The one downside was that the employee who helped us was relatively new and had us do our tastings from sweet to dry, instead of dry to sweet. She did say that she was trained this way but it threw me off. Luckily, the owner came in and we were able to ask some questions. When I questioned the thought process of going from sweet to dry - he quickly corrected our remaining samples and made a note to do some retraining. I enjoyed that this was a family owned winery. Even the kids were studying subjects in college to allow them to be part of the business as well. I loved the theme of time. Our group ended up leaving with several bottles and I would definitely recommend this winery to others.

Although they've been here for only a short while, they currently craft their wines at @lincolnwayvineyards --a place we love and have missed visiting. I absolutely loved the "Satisfaction" red wine. It's a dry, oaked wine with aromas of dark fruit, made from French-American hybrid DeChaunac grapes originating from New York, and it boasts a 13.1% ABV. Another standout was the "After Midnight," which reminds me of a saying my parents used when I wanted to extend my curfew in high school: "Nothing good happens after midnight." This wine is the exception. It's a semi-dry, floral aromatic wine, also originating from New York, on the sweeter side with a 2.5% residual sugar and a 12.3% ABV.
