with MANGO MAGIC ($5.69)

Giving it 5 stars because I happened to wander in and the very first thing I got was the seasonal "Mango Berry Cosmo" with mangos, strawberries, cranberry, and lime. It's probably the best smoothie I've ever had, including stuff from Smoothie King and Jamba juice. If you come in from 7-9 AM, the smoothies are two dollars off (3.59 + tax). Otherwise you'll end up paying $13 for two smoothies. Also pictured is the "Mango Magic" with mango, pineapple, and non-fat yogurt. It was okay, like a watered down, smoothie version of an Indian mango lassi.

First time customer and will definitely go back! I ordered the Veggie hummus wrap and was extremely pleased. Fresh tomatoes, creamy quacamole, soft rice, crisp lettuce, well seasoned black beans and hummus made me smile! I also ordered a mango smoothie and was just as impressed. Customer service was great and I received my order within 9 minutes. I am planning on going back asap!

First time here, was looking for a chia bowl, but found smoothie with chia and it was delicious and refreshing! Definitely coming back for smoothies again.

Came here looking for something different for good. This is a review only on my experience and their food. I'm sure their smoothies are their big sellers here but the food takes a backseat on things to do well. Located in a shopping strip and hidden at the very end near La Madeleine with plenty of parking. Came in for lunch and the place was fairly busy, no one at the register but the staff was busy making smoothies. I came in and stared at the menu and gentlemen came over from the smoothies area and took my order. I ordered the turkey apple dijon sandwich and he asked fruit or chips and I got chips. Sat down and it took about 5-10 mins to get the to go order. Got back to my office and realized I didn't have any chips. Doh!!!!! Oh well, I wasn't going to go back for em. The sandwich ran $7.78 and for what you get, it is nothing special. It was a decent sandwich but felt it was worth closer to $5. The flavors were good but just didn't have that je ne sais quoi to make it a great sandwich. *shrug*

Love the flavors however, if you have ANY allergies you may want to steer clear. Although they were very accommodating, having anaphylaxis to a multitude of items personally, I was a bit scared to drink my smoothie. Being as busy are made sure their items were fresh, but the items were "slopped" out into their blenders-which only appears to get a cursory water rinse between mixes. I did ask for my blender to be cleaned and I was told it would be sterilized-not sure about that-and also reminded them multiple (trying not to be THAT customer) times about my allergies. I swear I taste artificial sweetener-which I also asked to be removed due to an allergy. Very busy and fast oases this Sunday afternoon, clean restaurant and polite employees!

Smoothie came out super quickly, despite it being pretty busy. Food took about 20 minutes longer but was delicious. The wrap and smoothie combo for $9.99 is quite a deal! I'll absolutely be back.

Point of sale kiosk for customers to input card payment is preset to, and automatically adds a 20% tip to the total charge. There are other tip amounts listed on the kiosk screen but when consumer attempts to change this to a different tip amount, the kiosk would not allow it to be changed and processed my payment with this preset, therefore "mandating" a 20% tip in order to accept my payment. I find this to be a very offensive and deceitful business practice. I have made my financial institution aware of this and have contacted Tropical Smoothie Corporate office formally requesting a full and immediate refund of this amount. After 7 days I received no response, and was forced to contact store manager directly and after multiple attempts, much headache and hassle, I was credited my fraudulently charged amount. I Just wonder how many people are getting hit with these fraudulent charges and don't even pay attention. Buyer beware of this Company.

This little gem is a great spot to get a quick, light lunch and have a smoothie as well. They have sweet combo prices for lunch and a smoothie. I really enjoyed the food I ordered and the smoothie was pretty much the best smoothie I've ever allowed in my belly. Don't mess up and just get food and leave that delicious smoothie in it's raw form. I can't wait to go back!

This particular spot is a deli sandwich place; they do have some standout choices, but I was craving tuna, so I ordered their Pacific Blue (Tuna Melt). Loved that they toasted the buns; it was good but didn't wow me. They skimped on the cheese and didn't add the jalapeños I requested. Service was incredibly slow, but there was a huge rush-hour crowd, so I'll overlook it. All in all, the theme is cool. Loved that they had vendors and music available the day we went; it gave us an opportunity to have something to do while we waited. I did spot board games, but naturally didn't think we'd need them. The goo ball was overly buttery and definitely had peanut butter. It was good for the first couple of bites but I quickly tossed it afterward once it became too much. If a deli is your thing, give it a try. I'm sure on any other given day they'd be better at delivering a sandwich with everything.

The oldest sub shop in Texas is not a title you stumble into, and one visit makes it clear they've earned it. First, the parking situation, because someone has to say it. The spots up front are scarce and competitive. Don't give up, there's additional parking in the back with its own entrance. File that away before you go, or you'll spend ten minutes circling a strip that has not gotten larger since the 1970s. And speaking of the 1970s, the interior leans fully into its vintage identity. Small, dark, and unapologetically retro, it feels like a sub shop that missed the memo on modern restaurant design and decided it didn't care. Honestly, respect. Now, the subs. Galligaskin's cuts their own meat and cheese in house and bakes their rolls fresh daily, which is the kind of thing that sounds like marketing until you take a bite and realize it actually matters. The roast beef and cheese, loaded with toppings, is a proper sandwich. The house-made Galli Oil and pickled pepper finish that goes on every sub is the secret weapon - not spicy, just deeply flavorful, the thing that makes each bite a little better than the last. We also tried the burger, which came as a genuine surprise. A sub shop doing a burger well feels like it shouldn't work, but here we are, soft bun, flavorful patty, no notes. For sides, the Tater Tots are the undisputed champion of the table. Crispy shell, fluffy interior, the ideal tot. The fried okra was a strong runner-up, well breaded and served with ranch. The French fries, however, were a swing and a miss. They looked the part, golden, fresh cut, promising - and then arrived soggy. A limp fry is a tragedy in any zip code, and these were no exception. No one wants a sad potato. Order the tots. Skip the fries. You've been warned. Galligaskin's in the real deal, a Fort Worth original that's still earning its reputation one fresh-baked roll at a time. One last night: they're closed on Sundays, so plan accordingly. A cruel fact to discover in the parking lot.
