Well, the first time dealing Troy's I had them paint my front bumper. The repair and paint was excellent with the exception of some paint dust that needed to be sanded and buffed (no big deal). Since then, (5 months ago) I had them paint other body parts for my car, and I can say the communication and quality control went downhill since that first service. I guess because I pointed out (politely) the imperfections. Sure, they fix them, but they act like I'm being picky (as if I should accept the finished product when its not done properly). So, most recent, I had brought in a rear trunk lid spoiler to be painted. I picked up the spoiler after the completion. It was very dusty, I could not inspect it throughly. Later that evening, I wiped it down and noticed a lot of imperfections under the clear coat. Once again...back to Troy's. The next day, I brought it back to have them fix it. 2 weeks later (after paying $650), I called for an update. "Oh yeah, it's ready, I forgot to call you it's been on the shelf finished"! So, they repainted it, and now I noticed a new defect that was not there when I brought the spoiler back to be fixed (a paint chip/dent on the lip of the spoiler. Since it was repainted twice there still is paint where it's chiped). I mean, really...?! I'm done with Troy's! My advice to customers is; after completion of work look over the body and paint repairs slowly and throughly!!! If you see any imperfections, have them fix it. It's a real shame the lack of quality control...!! Who and where is the person responsible for final inspections?! I WISH I HAD SPENT MY HARD EARNED MONEY$$ SOMEWHERE ELSE..!! I had body repair performed on my Mercedes at Troy's, and I couldn't be happier!!! It was fast & easy to book the service - they worked me in quickly to accommodate my schedule, and worked seamlessly with my insurance company, Mike, Braden & Lydia are genuine & friendly, and easy to work with. The car came out looking new, down to the smallest detail (including a fresh wash!). Braden was even kind enough to look into an unrelated mechanical issue, and wound up restoring it for no charge (after Mercedes had quoted me $662). How awesome is that????? He even referred me to someone for Upholstry repair, and again, that too was performed at a fraction of the price quoted by Mercedes. Troy's is now my go-to for all things auto detail! I purchased a Mercedes C300 recently and I had a couple small imperfections in the left rear door. Troy took the time to not only look but one of them was able to be buffed out and the other one is hardly noticeable after he buffed that one as well. I asked what I owed for his service and he said not to worry about it. This type of service has almost disappeared in today's economy. We had an accident in Nephi last winter due to snow and icy roads. The whole passenger side of our chevy equinox was damaged. We wanted the best repair service since we had only owned the car for 11 days! Troys was recommended by both of our sons, who are in the car business. My husband is very hard to impress. His family owned a car business for 40 years, and they were known for their clean, reliable and very good near new cars. They were extremely picky with their inventory!!!
