The server was friendly and attentive, so though she forgot to bring a couple of small items we requested, it was easily fixed. This seems to be one of those basic American style restaurants: not with a broad or imaginative selection, nor one that I'll knock your socks off, but rather with basic food offerings of middling quality. For example, my cheeseburger and onion ring were fine, but not such that I would bring them up later when talking to a friend about restaurants in general. My wife ordered the chef salad, and it was generous, but it took up so much room on the oval plate that she risked pushing items onto the table with every bite. Bringing a second plate from the start would have been a good idea, but she fixed it by asking early for a box to bring some home, as she knew she wouldn't be able to finish it anyway. She was pleased that there was no extra charge for the packet of guacamole she requested. Sometimes it seems places up charge for every little thing. Speaking of prices, they seem elevated for what they offer, but when I thought about it, it felt high compared to what we were paying pre-inflation a year or two ago, not compared to other restaurants. So it is dependable enough so I would be willing to go back (if they are like smaller Dysarts branches they must have good pizza) but it will not be a destination restaurant for us.

This time we went all the way and ordered lobster rolls and fresh cut fries and let me tell you what..........Just order the largest lobster roll and don't look back. Being busy does not excuse verbal hostility. Multiple people in our group of 10 left reviews because we all experienced the same unacceptable behavior. Future traveling groups beware: if you order a lot of food here, expect great food but a side of absolute hostility from the kitchen--and an owner who will defend it. ---- Original Review - I was part of the group of 10 that stopped by this spot recently before heading to the airport (which is conveniently just 5 minutes away). It is truly a shame to leave a 1-star review because the food itself was excellent, and the lady taking our orders up front was incredibly sweet and accommodating. When we placed our order, she kindly informed us that the food would be coming out in batches, which we completely understood and were happy to accommodate. However, the entire experience was soured by the cook in the back. As we went up to pick up our food batches, he began making audible, angry comments from the kitchen--clearly directed at us as customers and explicitly meant for us to hear. When we later politely checked in on the remainder of the order, he openly yelled and cursed at my friends, visibly angry that a large group had ordered food. I have personally worked in high-paced, high-stress environments--including busy retail and fast paced healthcare--so I understand firsthand how overwhelming a sudden "surge" can be. But professional composure is essential. We weren't upset about a 25-minute wait for a large, $500 order--we were happy to wait for good, fresh food. The issue was the verbal and open hostility from the kitchen. If you are traveling in a group to or from the airport, be aware that simply being hungry and ordering food might be treated as a major inconvenience here. It was a very disappointing end to an otherwise joyous group trip. Have seen Fielder's Choice before when we stayed in the hotel that is in front of. The shop is behind a hotel on a long drive. Plenty of parking but confusing with the drive through line blocking people in their parking spots. Cool that they have a drive through though.
