We passed it a couple times around the block as we had no idea it was pretty much a garage like location built on a house. It's such a cool idea and very comfortable, relaxing environment. They had great beer choices! The coffee blonde was amazing and we also enjoyed the coconut beer. I closed my eyes and imagined the waves on my feet. It's worth a visit if it's not out of the way for you, and if you wondered about popping in - do it. The beer is not "just okay" - it's good beer, and worth trying it all. So I'm not often in the area, but I was visiting their fair (before the Wooster Fair Grounds) and crossed the street in the rain to have a beer while my girlfriend and her cousin chatted at her booth. I'm pretty sure I've had their beers before - it's been a long while. But what I ordered? Spot on. I opted for ciders, shandys, and the peanut butter porter. The Apple Pie Cider was sweet (not overly) and easy to drink (a win for me). The shandys - while not taking my love of Ill Mannered's Ill Manna Shanda - were VERY tasty, and the peanut butter porter was roasty peanut flavor and porter, WITHOUT the usual thickness/syrupy that can follow the style (I hate to say "thin" because it makes it sound like it "lacked flavor" but it was the texture and flavor I wanted in the beer!) It wasn't busy (blame the rain) but the staff was friendly and fast, and if I'm nearby again, I'm DEFINITELY grabbing another pint.

The beer that Steve and I had was the Red Band which is a lager which I enjoy the majority of the time. Flavors to find with hopefully fun involved are malty, sweet (a natural sweetness probably from the flaked corn involved), hoppy, crisp and clean in the finish. Typical for this beer type it was light bodied also. Swag was indeed purchased here as I knew the likelihood of this happening was high and I got a very nifty t-shirt from the transaction.
