We stopped by this winery on a Friday afternoon and were greeted by the sweetest resident dogs! The winery has a beautiful interior tasting area with a porch that overlooks the vineyard. The winery offers $1 tastings and their prices for a glass/bottle are very reasonable. They have a large selection of sweeter wines, which we really enjoyed. Down the Rabbit Hole was our favorite! They do have some food and wine slushies as well, but we didn't try those. It appears that they have live music in the evenings which would be a nice night out! If we're in the area again, we'd definitely come back! read more

The Ugly Bunny is awesome! When we arrived, it was a food truck night and the food truck was amazing! But upon walking in the door a lovely doodle type doggo greeted us and walked with us to the bar! Their menu is organized and easy to figure out which wine is the sweetest and they had two beers on tap too. Their tap handles were made to look like the bunny with the bag on its head, I didn't get a pic but this was so cute. Staff was friendly and efficient! The location was clean and easy to access with plenty of seating available! We wish they had a location closer to Columbus! A flock of chickens also made a surprise appearance which was too cute! read more

Really neat little spot. They are very informative about their wines. Samples are only 1$. The red ryder has big blackberry notes and the down the rabbit hole tastes like grape juice. Definitely stop in and try a few then get what you like. read more

Great time at Ugly Bunny! Have so many different wines to choose from and they even have wine slushes. We also got a pitcher of sangria. We ordered some jalapeño pizza and a pretzel for lunch. It was pretty good and a nice stop in Mohican. read more

Such a cute little spot by Mohican! We were camping at the state park for the weekend and wanted to eat out Saturday night and we came here. I love that you can see the vineyards from the outdoor seating! The whole place is absolutely adorable and has a very homey feel. Most of the white wines were sweet but I got the driest which pretty good and my boyfriend got a sweeter one that was lovely. I wish I would have tried a red. We enjoyed our wines from one of the outdoor picnic tables as we watched the sun set over the vineyards it was absolutely perfect! All of the staff was so friendly and helpful, feels like a very local place. They had live music as well which we loved. Our favorite part were the cute cat and dog that roamed the place that we made friends with! For food they were sadly out of the pizza by the time we came :( instead we ordered the Reuben panini & caprese panini which were both delicious. The Reuben on Rye bread was easily our favorite though especially after we added the spicy pickles that come on the side sooo good!! Love this spot read more

Great staff, great visit and nice selection! We were staying in nearby Big Prairie for the weekend, and decided to visit the Ugly Bunny Winery, so glad that we did. We were warmly greeted upon entry and given the option to sit outside or inside. We opted for outside, shaded seating, and then migrated indoors, a bit later, due to the hot summer sun. We ordered samples, glasses, slushees, and bottles to go! My favorites were the Niagara and Bling flavors. We spent a nice leisurely afternoon at the winery. The staff was super helpful! Ugly Bunny Winery is surrounded by beautiful mid-Ohio country terrain. Once you get there, just stop a second to take in the vineyard views -- it's truly a special place. The inside has a welcoming farmhouse vibe given the Edison style string lighting. Love the the smiley, accommodating bartenders too We ordered the pretzel from their new food menu. The beer cheese tasted a bit like the typical nacho cheese you get at a fair or a movie theater, but the pretzel was cooked to perfection. Great stone house mustard. We loved the cheese plate too. The wine is pretty delicious, especially if you like sweet wines. We loved the ciders though! I would love it if they had more variety of dry wines since I'm more of a fan of that kind though. They seem to sell out of their dry wines quick. Great live music. We have seen the Smith Brothers two times, and they are very talented. We seek them out now. Overall, bravo, Ugly Bunny. This was one of the more unique winery names that I've visited before. The winery is new. They have been around for only a single year. They had two dry reds. They were both good. They have limited wines available due to being new. If you like sweet wine they have a nice selection. The place is nice inside. They had a band setting up when we were there. We sat out on the side deck and enjoyed a glass of wine. I'd recommend checking this place out if you're in the area. read more

We absolutely loved this place! It was so cozy, and we actually happened to visit on the first weekend they allowed dine-in again due to Covid. On Saturday evening it is reservation only, which I thought was really smart, we had the table any time after 5:30 until 9pm. I think we arrived after 6, so it was nice knowing we would for sure have a table when we arrived. We ordered a sweet red (Down the Rabbit Hole) and a sweet white (Bling) and both were delicious. The lady who seated us was even kind enough to keep us updated on the kitchen closing a little earlier than expected when she saw we hadn't ordered food yet, which was appreciated! We ended up getting dinner and that was great as well- caprese panini with chips and an order or cheesy garlic bread. It seemed we were two of the only people in there who didn't know the other patrons, which let me know it was a local spot and that's always something we look for when trying new places! If you were wandering the desert, or in my case; the rolling hills of Amish territory & were over joyed at discovering a water source- the Ugly Bunny Winery is like that. The scenery alone is worth the drive but the friendly staff and delicious wines are the perfect paring for an adventure. Not to forget the adorable dog that went from table to table to steal everyone's hearts. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing; there are large windows, a cozy side room and a balcony to enjoy your beverages. My spouse & I sampled all four of their sweetest wines...this is the first winery I've been to in years where I liked everything that I tried! There was a food truck, although I didn't get to try it nor expected to see one in that area. I can't wait to go back when I have more time and love on their dog & wines. read more

This place is adorable. Not too far from Mohican, a quaint wine drinkers heaven. They offer tastings for 50 cents, flights for $8 and wine by the glass for $4-$6. Even their bottle prices aren't bad ($15-$20). The wine is fantastic & the owner is very knowledgeable about her wines. Currently they don't serve food but allow you to bring in your own. Such a cute winery! They have indoor and outdoor seating. Conveniently right next to my families home. They have a great selection of wines, my personal favorite was Bing!
