Formica tables, vinyl chairs and booths dot the perimeter. With its location just outside of the Ft. Stewart gate this location gets packed at lunch. They have a drive thru window, too. Customers order at the counter for their custom made sandwich. Plenty of fresh toppings to choose from, an array of chips, drinks and an assortment of cheeses and meats, too. My go to has always been the American Army or Italian Battalion sandwiches. Today's American Army was as yummy as I always remembered with turkey, ham, roast beef, cheese and all the veggie & condiment toppings, too. Once upon a time my family would stop here for their family size subs, party cut to take to the July 4th evening celebration on Ft. Stewart. We'd picnic, listen to the band and enjoy the fireworks!
