Gave me both options of having the bumper painted, or not depending on unseen damages. You can go OEM parts or aftermarket which is cheaper. Thank God it didn't need to be sprayed. Their work was flawless and the rear bumper was replaced in 2 days without any hit of ever being hit. If you need a body shop anywhere in the capital region I highly recommend them. AMAZING in every way! First, let me start off by saying it was impossible to find the body shop that works on Sunroofs, but they do it! When I first dropped My car off I was told it would probably take about two weeks. They made the whole starting process super easy. Tito reached out to enterprise for me and enterprise came and picked me up. I had questions throughout the time and they always answered with respect, even though I probably was annoying. Why I expected to have it in the shop for two weeks the technicians Andrew, Jay, and Khach had it done in 6 days! They were amazing! Another thing that was different from any other place, I've dealt with all I had to do was give them the key to my rental car! I didn't have to worry about finding a ride from enterprise back to the body shop to get my car back. All I had to do was pick up my car give them the keys and leave. Khach was my contact there and I have to say - I couldn't be happier. He knew I was very upset with the accident and tried to help us out with doing the repairs to avoid having to put in a claim with our auto insurance. After assessing the vehicle, he recommended we submit through insurance because we needed to replace the bumper. He fought our insurance company to make sure this was done using all OEM parts. Super honest, fast and serious. I just had the Firestone in Albany trying to sell me new calipers, brake pads and rotors on both my rear wheels for an exhorbitant amount of money after I brought my car in just to swap my tires, being super catastrophic and telling it was really to do asap. Didn't really like the vibe of that and went to get a 2nd opinion at Troy's Best Body Shop. They told me right away that the likelyhood of both my rear calipers being bloked at the same time is very low. I dropped off my car with them on Saturday and indeed, I didn't need new calipers, just to have them cleaned/oiled and my pad and rotor changed (much less coslty than changing the calipers). My car was ready to pick up the following Monday for less than half the price I was initially quoted in Albany. STRONGLY recommend! This place really is the best. Anyone else like Anonymous P. Doesn't know wtf they're talking about and complain over the dumbest things. I drove from Miami all the way to NY on a business trip which was roughly 1,200 miles. After a few days in Albany, my car started to shake violently on my way home from work so when I arrived, I ordered my 4 new spark plugs and engine coils. I drive a 2009 Nissan Altima Sedan with 150K miles and the pieces are very common to find. After they arrived, I installed them all, and the car was STILL giving me a heavy engine vibration when I accelerated. I decided to take it to Khach's Auto Repair on 110 and 5th Ave near Florence. The old head in there tried to run me $200 JUST for a diagnostic. Maybe it's because I'm 21, he thought he would get to pay his son's tuition or something off of me, but that obviously wasn't going to happen. I had already accepted that the local mechanics are all scammers and I was JUST about to hit up YouTube to try to DIY when I ran into Troy's Best Auto Shop's review on Yelp. I showed up, and I spoke with a young guy named Katch. First thing I noticed when we spoke was the demeanor he gave off. WAYYY more inviting and less shady than that old douchebag around the block. He let me know the top 3 possibilities of my problem and after he gave me my estimate, we agreed to leave the Nissan over on Saturday to get it checked. I came back Sunday morning and to my relief, the car turned on without the violent engine shaking. It turns out my wiring was weatherd and damaged for 2/4 of the Engine coil caps in my car. The price was a little less than that old head's who had offered me sh!t at his place for nothing (not gonna post the exact price bc it's his business). Katch also let me know that my engine gasket needs to be replaced soon which I very much appreciated. I will DEFINITELY come back to get a check up on my car before I leave home to Miami. They're the only mechanics I trust from here to Schenectady. No B.S. Go see for yourself. read more

I don't know anything about the quality of the work these guys do on cars, because I never got that far. However, I can say that their customer service is terrible. I called in the day before I went to ask about getting an estimate. I was told to call back in twenty minutes because the 'boss' was out of the shop. When I called back later, I was told that I could bring in my car any time they were open to get an estimate. I'm not sure why the boss needed to tell me that information in person. When I brought my car in the next day, there was no one at the desk or even in the building, and there was no bell to ring. I waited about ten minutes, at which point the phone rang and someone finally came into the shop to take the phone call. He noticed me and came over to me after his conversation. I asked about getting my car appraised. The phone rang again, and he walked away to take the call. After that, he came back and told me that they couldn't do it because the boss had 'gone somewhere' and wouldn't be back for an hour or two. I walked out and decided to take my car anywhere but there, since apparently it's impossible for them to get anything done without this one man who is never there. read more

I just wanted to say that I got a car from this place! They were honest about everything with the history of the car, told me what was repaired and replaced on it! They even delivered the car to my door and made the whole process as convenient as it could get! After driving on a highway recently (unaware of icy road conditions that were about to start), the car was so easy to manage and the tires were (are) superb! While several people were sliding, cars slid off the roads, some were tipped over, our ride home was flawless! I haven't had any problems so far overall. Despite their shop being completely full with other vehicles, The staff at Troy's best found time to squeeze me in. The quote I received was honest, accurate, and significantly less than the other two shops I had checked prior. The shop was clean and everyone who worked there greeted me with a smile and made sure I was happy. My BMW and my fiancés Hyundai both needed body work after a bad week (we both got rear ended). The work was done early and you would never be able to tell my BMW bumper was folded in half. The new bumper was aligned perfectly and I've never seen paint match that flawlessly. The owners are honestly some of the nicest people I've ever met. I can't say enough about the excellent service. This was actually my second time dealing with them so I had to write the review. The BEST shop I've ever been to. I was at my lowest point in my life when my dad is in the hospital and I went to visit him, by the time I was about to leave my car would not start. I got it towed to Troy Best Auto Body Shop and the owner of the shop fixed it in no time. He even gave me a ride home because I had no one that can come and get me home and they came and picked me up when the car was done. I really appriciate their business. He is truly my Angel that god sent me at my lowest point in my life. I am 20 yrs old, college student, and I work full time. The time that I was ready to give up and ready to break down because of what I am going through and the problems that I am having in life at such a young age living in America by myself and had no one that could guide me, God sent me this man who pretty much told me and remind me how everything is going to be okay.
