Traveling through I-5 stop at Weed rest-stop had an issue with my coach called all the mobile RV repair no one would come out to assist me either busy over book or whatever. My Rig couldn't move due to faulty part Troy's Mobile repair was on site within thirty minutes (wow) that was fast Troy had me up and running a little under one hour. This guy ain't playing around he diagnosed the issue so fast this technician knows his stuff. Troy's mobile RV repair has awesome rates that won't break the pocket. This is not a BS story the guy is good at what he does, I asked him about the one negative review before he started working on my coach and he was honest and up front about it one call back cost him a negative review. Troy is awesome! Our new-to-us 2002 Fleetwood motor home slide out was stuck in the extended position while parked in our driveway. When I called his shop, his wife Tiffany asked if we were planning a trip anytime soon, which we were planning to leave in a couple of weeks. Even though this wasn't an emergency for us, she set up their closest available appointment and said Troy would try to get there sooner if he finished one of his jobs earlier than planned. Two days later Tiffany called and said Troy could squeeze us in in if we were available. Troy came to our house and was able to manually crank the slide back in. He spent well over an hour going over our rig and answering our questions, but only charged us for one hour. He tried several things to get the slide to operate correctly. We still have an appointment scheduled in a week to get it fixed, but for now we can at least drive the motor home if needed. If you're ever traveling through Weed, CA. and have problems with your RV, Troy is the guys to call !!!!! I can't say enough good things about Troy and his wife for helping us out! He is an HONEST, caring good person to deal with and I would recommend him and his wife without question. The alternator mounting bracket broke and shredded my serpentine belt as I was traveling on I-5 on a sunday afternoon! We got off an exit onto some gravel with nothing around us! I tried getting a tow truck with AAA, but they failed to get one to us! I called Troy Sunday evening and he came out first thing in the morning. Welded the bracket, then drove to the nearest auto parts store in Shasta and got a belt and got me back on the road!! And all for a very reasonable price! Troy works a full time day job and we had to call his wife for an emergency repair on our RV's hydraulic system. She answered and asked for details on what was happening with the system (It was leaking fluid pretty bad when we went to level the rig and put the slides out). I explained we were only supposed to be here through the next day. She called Troy and let me know he was working tomorrow but would be out right after work to take a look. He arrived right on time went to work immediately, he did some quick troubleshooting, found the problem and had it fixed in less than 45 minutes. He then proceeded to make sure the fluid was topped off and did a full check on the jacks and slides. I would highly recommend his services and wish we had him in North Carolina where we are from. So we found Troy through a referral at Skinners. Troy came to our TT and took a look at our vents and determined that we just need to get them cleaned out. He instructed my wife on how to do this in the most effective and efficient way. The young man was gracious and chose not to charge us for him coming out. That showed to us that he cared more about our comfort and security than he did getting paid. We will be using him again and will be scheduling a time for him to come out and look at our AC unit. We were all packed up and ready to head home after a long trip and our RV slide-out did not slide-in. Our great relieve was the McCloud RV park in Oregon had the business cards for TROY'S MOBILE RV REPAIR AND WELDING. "mobile" was a key word for us as you can't travel or be towed in a 33 ft. with the slide out. His phonemail gave us an "emergency" contact who responded within a very short time and was knowledgeable. TROY not only arrived to help us, he cut his lunch time just to make time for us. I had an issue with my power converter after setting up on a Thursday evening. Drove out to get cell service and found Troy's mobile RV repair. I left a message and headed back to the park for the night. The next morning I drove out to get cell service and Troy called back. He couldn't fit me into his schedule until Monday which was the day we were leaving so he spent 30 minutes on the phone helping me figure out a work around to keep us up and running through the weekend. Traveling through the area we camped overnight at the KOA in Mt. Shasta. The following morning when we attempted to leave, the hydraulic jacks failed to retract. We called Troy and before we knew it we were back on the road again. He not only got the jacks to retract, he provided an education on how to retract jacks manually and even gifted the wrench needed to accomplish the job. We were in a bind as my mom now gets around in an electric wheelchair and we needed to have a receiver hitch welded onto their travel trailer so that they could bring it along on their annual camping trip up to Oregon.
