My wife and I have come here for many years now. The food always been decent and the smoothies are great. However, the staffing has changed and the crew members are rude. My wife ordered a tai chicken wrap and they made her the Caribbean Jerk Wrap. When went wife brought it back, because the Caribbean jerk was too spicy, they said it was probably the sauce and then looked at us weird. The time we came in before this too, we came in around 6:45 on a Saturday. We brought our kids and sat down to eat, they stared us down like "why are you here". We will be avoiding this location moving forward, which is really unfortunate. This place has been a regular stop and our kids love the food. I really wanted to love this place. Stopped in just before picking up my son from school so I got us both a smoothie. I got the Pomegranate Plunge, first off it was WAY too sweet & the bananas over powered the whole smoothie. I babies the drink for most of the night & still was only able to drink half. I got my son the Peanut Butter Cup. He was so excited & said it reminded him of pb & banana sandwiches. But just like mine the over powering banana couldn't be dealt with, I honestly don't think he drank more than 5 or 6 drinks. I wish there was more sizes & a way to add all these different additional items like chai or oats. Giving it 5 stars because I happened to wander in and the very first thing I got was the seasonal "Mango Berry Cosmo" with mangos, strawberries, cranberry, and lime. It's probably the best smoothie I've ever had, including stuff from Smoothie King and Jamba juice. If you come in from 7-9 AM, the smoothies are two dollars off (3.59 + tax). Otherwise you'll end up paying $13 for two smoothies. Also pictured is the "Mango Magic" with mango, pineapple, and non-fat yogurt. Decent place for healthy lunch. Ordered online and picked up. Very few in Texas take COVID precautions and this place is no different. Order ahead and you order is on a pick up shelf. Grab napkins and silverware-they don't put it on your to go bag. Got smoothies, salad, grilled cheese and hummus wrap. No silverware so we couldn't eat the salad. We selected no bacon on the grilled cheese and it came with bacon so that was not edible by the vegetarian who ordered it. Was ok. Sat down and it took about 5-10 mins to get the to go order. Got back to my office and realized I didn't have any chips. Doh!!!!! Oh well, I wasn't going to go back for em. There are other tip amounts listed on the kiosk screen but when consumer attempts to change this to a different tip amount, the kiosk would not allow it to be changed and processed my payment with this preset, therefore "mandating" a 20% tip in order to accept my payment. I find this to be a very offensive and deceitful business practice. I have made my financial institution aware of this and have contacted Tropical Smoothie Corporate office formally requesting a full and immediate refund of this amount. After 7 days I received no response, and was forced to contact store manager directly and after multiple attempts, much headache and hassle, I was credited my fraudulently charged amount. I Just wonder how many people are getting hit with these fraudulent charges and don't even pay attention. Buyer beware of this Company. read more

I went for the rustic turkey & apple club a green apple and I upgraded to the blimey Limey smoothie which I'm so gonna order again that was so yummy. While I have never stepped foot into this place but I LOVE THIS PLACE! I'm on my feet all day everyday and it's so hard to get something to eat. On the Food side there is Tacos, Flatbreads, Wraps, Sandwiches and Salads. I ordered the Cilantro Lime Fish taco (grilled tilapia, cabbage and roasted pineapple salsa) and it was fresh, healthy and delicious. I also tried the Korean BBQ steak Taco(steak, cucumber and kale slaw and sweet Asian BBQ sauce) which was pretty good. I wish the steak had been a little more tender. On tacos pick 2 for $5.49 or 3 for $7.99. My son ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch from the Sandwich portion of menu. The sandwiches are $6.99 and come with a side. You choose from house made fruit medley, kale and apple slaw or chips. You can go to the Smoothie side of the menu and add any flavor for $3.00 to create a combo. We did. We tried the Sunrise sunset smoothie ( strawberry, pineapple, mango) it's so good. I ordered the mocha madness smoothie and it was just right. Be prepared, the smoothies are in a 24 oz. cup. To begin with the crew did not welcome us at all, we got recommended a sandwich and did not taste good so we ask to get it replaced but the manager refused and was very rude about it. Quite surprised I'm smitten with healthy goodness. I like that they have an assortment to choose from such as smoothies, wraps, flatbread, bowls etc. Everything taste wonderful and usually has a calorie count (nutrition info) so I can keep myself in check when ordering/overordering. Some of my favorite picks Chicken Pesto Flatbread, Caribbean Jerk Bowl, Hummus Veggie Bowl, and Baja Bowl. Smoothie Choices are Strawberry Granola, Blimey Limey, Island Green. I haven't tried them all but they are all good. I tend to add a smoothie to my meal for an additional $2 so I can save for later. This is probably my new favorite place by my job. For food I had the fish tacos and they were fab and super filling. Made fresh and I was very pleased. The other item I had was the Avocadolada smoothie. It has spinach and kale, avocado, coconut, and pineapple in it and it's super tasty. They do have a free app and when you sign up you can get $5 off your order. Store your credit card on the app and pay with it and you can get points so that you cna work towards getting a free smoothie. Totally love this place and the healthiness.
