I did an online order, when I got to the location I found out that one of my drinks was not going to be made because it was discontinued. I was not aware until I tried to order another drink while waiting. I bummed I could not order a smaller drink because I was no aware there was only one size. When I got my order home, I found out that I did not get what wrap I ordered. I called location to have to speak to two different people who decided they will make a new sandwich for me. The Detox Island Green only tasted like KALE!! no other flavors was I to taste. The Sunrise Sunset only tasted like orange juice. The Paradise Point only tasted like bananas that were not fully ripe. This was our first experience from Tropical Smoothie Cafe. And truly will be the last. I would rather eat McDonalds than this. Place. I truly should have read the reviews for this location. What a waste of $30 bucks. My husband and I decided to try this place out since it was so close to our house and he really enjoys smoothies, but boy am I disappointed and unsatisfied. My husband ordered the island green which tasted a bit bland, but it wasn't HORRIBLE. THe island green though I'd give a 4/10. Wasnt very fresh, you can taste the green , but it wasn't very exciting. The lean machine however was a complete abomination. It tasted like strawberry banana sprayed cardboard and a hint of saw dust. I'm not joking. The "energizer and fat burner", as listed on the menu, might be the reason why the smoothie is failing in taste , quality and excitement, but they can't even cover it up with any kind of sugars. 2 smoothies cost about 17$. Over priced much? I can understand if it was Jamba Juice because at least they guarantee the taste of freshness, but what a terrible experience this was . Went there for the first time today and have to say it was pretty good. The place was essentially spotless and the workers were pretty nice. The smoothie that I also got was pretty good as well. The worker completely filled it to the top and it tasted amazing. However, the Smoky Grilled Cheese sandwich I got wasn't really up to par. First off, I asked for the tomato sauce on the side and it came with it already on the sandwich which I really didn't mind. The sandwich was decent, but for $7 I feel like I could've gotten a better tasting one. All in all, I would go here again but maybe not as much as other places. read more

I have never been to a place where they get every single thing you ordered WRONG! I ordered online and it told me to be there by a certain time. I get there a little after the time and still had to wait 10 plus mins for all of my stuff. They did NOT have the sides they said they had online and they messed up my smoothie two times and by the time I left it was STILL WRONG, I was tired and just got off work so I was ready to go and so i just left it alone. I get home to eat my food and I see it was a wrap with only cheese and shrimp everything I ordered was missing in the wrap. If they did not have any of the stuff they said they had they could've just refunded me my money or gave me an option to order something else instead of just putting anything in there. Smoothies are great! Service is terrible, they take a while to great when pulling up through drive thru and same at the window you have to wait 5-10 mins to pay for the order. I typically order a Caribbean jerk chicken at tropical smoothie Café however this time they were out of the jerk sauce and so I did my best to peruse through the menu to identify a new item to try to which I found. I chose to give the Thai wrap a try (as their sign stated..."we may be out of items due to the national shortage and it's a great time to try something new"). That was probably not the best decision because that was not enjoyable at all. I took one or two bites and threw it away. I returned to the register to order a smoothie because I figured I can't go wrong with a smoothie and at least I'll be able to have some type of nutrients on my stomach for lunch. I was wrong in this effort as well. I ordered the island green and that's all it tasted like was green. I kindly ask the staff to make it again to which she did and it taste like water and green so that will be my last time giving tropical smoothie Café a try. I don't usually write reviews but this this place has the worst service I have ever experienced I just couldn't help myself. I was so happy for this to open up since it is closer to my house but I'd rather drive the extra 20 minutes for better service. I sat at the drive thru for 10 minutes with no response. This isn't the first time they have failed to answer while I was at the drive thru. This has happened 3 times now and I should've learned my lesson. I came inside and didn't get helped for another 5 minutes. One worker was just in her phone in front of me which was very unprofessional. And the other worker said she was unable to help me for who knows what. When I finally ordered the worker was slouched over and whispering under her breathe. I didn't even know she was talking to me! There seems to be no management in this place and the workers are doing whatever they please and have no respect for the business or customers.
