Why...have...we...never...been...here⁉ It's 20 minutes from home and we have never stopped. What a mistake that was! Quaint, cute, cozy little place that sits back a dirt lane Of course we had to do a wine tasting and if it were up to me, we would have bought all the ones we tried. I settled on my 2 favorites.....for now Tickled Pink and Bling The wine slushy was a mix of Strawberry & Coconut, so so yummy, but don't take to big a sip cause that brain freeze hurts like hell ‍

Great food, great serivce(helpful and friendly) and the wines are excellent. The pizza tasted great!! It has a comfortable atmosphere inside with plenty of tables. And a side room for a more private event. They even have a nice patio with seating around the lawn. They definitely have kept it simple and that's good!!

This was our 2nd visit to this winery. Its close to Mohican and easy to find and lots of parking. The night we visited there was live music inside and a food truck outside. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the vines. Wine selection was nice and we would visit again.

What a nice place to stop in for a drink. Wines, slushies, beer and food! We stopped in on a gloomy day and ordered a couple glasses of wine. We played a card game and had another glass! A nice place to relax and enjoy the moment.

Beautiful location and tranquil setting to have a nice glass of wine. Decent wine selection and they have wine slushees too!!! Yum!

Indoor and outdoor seating options, live music, and $1 tastings. They provide excellent service, and have a few food options such as pizza and paninis. This isn't Napa wine, but a great atmosphere and near hiking in Mohican.

Such a cute little spot by Mohican! We were camping at the state park for the weekend and wanted to eat out Saturday night and we came here. I love that you can see the vineyards from the outdoor seating! The whole place is absolutely adorable and has a very homey feel. Most of the white wines were sweet but I got the driest which pretty good and my boyfriend got a sweeter one that was lovely. I wish I would have tried a red. We enjoyed our wines from one of the outdoor picnic tables as we watched the sun set over the vineyards it was absolutely perfect! All of the staff was so friendly and helpful, feels like a very local place. They had live music as well which we loved. Our favorite part were the cute cat and dog that roamed the place that we made friends with! For food they were sadly out of the pizza by the time we came :( instead we ordered the Reuben panini & caprese panini which were both delicious. The Reuben on Rye bread was easily our favorite though especially after we added the spicy pickles that come on the side sooo good!! Love this spot

Didn't love any of the wines when we visited but it's such a cute, quaint little winery definitely worth a stop if you are in the area. They have the cutest shirts available for purchase as well:the materials are very soft and comfortable & overall great quality! #drinkugly #thebunnymademedoit

Ugly Bunny Winery is surrounded by beautiful mid-Ohio country terrain. Once you get there, just stop a second to take in the vineyard views -- it's truly a special place. The inside has a welcoming farmhouse vibe given the Edison style string lighting. Love the the smiley, accommodating bartenders too We ordered the pretzel from their new food menu. The beer cheese tasted a bit like the typical nacho cheese you get at a fair or a movie theater, but the pretzel was cooked to perfection. Great stone house mustard. We loved the cheese plate too. The wine is pretty delicious, especially if you like sweet wines. We loved the ciders though! I would love it if they had more variety of dry wines since I'm more of a fan of that kind though. They seem to sell out of their dry wines quick. Great live music. We have seen the Smith Brothers two times, and they are very talented. We seek them out now. Overall, bravo, Ugly Bunny. Thanks for putting Loudonville on the map for something outside of canoeing. Come for the $8 wine samplers, the beautiful Ohio scenery, and kind staff.

This was one of the more unique winery names that I've visited before. The winery is new. They have been around for only a single year. They had two dry reds. They were both good. They have limited wines available due to being new. If you like sweet wine they have a nice selection. The place is nice inside. They had a band setting up when we were there. We sat out on the side deck and enjoyed a glass of wine. I'd recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

Fun stop during our trip to Amish country! Staff very personable and well cleaned for COVID. Loved the margarita pizza and outdoor patio for dining

We absolutely loved this place! It was so cozy, and we actually happened to visit on the first weekend they allowed dine-in again due to Covid. On Saturday evening it is reservation only, which I thought was really smart, we had the table any time after 5:30 until 9pm. I think we arrived after 6, so it was nice knowing we would for sure have a table when we arrived. We ordered a sweet red (Down the Rabbit Hole) and a sweet white (Bling) and both were delicious. The lady who seated us was even kind enough to keep us updated on the kitchen closing a little earlier than expected when she saw we hadn't ordered food yet, which was appreciated! We ended up getting dinner and that was great as well- caprese panini with chips and an order or cheesy garlic bread. It seemed we were two of the only people in there who didn't know the other patrons, which let me know it was a local spot and that's always something we look for when trying new places! We purchased a couple bottles to go and will definitely be back!

Great find while staying to hike Mohican State Park. Our group shut the winery down listening to live music. Great stop, would recommend.

They were going to have live music as well as a food truck in the evening but we had other plans. The winery offered samples for $1. Most of our group chose 4-6 wines to try so our table looked a bit crazy with all the glasses. The one downside was that the employee who helped us was relatively new and had us do our tastings from sweet to dry, instead of dry to sweet. She did say that she was trained this way but it threw me off. Luckily, the owner came in and we were able to ask some questions. When I questioned the thought process of going from sweet to dry - he quickly corrected our remaining samples and made a note to do some retraining. I enjoyed that this was a family owned winery. Even the kids were studying subjects in college to allow them to be part of the business as well. I loved the theme of time. Our group ended up leaving with several bottles and I would definitely recommend this winery to others.

They do have food trucks at times. Still, a couple more food choices wood be nice. Maybe some different chips and dips, veggie trays or flatbreads. Has a large upper room for special events, and a small patio but plenty of green space with tables, great for entertainment with a wooded area that has a fire pit. Just maybe a few more fire pits for the colder evenings.

My wife and I took our mom out there arriving shortly after their opening on Thursday. Wish they would be open on Sunday as well, but you can't have everything in life. Ryan was bartending as he normally does. He is excellent in all regards! We particularly like his friendly professionalism and his knowledge around the cocktail bar. I started off with their barrel aged Manhattan, while my mom ordered a spiced pineapple margarita, and my wife a glass of wine. We seat at the bar for two reasons, the primary being our ability to kibitz with Ryan and others plus the fact that their specialty cocktails/bar appetizers are half off from opening till 7 PM! There was a cheese and crab dip, hot appetizer special that we ordered before our meals. It was really a rather large and delicious portion with five slices of grilled bread. Could've used a little bit more grilled bread, but we made it last. For meals, I ordered their Caesar salad, adding blackened salmon. Though salmon is not on the menu as an option. It is available if you ask. My wife and mom both ordered their small filet mignon. Our meals came out after a reasonable time and were extremely well presented and delicious! For dessert I decided on their chocolate chip cannoli while my mom and wife both ordered different dishes of gelato. What a terrific dinner out on Thursday night! I know we will be back!

Server was nice and accommodating. We sat and talked and watched some of the Olympics. Nice time for about an hour. Handful of people came in and out. What started in January as a random stop traveling back from Florida has quickly turned into one of those places that feels impossible to pass up when we are anywhere nearby. This place was busy all afternoon, and honestly, I think that says everything about what Killing Tree has built out there. Great wine, great food, live music, a beautiful property, and a crowd that genuinely seemed happy to be there. It feels less like a winery and more like a community gathering spot. Shannon took care of us this visit and was fantastic from beginning to end. The fact that she remembered me from months ago completely caught me off guard and immediately made us feel welcomed back. That kind of personal touch matters and you can tell the staff truly cares about the experience people are having. The pizza was outstanding, the BLT with turkey added on was piled high, and somehow that bottle of Gosh Dang disappeared way too fast sitting out there in the sunshine. There is just something special about this place. Relaxed, welcoming, beautiful, and incredibly easy to lose track of time at. Already looking forward to trip number three.

Gotta say, the website was much more impressive than the actual place. This wasn't too far of a drive from Dresden Inn but coming back, we got turned around because of the lack of lights, signage and skinny roads. They have plenty of parking and the string of lights outside was cute. I asked the waitress TWO times whether the sweet potato fries for the sandwich entree was extra and she confirmed TWICE that it was not an extra cost. Welp, upon paying, guess what? It was $4 extra! Just look at my picture to see that like 12 skinny AF fries are NOT worth the extra charge! Their house chips were great. I ordered the brie & jam sandwich and it was filling and delicious. I also ordered a crispy chicken salad and was pretty disappointed at the quality. I abhor cheese shavings on salad (they don't belong on salads!) and there was just mounds of very processed looking cheese. There was not enough chicken pieces for the price, too many croutons, no onion or enough tomato; just cheap lettuce. They don't serve regular glasses of water here. It was all crushed ice! We suspected they were just pre-wine slushies! This was really odd. There's not real wait service but since we sat upstairs, people needed to bring stuff up so I did tip a usual amount. I wanted to experience more of a country, made from scratch type of setting so was not too happy with the very Chilis/Applebee quality and presentation of their food.
