He asked us if it was our first time there and that made us feel more comfortable as we didn't know the menu. He asked us what we were looking for and we said something to eat. He explained two of his favorite food items and my wife and I chose one of his recommendations. It was the Everything Avocado Toast. It was simple and tasty. Avocado and Tomato sprinkled with a blend of Everything Seasoning. I think some oil too? It was very good. We did add some of our own sauce at home but we were very satisfied. The only thing we didn't like is that the bread was not toasted. The atmosphere, cleanliness and layout of the establishment are excellent. The owner or employees were professional and very friendly. We will be returning soon!

I was greeted right away upon entry and order taken immediately. The place was very clean and offered aesthetics there's lots of signage for you to figure out their options, there was very limited options for the smoothie bowls but very many options for smoothies and juices. I ordered the açai tropical mango bowl. It was just OK maybe I'll go back and try something else. Specifically a smoothie if you're in the area definitely try them out.

He was doing his absolute best and deserves to be making double what I'm sure he makes hourly. This was my first time going to smoothie king, as soon as I walked in I saw how busy it was, there were at least 10 people inside. I was waiting in line to order when I realized that there was only one kid working and he was practically running around with more and more orders spewing out, mind you with no rubber mats on the tile floor. I was constantly worried he was going to fall and hurt himself. The lady in front of me started to complain that he was taking so many pick up orders and not taking any orders for the people waiting in line. He calmly explained that he was just trying to catch up on orders that had been placed before we had come in. This kid probably made a dozen smoothies by himself just while I was there. The management/owners should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for putting their employees in this position. Not only is this super nice kid having to work his butt off trying to complete these orders in a timely fashion, but he also has to be the one to deal with all the complaints from customers blaming him for something that is absolutely not his fault. While I was walking out one of the other customers was telling me that before I came in there was a lady giving him an extremely hard time for not making her smoothie fast enough. I would also like to say this poor kid was doing all of this with a smile on his face and was overly kind about the situation. Truly, management should be embarrassed about the position they are ok putting their employees in, plus I'm pretty positive it's illegal to not have rubber mats on the floor by ice machines and sinks because of how easy it is to slip

Samples at every turn; fruits, chips and guac, salads, smoothies, fresh juices and horchata. Isles are jam packed with shoppers. Could not find the turkey chorizo but I know it generally sells fast. There was more variety of fish and fresh seafood in here than any other Pete's store I've visited. I did end of grabbing a few items, so I stood in line without a basket. One case of Coke for my husband, large bag of jasmine rice and some yogurt. It was more of a juggling act. Absolutely, nothing is on sale. The registers kept freezing, so we were ushered to other lines. Parking is another story; you are waiting to get into a spot, waiting to get out of that spot and fussed at in the process. I anticipate parking improving only slightly as Petes is in a great location.

We dared to go on Opening Day and we were glad we did ... it was cold and there was a line, but it was worth the wait. If you like Pete's stores, you are going to like this one. Even though it was opening day, the staffing and number of employees working every part of the business was really amazing. There was an employee in every single aisle to answer questions or head you off in the right direction. Every cash register was being used, and each checkout line had a bagger to speed things along. Besides staff helping all through the store, management was all around to keep everything in top form. The store layout is great ... when you come in the first thing you'll be greeted by (along the south wall) is the huge section devoted to all the fresh fruit and vegetables (FFV); this seems to be a hallmark of the Pete's Fresh stores. All the meat and dairy products line the back wall (west wall) and part of one side on the north wall, leading to all the freshly prepared foods ... rows and rows of serve yourself items where you can put together lunch and/or dinner to go. In between the FFV at the entrance and the food to go on the north wall are numerous aisles with all the standard stuff. The aisles are wide enough so carts can pass each other; all the shelves are blocked and fronted with product. Our favorite thing seems to be a standard for Pete's Fresh stores ... they always tailor their product offerings to the neighborhood they are in. Thus in Bridgeview you have a large section of Halal and Middle Eastern meats and products, and a slightly smaller section on Polish and Eastern European foods. Here in Orland they have a large section of international products ... we counted four or five aisles devoted to international foods. Once again ... if you like the Pete's Fresh concept, you are going to love the new Pete's Market in Orland Park. Recommended.

We got the seafood tower for 2 and it come with 2 dips and bread and everything was Devine!!!! An absolute mouth heaven for seafood lovers. The top tier was fried calamari, lobster tail split in 2 and 2 giant shrimp with this spicy tomato dipping sauce. The bottom tier was a bed of delicious spicy yellow rice with 3 different kinds of fish, shrimp and mussels. Every single thing I put into my mouth was excellent!!! Our server Ferris (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was absolutely amazing. Funny, knowledgeable, he explained everything that we were eating and telling us about the buffet that they offered. He was tentative and nice. The decor was sooooo beautiful and romantic as well. We sat on these super comfy round cushion chairs over these beautiful round lights and it was dim enough to feel a wonderful atmosphere and romantic but bright enough to see our food. The entire experience was wonderful and if I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. I will recommend this place to anyone who loves Mediterranean food or seafood and I will 1000% be back. This is my new favorite place!! Thank you for a great date night experience for hubby and I!

I think the owner may have been at the door that day and seemed a bit frazzled (understandable). Also, a sign that says please wait here to be seated. When we arrived we didn't know where to stand so we went to the other side of the front desk and were somewhat scolded and redirected to go back around and wait. It was pointed out there was another family waiting to be seated. Hmm. But it was a busy day so we let that go. Fortunately we didn't wait long to be seated. The waiter, although not to experienced, was trying hard and answered all our questions. When we placed our order we were informed several items were not available. Hmmm. It was still early in the day, how do you not have the items. We ordered humus. DELICIOUS!!! Spanish Octopus with white rice, combination plate with lamb, steak and chicken plus the white rice, and finally lamb chops with white rice. Problem the octopus was served first it had superb flavor and not rubbery at all. That was my son's meal. Then about 5 mins later came my meal, the combination which was deliciously seasoned and the chicken was moist!! Finally 5-10 mins later the waiter came and told my daughter that the kitchen failed to tell him there were no lamb chops. So disappointed. They apologize and she ordered the combination plate which came about 10 minutes later. Needless to say my son and I were done with our meal. Problem: initially when we got the hummus we ate it but had to drink water because our drinks didn't come till I got my meal. I reminded the waiter and he explained they had to make the drinks. habiscus water and a mint lemonade. Hmmm Problem: when my son got his octopus, he didn't get a knife and I had to give him my steak knife so he could cut his octopus legs. Finally when we got the bill, we were being charged for the lamb chops!!! Needless to say Al Bahar was recommended by Albawadi Grill waitress. And yes the food is terrific! Even the white rice makes my mouth water. But the service and consistency needs much improvement. Although the waiter apologized, at no time were we offered some type of compensation for all the inconveniences experienced. Not that it's required nor do I expect it but it would've been a nice gesture. The table next to us complained loudly and they were offered free food. We complained subtly and no type of courtesy was extended. Do I recommend. Yes for pick up order the food is scrumptious and No I do not recommend dine in experience. They have much to improve! Goto Al Bawadi instead!! Their food is delicious, the service is very friendly and the humus and fresh made pita unbelievably delicious!

The coffee selections are numerous, and you can get them on the strong side or a bit weaker. They also have a number of pastries that can delight your taste buds ... the only glitch we saw was that they did not have a large selection of croissants. For example, we could not get just a plain croissant. But even given that, this was a very nice coffee stop for those that really like good coffee. The dining room was nice and large, with many different sections to settle into with your coffee. Loads of outlets to plug in your lap top if you come with one for a little work. Staff was very friendly, and it is pretty much an order at the counter and get your coffee. They don't need a large staff to run this place, as it pretty much runs itself other than the coffee-master. Give this place a try.
