Credit where it's due, it delivered the power. Strawberry forward, icy cold, and thick enough to feel like you're making a healthy decision without actually chewing anything. It tasted fresh, not watered down, and had just enough sweetness to make you feel like you're getting away with something. Service was quick. Order placed. Blender roared. Cup appeared. Boom. Efficiency at its finest. This isn't a life altering smoothie experience. No one is writing poetry about it. But if you need something cold, fruity, and capable of convincing you that you are fueling your body like an elite athlete, the Power Punch Plus gets the job done. Three and a half stars. He was very friendly when we looked at the check-in device and wondered what we were doing ~ he made jokes that made us feel less Luddite like. He bussed tables and sat people, and checked on things, and generally looked like the kind of manager of that Gordon Ramsay would appreciate. The menu has something for everybody! My sister-in-law had recommended the avocado toast, and I was tempted. I was also tempted by the biscuit and gravy and the eggs Benedict, which are hard for me to resist at brunch. but I reasonably only ordered one meal for me.
