These guys sell Christmas trees to all of the surrounding area of North Carolina. They seem moderately-priced and their trees are really nice. I would much rather go with reusable fake trees but if you need a real one then these are the guys to go to. And it's very awesome, the mission of the company. read more

They did a fantastic job trimming, netting, and loading our tree onto our car. All of the trees they had were beautiful. All of the workers were very pleasant and hardworking. They even put a cloth down on my car to prevent scratches. We used their $5 coupon from their website which made the price go down to $59 for our 7-8 ft tree. I was SO pleasantly surprised by our experience at the TROSA Christmas Tree lot across from HH Gregg in Durham this morning! I grew up going to the mountains to cut down our own tree and so I've been very hesitant to go to a Christmas tree lot in a parking lot, but with a toddler and baby on the way, I knew that going to the mountains this year was not in the cards. I also very much didn't want to get a tree from Lowe's or Home Depot... I love supporting local organizations or businesses. Anyway, I heard some great things about the TROSA tree lot in Durham and so my husband, daughter and I went to check it out this morning. We were immediately greeted by Glen who was SO nice and helpful. He asked us exactly what kind of tree we were looking for and he directed us to the area with the 6'-7' trees. We let our daughter pick out the tree she liked and we then told the staff. They took it out for us, let us spin it around to get a good look at it, and then they took care of everything from there! We brought our tree stand so they were able to trim the tree and fit it to the stand... we paid and they loaded the tree in the truck for us. All of the staff working were extremely helpful, kind, and enthusiastic. We used the printable $5 off coupon to get a discount on the tree, but made a $5 donation to TROSA at the end to thank them for their service and help. If you're not venturing to the mountains to cut down your own tree, TROSA is a FANTASTIC local choice for getting a great tree! read more

I was very pleased with our experience at this TROSA lot. They had a beautiful selection of trees and I found a lovely, chunky, 7 footer. The tree cost $52, but came down to $47 with the $5 coupon they have on their site. They have The guys working there were very friendly and helpful.. They pruned the tree, let us keep the extra branches for the mantel, nicely wrapped the tree in mesh, provided us some rags to lay in the truck (we weren't prepared), and helped us load it into the truck. The service couldn't have been better. The lights they have set over the area gives it a "magical" feel although it's in shopping center lot. I highly recommend it. read more

Our family tradition has always been to cut down a tree, but this year for one reason or another, we ended up having to go to a lot. We stopped by the Trosa lot by HH Gregg near Southpoint and picked up a 7' tree for $52. The tree lasted well beyond Christmas and as we took it down on New Year's Day, it was still fresh and not losing that many of its needles. I felt the prices were fair, especially after coming from another state where the same size tree was double the price. Plus, the fact that the money goes to a cause I believe in made the purchase even more worthwhile. Christmas comes but once a year, but this is a tree lot that I'd have no problem frequenting again. read more

Excellent service and high-quality trees. I appreciate that the trees were in water. I've never seen a Christmas tree lot do that before, and it makes a lot of sense. The tree we purchased is the best we've ever had. It's so thick and beautiful, it looks like a fake tree. Once we selected our tree, the staff eagerly gave the bottom a fresh cut, wrapped it, and loaded it on top of our minivan. They even had a protective film to go underneath the tree, and they tied it down with convenient knots that we could easily undo at home. I've never had such good service. At the end I gave them a tip and donated to their cause. I didn't know this before, but TROSA helps people in need. read more

After being told that the register was closed so I was welcome to come back tomorrow to purchase the $100 tree I picked out at 8:45 p.m. I decided to write a review stating this fact. Without saying a word to any employees there or having anything said to me just quietly sitting in my car riding a review about this incident I was confronted by police officers. Officers at this point asking what my problem was and telling me that it would be best if I left the area. I'm not going to pretend that I've never gotten cranky at employees for but I can assure you this evening I was quite calm and level-headed and decided to use social media to vent my displeasure. Alas I go home with no Christmas tree run off by police officers for simply trying to buy my family a nice tree for Christmas at the same time trying to do something I thought was a helpful cause. I believe Ebenezer Scrooge would be a better tree salesman than trosa, bah humbug! read more

This is the third year in a row my family has come to this Christmas tree lot. We are never let down. We have checked out Home Depot and Lowes but the price is almost the exact same but you can't see the quality of the trees. They have so much staff here that you never have to ask for help, it's always just there. And they are probably the most courteous people I've ever met. I brought my stand with me and they helped me pick a 7' tree, trimmed it and wrapped in mesh. The cost was $52 and they have a $5 off coupon on their website. I chose to have the tree delivered. The charge was the $20 minimum (based on distance). It was delivered and set up in my living room within 30 minutes of leaving the lot. The employees were warm, friendly, and very helpful.
